Abstract
The invention relates to a method for switching and playing live programs of a digital television, which comprises the following steps: the set top box acquires a live broadcast address configuration file and plays live broadcast; acquiring audience rating data in the playing process in real time, and counting digital television programs with top ranking of audience ratings; and broadcasting and transmitting the digital television programs with the front audience rating through a DVB broadcasting channel, and transmitting the rest digital television programs through an IP channel. The invention also provides a storage medium and a system for switching and playing the live digital television programs, and the method, the storage medium and the system for switching and playing the live digital television programs can reasonably utilize the existing DVB broadcast channel resources and a part of IP channel resources of the coaxial cable of the cable television network.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of broadcast television, and particularly relates to a method, a storage medium and a system for switching and playing live programs of a digital television.
Background
In view of the audience situation of the live digital television programs, most users can concentrate on a small part of live digital television programs at the head, and head effect occurs, namely, the users are generally watching programs with a small quantity of broadcasting hot spots. That is, a few small digital television live programs with a top rating may cover a majority of digital television live programs being watched by the user. The audience rating of other non-hot live programs is lower, so that fewer users can watch the programs, and the audience rating requirements of the live televisions distributed at the tail can be understood as personalized and scattered small-scale requirements.
Most of the set-top boxes used in cable television networks support the ability of DVB broadcast channels and IP channels to receive digital television live programming. In a coaxial cable of a cable television network, a digital television live program is generally broadcast and transmitted through a DVB broadcast channel, a large number of DVB broadcast devices are deployed at the front end, the DVB broadcast channel can be realized by directly utilizing frequency resources of the coaxial cable, and a set top box uses the receiving capability of the DVB broadcast channel to watch the live program. When the digital television live programs are broadcast and transmitted through the DVB broadcast channel, the DVB broadcast channel can be pre-allocated to the downlink bandwidth required by the transmission of each digital television program, so that each digital television live program can obtain the bandwidth resources required by the transmission, and the problem that the digital television live programs contend for the transmission resources is avoided. And, broadcast and transmit a part of digital television live programs in the coaxial cable, all set-top boxes that insert the network can receive the digital television live programs with the same quality.

The coaxial cable of the cable television network can also realize the IP channel through schemes such as front-end CMTS equipment (terminal CM is used in a matched mode), hinoc equipment (terminal Hinoc CM is used in a matched mode), and the like, the use scene that the digital television live program is transmitted through the IP channel is taken as an example that the front-end CMTS equipment (terminal CM is used in a matched mode) realizes the IP channel, the front end needs to deploy the CMTS equipment and configure IP downlink channel resources to realize the IP channel on the frequency resource of the coaxial cable, the terminal also needs to be matched with the CM equipment, and the set top box uses the IP channel receiving capability to watch the live program from the IP channel of the CM equipment. After the coaxial cable of the cable television network is converted into the IP channel, the resource use flexibility and the use efficiency of the IP channel are higher, and the IP channel can be used for transmitting digital television live programs and can also be used for IP data services such as broadband, internet and the like.
Aiming at the use scene of the digital television live program, the IP channel cannot allocate the downlink bandwidth in advance, the bandwidth resource required by the transmission of the digital television live program cannot be ensured, and the problem that transmission resources are strived for by a plurality of digital television live programs and IP data services is likely to occur. Further, the updating the live address configuration file according to the audience rating data further comprises the steps of: acquiring the playing address of the digital television program with the audience rating ranking close to the front; acquiring play addresses of other digital television programs; and regenerating the broadcasting addresses of the digital television programs with the top ranking and the rest digital television programs into a live broadcasting address configuration file.
Further, when the audience rating data is sent to change, the configuration server actively informs the set top box of updating the live address configuration file through the IP channel.

The invention has the following effects: by referring to audience rating statistics results, existing DVB broadcast channel resources and a part of IP channel resources of the coaxial cable of the cable television network are reasonably utilized, digital television live program transmission is realized efficiently with high cost performance, the high reliability guarantee requirement of digital television live program transmission is met through the existing DVB broadcast channel, flexible application of the coaxial cable channel resources of the cable television network is realized through the IP channel, fund investment of channel IP transformation is relieved, and saved IP downlink channel resources are favorable for improving channel quality of IP data service. Thereby realizing the effect of reasonably utilizing the existing DVB broadcast channel resources and a part of IP channel resources of the coaxial cable of the cable television network.
