Abstract
本发明公开了一种提高高熵合金低温耐磨性的方法,属于耐磨合金材料技术领域,本发明的方法使高熵合金中析出纳米碳化物;通过成分调控使合金处于亚稳态,使合金在低温摩擦过程诱导产生相变,相变产生的硬质HCP相阻碍磨损,使合金耐磨性提高。本发明制备的高熵合金随着温度降低,耐磨性能提高,在‑120℃具有优异的耐磨性,该合金有望在低温环境,如深海、极地探测、火星探测等领域得到应用。

技术领域
本发明属于耐磨合金材料技术领域,具体涉及一种提高合金低温耐磨性的方法。
背景技术
摩擦磨损伴随着生活的方方面面,摩擦磨损造成了大量的能源消耗和经济损失。极端复杂的低温环境会降低材料的韧性,降低材料的服役性能,如曾经轰动一时的泰坦尼克号在撞击冰山时,由于材料的低温脆性使船体发生了脆性断裂,最终发生了不可挽救的灾难。随着航天、航海事业的进一步发展,北极航线不断开拓,到2020年,北极航线船舶货运量增至6500万吨,预计2030年将达到1.2亿吨,并且对深海、极地的不断探索,针对高性能的低温耐磨材料的需求越来越迫切。
目前应用于低温领域的材料主要是低合金耐磨钢,但是其最大的问题就是低温脆性,随着温度降低,合金变脆,各方面性能极具降低,磨损极剧增加,严重限制了其在低温下的应用。上海海事大学发表的一篇“温度对10CrMn2NiSiCuAl极地破冰船用钢板干摩擦行为的影响”一文中,对10CrMn2NiSiCuAl极地破冰船用钢板进行从室温到低温的摩擦磨损实验,实验结果表明,随摩擦温度降低,磨损率大大增加,-20℃的磨损率为20℃磨损率的100倍左右。
高熵合金是近年来由叶钧蔚教授和cantor教授提出的一种由多种原子以接近等摩尔比的多主元合金。打破了传统的混合晗为主的单主元成分设计理念,高熵合金以混合熵为主,使混合熵最大化,从而使合金形成简单固溶体结构。高熵合金独特的结构特点使其在性能上有许多优势:高强度、高硬度、高断裂韧性、高耐磨以及耐腐蚀性能,并且面心立方高熵合金在低温环境下具有优异的力学性能,极高的断裂韧性,没有明显的韧脆转变,在低温环境具有良好的应用前景,如作为极地探测用的极地破冰船材料等。
面心立方高熵合金通常具有优异的塑性,但强度、硬度较低,屈服通常只有200~300MPa,因此诞生了多种强韧化方法用于提高面心立方高熵合金的强度、硬度。添加间隙原子被作为一种有效提高力学性能的方式。通过添加适量间隙原子,有利于通过固溶强化增强合金力学性能,并且间隙原子加入通过诱导产生析出相,进一步提高合金的强度、硬度。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术的不足,本发明提供了一种提高高熵合金低温耐磨性的方法和一种低温耐磨高熵合金,该合金在低温环境下摩擦,处于亚稳态的合金发生了由FCCγ相向HCPε相的相变,摩擦表面生成的HCP相硬度高,阻碍进一步磨损,所以合金磨损率降低,合金更耐磨。
本发明的提高高熵合金低温耐磨性的方法,具体通过以下技术方案实现:
本发明的第一个目的是提供一种低温耐磨高熵合金,其特征在于,按原子百分比计,该高熵合金包括以下成分:
Fe:40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、 Cr:10.0~20.0at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%。
本发明的第二个目的是提供一种提高高熵合金低温耐磨性的方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
S1、通过成分设计设计出一种亚稳态高熵合金,其在低温环境受力作用下能够发生相变生成硬质HCP相;通过成分设计设计出一种析出相增强高熵合金,纳米级别的第二相提高合金性能。
S2、真空感应熔炼制备目标成分高熵合金。
S3、合金于1200℃均匀化退火2h,使成分更均匀。
S4、合金经过压下率为97%的热轧处理,待合金冷却后去除氧化层后进行压下率为67%的冷轧处理。
S5、将冷轧处理后的合金分为三部分,分别放置于650℃、800℃、 900℃的热处理炉内保温1h后取出水淬。
本发明与现有技术相比,具有以下有益效果:
本发明的低温耐磨高熵合金的成分设计中,Mn元素有利于提高合金的层错能,是FCC结构的稳定性元素,而Co和Cr有利于降低合金的层错能,是HCP结构的稳定性元素。而本发明提供的低温耐磨高熵合金的是处于亚稳状态的FCC结构高熵合金。当合金受到应力作用时,会产生应力诱发相变行为,而相变消耗能量并产生强度更高的HCP相,因此会延缓材料断裂失效或磨损脱落,从而提升材料的性能。
本发明的低温耐磨高熵合金服役于低温环境时,由于低温降低合金的层错能,从而降低合金相变的激活能,使材料受到应力作用时,相变更容易发生或相变进行得更充分,从而使合金在低温下具有优异的性能,没有明显的韧脆转变,而传统钢材低温下性能急剧下降。因此,本发明与传统低温材料相反,在一定温度范围内,温度越低,耐磨性越好。
本发明的低温耐磨高熵合金加入C元素。一方面,C以间隙原子的形式存在于固溶体中,固溶强化提高合金性能;另一方面,通过合适的热处理工艺促使C与Cr结合形成碳化物Cr23C6析出,该碳化物处于纳米级别,纳米碳化物析出强化提高合金性能。
本发明的低温耐磨高熵合金经过热轧、冷轧处理,消除铸造缺陷,细化晶粒,进一步提高合金的性能。

具体实施方式
本发明提供一种亚稳态低温耐磨高熵合金,实施例低温耐磨高熵合金采用50kg的真空感应炉熔炼,下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述。
实施例1
一种亚稳态低温耐磨高熵合金,其成分以原子百分比计为Fe: 40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、Cr:10.0~20.0 at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%,按照目的成分比例计算并称取单质原料,然后采用真空感应熔炼制备该合金,将合金铸锭在通氩气的热处理炉内在1200℃下保温2h,然后将合金置于轧辊直径为450mm的热轧机上经过多道次轧制将合金厚度由100mm轧制3mm,待冷却至室温后去除表面氧化层后进行压下率为67%的冷轧,冷轧后的样品置于650℃的热处理炉内保温1h,取出水冷。
将表面抛光处理后的合金置于0℃、-40℃、-80℃、-120℃的摩擦试验机环境温度下,环境温度采用液氮制冷,以直径为6.35mm的 GCr15作为对磨副,在载荷为10N,半径为1mm,速度为60rpm,时间为20min的条件下进行摩擦磨损实验。实验结束后采用白光干涉三维表面轮廓仪测量合金的磨损体积。
实施例2
一种亚稳态低温耐磨高熵合金,其成分以原子百分比计为Fe: 40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、Cr:10.0~20.0 at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%,按照目的成分比例计算并称取单质原料,然后采用真空感应熔炼制备该合金,将合金铸锭在通氩气的热处理炉内在1200℃下保温2h,然后将合金置于轧辊直径为450mm的热轧机上经过多道次轧制将合金厚度由100mm轧制3mm,待冷却至室温后去除表面氧化层后进行压下率为67%的冷轧,冷轧后的样品置于 800℃的热处理炉内保温1h,取出水冷。
将表面抛光处理后的合金置于0℃、-40℃、-80℃、-120℃的摩擦试验机环境温度下,环境温度采用液氮制冷,以直径为6.35mm的 GCr15作为对磨副,在载荷为10N,半径为1mm,速度为60rpm,时间为20min的条件下进行摩擦磨损实验。实验结束后采用白光干涉三维表面轮廓仪测量合金的磨损体积。
实施例3
一种亚稳态低温耐磨高熵合金,其成分以原子百分比计为Fe: 40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、Cr:10.0~20.0 at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%,按照目的成分比例计算并称取单质原料,然后采用真空感应熔炼制备该合金,将合金铸锭在通氩气的热处理炉内在1200℃下保温2h,然后将合金置于轧辊直径为450mm的热轧机上经过多道次轧制将合金厚度由100mm轧制3mm,待冷却至室温后去除表面氧化层后进行压下率为67%的冷轧,冷轧后的样品置于 900℃的热处理炉内保温1h,取出水冷。

图1是目标低温耐磨高熵合金的X射线衍射图。通过对图1分析可以看出实施例2和实施例3制备的合金为单相FCC结构,实施例1制备的合金由大量FCC相和少部分HCP相组成。
图2是目标低温耐磨高熵合金的SEM-BSE和EBSD微观组织结构图。从图中可以看出实施例2(图2b)和实施例3(图2c)制备的合金为完全再结晶的等轴晶。EBSD结果显示,该合金为FCC结构,这和XRD结果一致;实施例1(图2a)制备的合金为异质结构,即部分再结晶组织,EBSD结果显示该合金由FCC和HCP相组成,这和XRD 结果一致。
图3是目标低温耐磨高熵合金的TEM显微组织图和能谱图。从图中可以看出合金晶粒内部分布着大量黑色的析出相,从能谱结果可以发现该析出相富Cr,通过选区电子衍射标定,其为FCC结构,晶格常数为1.066nm,确定该纳米析出相为Cr23C6。
图4是目标低温耐磨高熵合金在10N载荷下,分别在0、-40、-80、 -120℃下摩擦20分钟的摩擦系数曲线以及磨损率图。随着摩擦实验温度的降低,合金的磨损率降低,实施例3制备的合金在-120℃摩擦后的磨损率达到1.9×10-5mm3/m·N。从磨痕的深度图和三维轮廓图可以看出,随着摩擦实验温度降低,磨痕宽度和深度明显减小,磨损体积明显降低,说明本发明合金在低温下具有优异的耐磨损性能。

1.一种低温耐磨高熵合金,其特征在于:
所述高熵合金在没有外力作用状态下呈现FCC固溶体结构,C以间隙原子的形式存在于固溶体中;
所述高熵合金中含有从固溶体中析出的纳米级别碳化物Cr23C6;
所述高熵合金在外力作用状态下,受力作用部位会产生由FCC结构向HCP结构的相变,相变产生的硬质HCP相阻碍磨损。
2.如权利要求1所述低温耐磨高熵合金,其特征在于:包括以下原子百分比的合金组分:Fe:40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、Cr:10.0~20.0at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%。

S1、高熵合金包括以下原子百分比的合金组分:Fe:40.0~50.0at.%、Mn:20.0~30.0at.%、Co:5.0~10.0at.%、Cr:10.0~20.0at.%、C:0.5~2.0at.%;
S2、采用真空感应熔炼制备高熵合金;
S3、高熵合金于1200℃均匀化退火2h,使成分更均匀;
S4、高熵合金经过压下率为97%的热轧处理,待合金冷却后去除氧化层后进行压下率为67%的冷轧处理;
S5、将冷轧处理后的高熵合金分为三部分,分别放置于650℃、800℃、900℃的热处理炉内保温1h后取出水淬;使合金处于亚稳态;
S6、使高熵合金在外力作用状态下,受力作用部位会产生由FCC结构向HCP结构的相变,相变产生的硬质HCP相阻碍磨损,从而提高高熵合金低温耐磨性,从0℃到-120℃,随着温度降低,耐磨性提高。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于:
所述高熵合金的合金耐磨性在-120℃的磨损率达到1.9×10-5mm3/m·N。
8.如权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述加工处理为1200℃进行压下率为97%的热轧和压下率为67%的冷轧处理。
9.如权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述热处理包括合金熔炼完成后进行1200℃退火2h和合金冷轧后900℃保温1h后水淬。
10.一种低温耐磨高熵合金的用途,其特征在于,所述低温耐磨高熵合金可用于温度低于0℃,最低达-120℃的低温环境。
