An inclined support member 20 is arranged between the lowest pedal 4 of the outer ladder 2 and the ladder column, and the middle part of the inclined support member 20 along the length direction is hollow; the middle part of each pedal on the outer ladder 2 along the length direction is hollow; the connecting surface 41 between each pedal on the inner ladder 1 and the ladder column of the inner ladder 1 is polygonal.
The locking device 7 comprises a locking handle 8, two ends of the locking handle 8 are respectively connected with a locking column 9 and a first limiting column 10, the locking column 9 and the first limiting column 10 are arranged in the same direction, wherein the locking column 9 is used for locking the inner ladder and the outer ladder, and the first limiting column 10 is used for keeping the locking handle 8 in an inward movement trend so as to keep the locking column 9 in a locking trend; two ends of the locking handle 8 are respectively bent inwards to form the locking column 9 and the first limiting column 10, so that the strength of the locking handle is increased. Wherein, the middle part of the locking column 9 is provided with a first limit step 18 to limit the depth of the locking column 9 extending into the inner locking hole 5; the middle part of the first limit column 10 is provided with a second limit step 19, which limits the depth of the fourth through hole 14 of the first limit column 10 extending into the end cover 13.

Compared with the prior art that the shell-shaped end cover in the locking mechanism (CN 203394340U) of the telescopic ladder is easy to deform when being subjected to impact force, the damage causes the locking device to fall off, and the ladder frame and the ladder columns lose the supporting function to cause accidents, the end cover in the scheme has a firmer structure and can bear the impact force far greater than the bearing force of the end cover in the prior art; the impact force described herein includes, but is not limited to, various impact forces experienced by the ladder frame and the ladder post during abutment of the supplemental restraint structure against each other in the event of a failure of the adjuster.
The end cover 13 is provided with a fourth through hole 14 for the first limiting column 10 to penetrate through, and the fourth through hole 14 is communicated with the cavity 12.
A limiting rod 15 is extended from the first limiting column 10, the limiting rod 15 is arranged corresponding to the chamber 12, and the free end of the limiting rod 15 is limited in the chamber 12, wherein the limiting rod 15 can be directly formed by extending the first limiting column 10, or the limiting rod 15 and the first limiting column 10 can be two parts respectively, but the two parts are rigidly connected. In order to increase the thickness of the inner solid structure of the end cap 13, the diameter of the limiting rod 15 and the first limiting column 10 can be smaller than that of the locking handle 8, so that the solid thickness can be increased to the maximum extent on the premise of ensuring enough use strength. The limiting rod 15 is sleeved with a first spring 17, the first spring 17 acts between the limiting rod 15 and the pedal 4 to enable the limiting rod 15 to keep a trend of moving towards the inside of the cavity 12, the limiting rod 15 is sleeved with a retaining ring 16, and the first spring 17 acts between the end cover 13 and the retaining ring 16 to enable the limiting rod 15 to keep a trend of moving towards the inside of the cavity 12.
The end cover 13 is fixed on the pedal 4 of the outer ladder 2 through a screw, and the screw is arranged on one surface, far away from the climbing side, of the pedal 4; the screw is combined with the end cover, so that the end cover is more firmly fixed on the pedal.
The operation portion 39 and the second spring 40 mentioned above are conventional technologies, which are known to those skilled in the art and are not innovative in the present application, and therefore, they are not described in detail herein.
Based on the above structure, the specific operation principle of the present invention is described as follows:
when the opening state of the combined ladder needs to be adjusted, the operating part 39 is flapped to move towards the direction close to the hinge shaft 33, the second spring 40 is compressed, the second spring 40 is deformed to generate elastic force to act on the hinge shaft 33, and then the hinge shaft 33 moves away from the direction of the inner hinge piece and the outer hinge piece, so that at least the second limiting column 34 on the handle 32 is driven to be separated from the through hole on the inner hinge piece and the through hole on the outer hinge piece, at the moment, the state of the combined ladder can be adjusted, the handle 32 is rotated, and the second limiting column 34 is simultaneously in aligned splicing with the first through hole 35 and the second through hole 36 or simultaneously in aligned splicing with the first through hole 35 and the third through hole 37. When the height of the combined ladder needs to be adjusted, the locking handle 8 is operated to overcome the outward displacement of the acting force of the first spring 17, the locking column 9 and the limiting column 10 are driven to simultaneously move outwards, and then the locking column 9 is at least separated from the inner locking hole 5, so that the unlocking of the inner ladder and the outer ladder is realized, then the inner ladder 1 is adjusted to the corresponding height, the locking handle 8 is rotated to enable the locking column 9 to stretch into the corresponding inner locking hole 5 on the ladder column of the inner ladder 1 through the outer locking hole 6 on the ladder column of the outer ladder 2, and then the locking of the inner ladder state and the outer ladder state is realized, and the height of the combined ladder is adjusted.

the two pairs of limiting structures comprise a first limiting part and a second limiting part; at least one pair of limiting structures in the two pairs of limiting structures are supplementary limiting structures; when the ladder is opened and is not overloaded, a gap exists between the first limiting part and the second limiting part of the supplementary limiting structure; when the ladder is opened and overloaded, the first limiting part and the second limiting part of the supplementary limiting structure are mutually abutted and matched;
the first limiting part and the second limiting part are respectively positioned on an inner hinge piece (21) and an outer hinge piece (22) which are hinged with each other in the hinge joint.

The combination ladder of claim 1, wherein: when the ladder is opened without overload, the included angle between the first limiting part and the connecting line of the hinge joint of the inner hinge plate and the outer hinge plate and the connecting line of the hinge joint of the second limiting part and the inner hinge plate are (0, 1).
3. The combination ladder of claim 1, wherein: a first limiting part in a supplementary limiting structure in the limiting structure is a limiting lug (27), and a second limiting part is a lug boss (29);

a pair of second through holes (36) and a pair of third through holes (37) are formed in the positioning disc (26); the second through holes (36) and the third through holes (37) are symmetrically arranged on two sides of a central shaft of the positioning disc (26), and the second through holes (36) and the third through holes (37) are alternately arranged around the central shaft;
when the ladder is opened, the second limiting column (34) is in counterpoint insertion with the first through hole (35) and the second through hole (36) or in counterpoint insertion with the first through hole (35) and the third through hole (37) simultaneously.

The combination ladder of claim 1, wherein: the four locking devices (7) are respectively arranged corresponding to the inner ladder post and the outer ladder post on the left side of the front ladder frame (3), the inner ladder post and the outer ladder post on the right side of the front ladder frame (3), the inner ladder post and the outer ladder post on the left side of the rear ladder frame (11) and the inner ladder post and the outer ladder post on the right side of the rear ladder frame (11);
