Example two
Fig. 4 is a flowchart of an adjusting method for adjusting fans in an adjustable fan array according to a second embodiment of the present invention, where this embodiment is applicable to adjusting and controlling fans in servers and effectively eliminating hot spots, and the method may be implemented by a fan control board in any one of the servers provided in the foregoing embodiments. As shown in fig. 4, the method includes:
s201, if the hot spot is determined to exist according to the acquired temperature data and the angle adjustment condition is met, a fan candidate list is formed according to the position coordinates of the hot spot, and the fan candidate list comprises at least one adjustable fan in an adjustable fan array.
In this embodiment, the angle adjustment condition may be specifically understood as a condition for determining whether to adjust the angle of the fan, for example, the rotation speed of the adjustable fan closest to the hot spot has reached the maximum value, the rotation speeds of all the adjustable fans have reached the maximum value, the existence time of the hot spot has exceeded the preset time period, and the like. The fan candidate list may be specifically understood as a list of adjustable fans that can be angularly adjusted to eliminate hot spots.
Specifically, the temperature data sent by the server mainboard is received, the temperature data is analyzed, whether a position with overhigh temperature exists or not is judged, if yes, a hot spot is determined to exist, and the position corresponding to the temperature is determined as the position of the hot spot. Judging whether angle adjustment conditions are met or not by collecting information such as the rotating speed of the fan, the duration time of the hot spot and the like, if so, determining the position coordinates of the hot spot, screening each adjustable fan in the adjustable fan array according to the position coordinates of the hot spot to obtain adjustable fans for adjustment, and forming a fan candidate list.
When the hot spot is judged to exist, the temperature of coordinates at different positions is analyzed, and the heat area partition is finely controlled.
S202, selecting a target fan from the fan candidate list, and adjusting the angle until the adjustment ending condition is met.
In the present embodiment, the target fan may be specifically understood as an adjustable fan that is actually adjusted. The number of the target fans may be one or more, and when there are a plurality of target fans, the target fans may be adjusted simultaneously or sequentially. The adjustment ending adjustment may specifically be understood as a judgment condition for judging whether to continue adjusting the fans, for example, the hot spot disappears, all the fans are adjusted, and the like.
The target fan is selected from the fan candidate list, and the target fan may be selected according to the sequence or the position between the target fan and the hot spot. When the target fan is selected for angle adjustment, one target fan may be selected for angle adjustment, whether the hot spot disappears or not is judged, and if the hot spot disappears, it is determined that the adjustment end condition is satisfied, and the adjustment is ended. If the hot spot does not disappear, the adjustment can be continued until the hot spot disappears. Or when the target fan is selected for angle adjustment, multiple target fans can be selected for adjustment, then whether the hot spot disappears or not is determined, if the hot spot disappears, the condition for finishing adjustment can be met, and the adjustment is finished. And after the adjustment is finished, setting the angle and the rotating speed of the target fan according to the adjustment result.
The embodiment of the invention provides an adjusting method of a fan in an adjustable fan array, which solves the problem that heat can not be effectively dissipated, a fan control board receives temperature data transmitted by a server mainboard, analyzes the temperature data, judges whether an angle adjusting condition is met or not when the hot spot exists, if the angle adjusting condition is met, a fan candidate list is formed according to position coordinates of the hot spot, a target fan is selected from the fan candidate list for angle adjustment, the hot spot is dissipated, and the hot spot is effectively eliminated. The fan control panel carries out the process of regulation control to adjustable fan, can not occupy the resource that the server was originally, carries out high-efficient regulation to each adjustable fan, effectively reduces the temperature of server, eliminates the hot spot, guarantees server normal operating.
EXAMPLE III
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of an adjusting method of fans in an adjustable fan array according to a third embodiment of the present invention, which is detailed based on the second embodiment. As shown in fig. 5, the method includes:
s301, if the hot spot is determined to exist according to the acquired temperature data, the rotating speed of each adjustable fan in the adjustable fan array is increased.
And acquiring and analyzing temperature data, if hot spots exist, adjusting the rotating speed of each adjustable fan in the adjustable fan array, and achieving the purpose of effective heat dissipation by adjusting the rotating speed to be high. When the rotating speed is increased, one adjustable fan can be selected for adjustment, and a plurality of adjustable fans can also be selected for adjustment. When the adjustable fan is selected for speed adjustment, the selection can be performed according to the position coordinates of the hot spot, for example, the nearest adjustable fan speed or adjustable fan speeds are selected, and the farthest adjustable fan speed or adjustable fan speeds are selected. When a plurality of adjustable fans are selected to adjust the rotating speed, the rotating speed of each selected adjustable fan can be directly adjusted to the highest rotating speed, or the rotating speed of each selected adjustable fan can be adjusted to different rotating speeds according to the distance or the position, and the adjusting process can be completed once or gradually adjusted according to different step lengths.
In the process of adjusting the rotating speed, the maximum value and the minimum value of the rotating speed can be set to limit the rotating speed, and the adjustable fan is guaranteed to work within a safe working range.
And S302, if the hot spot does not disappear, determining that the angle adjustment condition is met.
In the rotating speed adjusting process, if the hot spot disappears, the rotating speed of each adjustable fan is set according to the rotating speed adjusting result. If the hot spot has not disappeared (for example, the rotation speed has been adjusted to the maximum value, and the hot spot still does not disappear at this time), and the rotation speed adjustment cannot eliminate the hot spot at this time, it is determined that the angle adjustment condition is satisfied.
S303, determining the fan position coordinates of each adjustable fan in the adjustable fan array.
In the present embodiment, the fan position coordinates may be specifically understood as position coordinates of the adjustable fan. The position of each adjustable fan is fixed after installation, and a point can be selected in advance as an origin to determine the fan position coordinate of each adjustable fan. For example, the position coordinates of each hardware and different parts in the server chassis are determined by taking the lower left corner of the server chassis as an origin.
S304, calculating the distance between each adjustable fan and the hot spot according to the position coordinates of each fan and the position coordinates of the hot spot, and deleting the adjustable fan with the nearest distance.
The position coordinates of the hot spot can be determined according to the temperature data, when the temperature sensor is installed, the coordinates are determined according to the distance between the temperature sensor and the origin, and correspondingly, after the temperature sensor collects the temperature, the coordinates corresponding to the temperature are correspondingly determined. Therefore, when determining the hot spot, the coordinate corresponding to the temperature is determined as the position coordinate of the hot spot.
Under the condition that the position coordinates of each fan and the position coordinates of the hot spot are known, the distance between each adjustable fan and the hot spot is calculated according to a distance calculation formula, the distance (or the distance) is compared, and the adjustable fan closest to the hot spot is removed.
S305, comparing the remaining distances, and sorting the adjustable fans according to the sequence from far to near to form a fan candidate list.
And after removing the adjustable fan with the nearest distance, comparing the remaining distances, sorting the distances according to the distance from far to near (from large to small), determining the adjustable fan corresponding to each distance, and forming a fan candidate list by using the adjustable fans according to the sequence, namely sorting the adjustable fans according to the distance between the adjustable fans and the hot spot from far to near to form the fan candidate list.
S306, selecting an adjustable fan from the fan candidate list as a target fan to adjust and judging whether an adjustment ending condition is met.
When one adjustable fan is selected from the fan candidate list as the target fan, any one of the adjustable fans can be selected, or the adjustable fan can be selected according to a certain rule, and after the target fan is adjusted, whether the adjustment ending condition is met or not is judged according to the adjusted result.
As an optional embodiment of this embodiment, the optional embodiment further optimizes selecting one adjustable fan from the fan candidate list as the target fan to adjust and judging whether the adjustment ending condition is satisfied as follows:
and A1, selecting an adjustable fan with the farthest distance from the hot spot from a fan candidate list as a target fan.
When the adjustable fans in the fan candidate list are sorted according to the distance from far to near, the first adjustable fan in the fan candidate list is the fan with the farthest distance from the hot spot, and the fan is taken as the target fan.
And A2, determining a first adjusting direction according to the fan position coordinate of the target fan and the position coordinate of the hot spot, and adjusting the target fan according to a preset angle and the first adjusting direction.
In this embodiment, the first adjusting direction may be specifically understood as a direction in which the target fan performs angle adjustment, such as left and right, or clockwise and counterclockwise. The preset angle may be preset by a user, and the preset angle may be 3 °, 5 °, or the like.
Specifically, the fan position coordinates are compared with the position coordinates of the hot spot to determine whether the hot spot is on the left side or the right side of the target fan, and then to determine a first adjustment direction, for example, whether the hot spot is on the left side of the target fan, where the first adjustment direction is left or counterclockwise. And controlling the target fan to rotate by a preset angle towards the first adjusting direction.
And A3, acquiring temperature data after the preset time, and judging whether the adjustment is effective or not according to the temperature data after the preset time.
In this embodiment, the preset time is specifically understood to be a preset period of time for observing the change of the temperature data, for example, 2s. After the target fan is adjusted, waiting for a preset time, and then acquiring temperature data to obtain the temperature data after the preset time. And analyzing the temperature data after the preset time, and judging whether the regulation is effective or not. The conditioning effect may be that the temperature variation of the hot spot satisfies a certain condition, for example, a temperature decrease.
And A4, if the temperature is effective and the temperature of the hot spot meets the expected temperature condition, determining that the regulation end condition is met.
In this embodiment, the expected temperature condition may be that the temperature is less than a temperature threshold, or that the temperature variation is greater than a certain threshold, etc. During fan adjustment, the temperature of the hot spot may change as the fan angle is adjusted, for example, the temperature of the hot spot decreases as the angle of the target fan changes, and when the temperature of the hot spot satisfies the expected temperature condition, it is determined that the adjustment end condition is satisfied.
And A5, if the hot spot temperature is effective and does not meet the expected temperature condition, determining that the adjustment ending condition is not met, taking the next adjustable fan of the target fan as a new target fan, and returning to execute A2.
In the process of adjusting the target fan, if the temperature of the hot spot does not meet the expected temperature condition after the target fan adjusts the angle, the next target fan is continuously adjusted. And taking the next adjustable fan of the target fans in the fan candidate list as a new target fan, and returning to the step S307 to determine the first adjusting direction, so as to perform adjustment.
And A6, if the adjustment is invalid, determining that the adjustment ending condition is not met, and repeatedly adjusting the adjusted target fan according to the preset angle and the first adjustment direction until the adjustment is valid or the angle of the target fan reaches the maximum angle value.
In this embodiment, the maximum angle value is the maximum angle that the target fan can rotate, and the maximum angle value may include the maximum values in the left and right directions, and may be represented by positive and negative values, or may be identified by setting two different left and right identifiers. The maximum angle values in the left and right directions may be the same or different.
If the adjustment is invalid, the hot spot cannot be effectively eliminated by the current angle of the target fan, and the adjustment ending condition is not met. Repeatedly adjusting the adjusted target fan according to the preset angle and the first adjusting direction, judging whether the adjustment is effective, and if the adjustment is effective, judging whether the temperature of the hot spot meets the expected temperature condition; and if the adjustment is invalid every time, stopping the adjustment after the angle of the target fan reaches the maximum angle value. The rotation angle of the target fan is limited by setting the maximum angle value, so that the fan is prevented from being damaged due to over rotation.
And S307, if the adjustment finishing condition is met, controlling the target fan to work according to the adjusted angle.
If the adjustment ending condition is met, the angle of the target fan when the adjustment ending condition is met can be determined and used as an adjustment result, the angle of the target fan is set to be a corresponding angle in the adjustment result, and the target fan can work according to the angle, so that heat dissipation can be effectively carried out on the hot spot.
When the hot spot temperature meets the expected temperature condition, the angle of the target fan is set according to the adjusting result, the fan can work according to the angle, the hot spot is prevented from being generated again, the heat of the server is effectively dissipated, and the work of the server is prevented from being influenced.
And S308, if the adjustment ending condition is not met and all adjustable fans in the fan candidate list are used as target fans to carry out angle adjustment, selecting at least two adjustable fans from the fan candidate list as the target fans to carry out adjustment, and judging whether the adjustment ending condition is met.
In the process of selecting one adjustable fan for adjustment, one adjustable fan can be selected in sequence for adjustment, namely, if one adjustable fan cannot eliminate hot spots after adjustment, one adjustable fan can be continuously selected for adjustment. If all the adjustable fans in the fan candidate list are used as target fans to be subjected to angle adjustment and still do not meet the adjustment ending condition, at least two adjustable fans can be selected to be simultaneously adjusted, at least two adjustable fans are selected from the fan candidate list to be used as the target fans to be adjusted, and whether the adjustment ending condition is met or not is judged according to the adjusted result.
As an optional embodiment of this embodiment, the optional embodiment further optimizes selecting at least two adjustable fans from the fan candidate list as target fans to adjust and judging whether the adjustment ending condition is satisfied as follows:
and B1, selecting at least two adjustable fans from the fan candidate list as target fans and forming a target fan combination.
In the present embodiment, the target fan combination is specifically understood as a combination of a plurality of target fans. When a target fan is selected to form a target fan combination, a plurality of adjustable fans can be randomly selected as the target fan; the position relationship between the fans and the hot spot can also be considered to select the target fan, for example, the selected target fan is the fan on the same side of the hot spot, so that the air channel turbulence and mutual offset of a plurality of target fans are avoided when the target fans work, and the purpose of combined heat dissipation cannot be achieved.
When a plurality of adjustable fans are selected as the target fans to be adjusted, the maximum number of fans can be set, and the adjustable fans are selected as the target fans and form the target fan combination under the condition that the range is not exceeded.
And B2, determining a second adjusting direction according to the fan position coordinates of each target fan and the position coordinates of the hot spot, and adjusting each target fan according to the preset angle and the corresponding second adjusting direction.
In this embodiment, the second adjusting direction may be specifically understood as an adjusting direction of the target fan when adjusting the angles of the plurality of fans, and may be left and right, or clockwise, counterclockwise, or the like. And for each target fan, comparing the position coordinates of the fan with the position coordinates of the hot spot, determining whether the hot spot is positioned on the left side or the right side of the target fan, and determining a second adjusting direction, wherein the determining principle is the same as that of the first adjusting direction. And simultaneously controlling each target fan to rotate to the corresponding second adjusting direction by a preset angle.
It should be noted that the target fan adjusted in this step is already adjusted in the adjusting process in step S306, and the target fan may continue to be adjusted based on the previously adjusted angle, and may not be adjusted again if the maximum angle has been reached. And judging whether the maximum angle value is reached or not at all times in the adjusting process, and if the maximum angle value is reached, not adjusting.
And B3, acquiring temperature data after the preset time, and judging whether the adjustment is effective according to the temperature data after the preset time.
The principle of determining whether the adjustment is valid in this step is the same as that in step A3, and will not be described herein again.
And B4, if the temperature of the hot spot is effective and meets the expected temperature condition, determining that the regulation end condition is met.
And B5, if the hot spot temperature is effective and does not meet the expected temperature condition, determining that the regulation end condition is not met, reselecting a new target fan combination from the fan candidate list, and returning to execute B2, wherein the target fan combination is different from the new target fan combination.
In the process of adjusting each target fan, if the temperature of the hot spot does not meet the expected temperature condition after each target fan adjusts the angle, the target fan combination is reselected. And selecting a new adjustable fan from the fan candidate list to form a new target fan combination, and returning to the step S307 to determine a second adjustment direction so as to perform adjustment. To ensure the effectiveness of the adjustment, each new target fan combination is selected different from the previously selected target fan combination, at least one of the target fans is different, or a plurality of target fans are different.
And B6, if the target fan is invalid, determining that the adjustment finishing condition is not met, and repeatedly adjusting each adjusted target fan according to the preset angle and the second adjustment direction until the adjustment is valid or the angle of each target fan reaches the maximum angle value.
If the adjustment is invalid, the hot spot cannot be effectively eliminated by the angle of each target fan, and the adjustment ending condition is not met. Repeatedly adjusting each adjusted target fan according to a preset angle and a second adjusting direction, judging whether the adjustment is effective, and if the adjustment is effective, judging whether the temperature of the hot spot meets an expected temperature condition; and if the adjustment is invalid every time, stopping adjusting after the angle of each target fan reaches the maximum angle value.
And S309, if the adjustment ending condition is met, controlling each target fan to work according to the adjusted angle.
When the adjustment finishing condition is met, stopping adjustment, determining the angle of each target fan when the adjustment finishing condition is met, taking the angle as an adjustment result, setting the angle of each target fan as a corresponding angle in the adjustment result, and enabling each target fan to work according to the angle to effectively radiate the hot spot.
As an optional embodiment of this embodiment, the optional embodiment further optimizes the judgment on whether the adjustment is effective according to the temperature data after the preset time as follows:
and C1, determining the temperature change of the hot spot and the temperature change of hardware in a non-hot spot area in the server according to the temperature data after the preset time.
In this embodiment, the temperature change may be a temperature change magnitude, a temperature change speed, or the like. And analyzing the temperature changes of different positions according to the temperature data to determine the temperature change of the hot spot, wherein the temperature change can be determined by determining the temperature difference before and after a preset time according to the position coordinates of the hot spot. Meanwhile, the temperature difference of the positions of other hardware in the non-hot spot area in the server before and after the preset time is determined, and then the temperature change is determined. According to the method and the device, when the temperature change of the hardware in the non-hot spot area in the server is monitored, the temperature change of important hardware, such as a CPU (central processing unit), a memory and the like, can be selectively monitored. The position coordinates of hardware to be monitored can be preset, temperature data can be collected according to the position coordinates, and then temperature change can be determined.
And C2, if the temperature change of the hot spot meets the temperature reduction condition and the temperature change of the hardware in the non-hot spot area meets the temperature increase condition, determining that the adjustment is effective.
In the present embodiment, the temperature decrease condition may be that the value of the temperature decrease is larger than a set threshold value, or that the temperature decreases to a set value, or that the speed of the temperature decrease reaches a set minimum speed, or the like. The temperature increase adjustment may be that the value of the temperature increase is less than a set threshold, or that the speed of the temperature increase is less than a set speed threshold, etc.
Judging whether the temperature change of the hot spot meets the temperature reduction regulation or not, and if so, determining that the hot spot can be effectively eliminated after the target regulating fan is regulated; meanwhile, whether the temperature change of the hardware in the non-hot spot area meets the temperature increase condition is judged, if yes, the target adjusting fan is determined to be not influencing the heat dissipation of other positions after the angle is adjusted, and therefore if the temperature change of the hot spot meets the temperature decrease condition and the temperature change of the hardware in the non-hot spot area meets the temperature increase condition, the adjustment is determined to be effective. When the hardware is multiple, and whether the adjustment is effective is judged, the temperature change of all the hardware can meet the temperature rise condition, and the adjustment is determined to be effective.
As an optional embodiment of this embodiment, the optional embodiment further optimizes the maximum angle to be a preset maximum fan angle or an adjustable maximum angle; the adjustable maximum angle is determined according to the fan position coordinates of the target fan and the position coordinates of the hot spot.
In this embodiment, the preset maximum fan angle may be specifically understood as a preset maximum angle that the fan can adjust; the adjustable maximum angle is the maximum angle which can be adjusted by the fan and is determined according to the actual fan distribution condition and the hot spot distribution condition, and the fan has poor heat dissipation effect on the hot spots when the angle is exceeded. In the angle adjustment process of the target fan, the maximum angle may be a preset maximum fan angle or an adjustable maximum angle. In the actual adjusting process of the target fan, when aiming at a hot spot, the target fan only needs to be adjusted towards one direction, so that the maximum angle value in one direction only needs to be applied in the actual adjusting process. For example, when adjusting to the right, the preset maximum fan angle and the adjustable maximum angle are determined, the sizes of the two angles are compared, and the smaller one is selected as the maximum value of the angle.
And in the adjusting process of the target fan, determining the adjustable maximum angle according to the fan position coordinate of the target fan and the position coordinate of the hot spot. The adjustable maximum angle of the target fan may be determined by: determining a connecting line between the target fan and the hot spot, determining the direction (for example, the vertical direction) opposite to the target fan when the target fan is installed as 0 degree, and calculating the angle of the connecting line between the target fan and the hot spot as the adjustable maximum angle. The 0 ° corresponding to the direction in which the target fan is facing can also be regarded as the minimum value of the angle of adjustment.
The method comprises the steps that firstly, a single fan is adjusted in the adjusting process, when the hot spot cannot be eliminated after the single fan is adjusted, at least two fans are adjusted at the same time, in the adjusting process, whether the adjustment is effective or not is judged, invalid adjustment is avoided, the hot spot is effectively radiated, the force of a plurality of fans is integrated, the hot spot radiation and non-hot spot radiation are considered, and the heat radiation capability of the hot spot is greatly improved; meanwhile, the fan angle is adjusted in a circulating iteration mode, and the optimal fan angle is determined. The fan control board can eliminate hot spots through a complex algorithm, and cannot occupy the original resources of the server BMC. When the hot spot temperature meets the expected temperature condition, the angle of the target fan is set according to the adjusting result, the fan can work according to the angle, the hot spot is prevented from being generated again, the heat of the server is effectively dissipated, and the work of the server is prevented from being influenced.
