In practical application, the terminal device may be a UE terminal of the ullc (Ultra Reliable & Low Latency Communication, ultra-high Reliable and Ultra-low latency) service such as a network-connected automobile or an unmanned aerial vehicle, and when the VPLMN provides services for the mobile HPLMN outside the service area, the ullc service cannot be guaranteed in the prior art. In order to ensure that the URLLC service is required to be accessed to the ESA, the EAS can send a policy update request to the V-PCF, and then the terminal roaming data processing method provided by the embodiment of the application is executed, so that the URLLC service can be ensured when the VPLMN provides service for the terminal roaming data processing method.
It should be noted that, edge computing enables operators and third party services to migrate computing tasks to a network edge server near the UE, and sink computing power to edge computing nodes, so as to reduce congestion on the core network, reduce delay and load of end-to-end transmission on the transmission network, save network bandwidth resources, realize low delay and high bandwidth, further improve data processing efficiency in the universal interconnection era, quickly respond to user requests, improve service quality, and improve user experience.
The embodiment of the application provides a terminal roaming data processing method, which is applied to a home policy control function entity H-PCF of terminal equipment, and is explained below.
Responding to a request instruction of a home session management function entity (H-SMF), sending an updated session management policy to the home session management function entity (H-SMF) so that the H-SMF sends a session update response to a visiting session management function entity (V-SMF), wherein the session update response comprises: updated session management policies;
the H-SMF requests the updated session management policy to the H-PCF according to the session information in the session update request sent by the V-SMF, the session update request is sent to the H-SMF after the V-SMF receives the policy update notification request sent by the visiting policy control function entity V-PCF, and the policy update notification request and the session update request both comprise: session information;
the V-SMF is used for sending the updated session management policy to the visiting place user plane function V-UPF so that the V-UPF can manage the session according to the updated session management policy after establishing the session for the terminal equipment according to the session information.
In some embodiments, after determining a policy update in the H-PCF, the V-PCF may send a policy update notification request to the V-SMF, which receives the policy update notification request and sends a session update request to the H-SMF; the H-SMF receives the session updating request, the H-PCF responds to the request instruction of the H-SMF, the H-SMF sends updated session management strategies to the H-SMF, the H-SMF and the H-PCF realize the associated updating of the session management strategies, the H-SMF acquires the updated session management strategies from the H-PCF according to the session information, the H-SMF can send session updating responses to the V-SMF, and the V-SMF can receive the session updating responses.
In addition, the V-SMF sends an updated session management policy to the V-UPF, the V-UPF receives the updated session management policy, the V-SMF can initiate N4 session modification to the V-UPF according to the updated session management policy, the V-UPF can identify the N4 session context to be modified, and the parameters of the N4 session context are updated according to a parameter list in the updated session management policy; the V-SMF may send a policy update complete message to the V-PCF, which may receive the policy update complete message. Wherein N4 is a communication interface between the V-SMF and the V-UPF.
In an embodiment of the present application, the V-UPF includes: an upstream data classifier entity ULCL and an access point session anchor entity V-PSA; updated policies can be deployed on both ULCL and V-PSA. The V-SMF can initiate N4 session modification to the ULCL and the V-PSA according to the updated session management policy, the ULCL and the V-PSA can identify the N4 session context needing to be modified, and the parameters of the N4 session context are updated according to the parameter list in the updated session management policy.
In addition, the V-SMF may also send the updated policy to the visited base station V-RAN via the V-AMF.
Optionally, fig. 3 is a flow chart of a method for processing roaming data of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 3, before the process of responding to a request instruction of an H-SMF and sending an updated session management policy to the H-SMF, the method may include:
S301, receiving a policy update request sent by the V-PCF.
S302, generating an updated session management strategy according to the strategy updating request.
S303, sending a strategy update response to the V-PCF, so that the V-PCF sends a strategy update notification request to the V-SMF after receiving the strategy update response.
In some embodiments, the EAS may send a policy update request to the V-PCF, the V-PCF receives the policy update request and compares the policy update request with the constraints provided by the VPLMN according to the policy update request, if the policy update request of the EAS can be satisfied, the V-PCF may send the policy update request to the H-PCF, the H-PCF may receive the policy update request, the H-PCF may generate a session management policy after the policy update request, send a policy update response to the V-PCF, the V-PCF receives the policy update response, and sends a policy update notification request to the V-SMF, and the V-SMF receives the policy update notification request.
Optionally, the process of generating the updated session management policy according to the policy update request in S302 may include:
and generating an updated session management strategy according to the service quality parameter and the service quality monitoring information in the strategy updating request.
The QoS parameter may be a QoS parameter, and the QoS detection information may be QoS monitoring information.

Optionally, fig. 5 is a flow chart of a method for processing roaming data of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 5, where the method is applied to a visited user plane function V-UPF of a terminal device, and the method may include:
s501, receiving updated session management policies sent by the visiting place session management function entity V-SMF.
The updated session management policy is that V-SMF adopts the updated policy obtained by any one of the above-mentioned fig. 2-4.
S502, dividing the session stream of the terminal equipment into a first session stream and a second session stream by adopting the updated session management strategy.
In some embodiments, the V-UPF receives updated session management policies sent by the V-SMF, wherein the V-UPF includes: ULCL and V-PSA; updated session management policies are deployed on both ULCL and V-PSA; the session flow of the terminal device is divided into a first session flow and a second session flow using the ULCL.
S503, the first session stream is sent to the edge server, so that the first session stream is provided with low-delay service through the edge server.
The ULCL sends the first session stream to the edge server through the V-PSA, and the edge server sinks the computing capacity to the edge computing node, so that congestion on the core network is reduced, delay and load of end-to-end transmission on the transmission network are reduced, network bandwidth resources are saved, and low-delay and high-bandwidth service is realized for the first session stream through the edge server.
S504, sending a second session stream to the home data network H-DN to enable the H-DN to perform session communication with the terminal equipment.
In the embodiment of the application, the ULCL sends a second session flow to the home data network H-DN through the H-UPF, and session communication is carried out between the H-DN and the terminal equipment.
In summary, the embodiment of the present application provides a method for processing roaming data of a terminal, including: receiving updated session management policies sent by the visiting place session management function entity V-SMF; dividing a session stream of the terminal equipment into a first session stream and a second session stream by adopting an updated session management strategy; transmitting the first session stream to the edge server such that the first session stream is provided with a low latency service by the edge server; and sending a second session stream to the home data network H-DN to enable the H-DN to communicate with the terminal device. The updated session management policy is obtained from the H-PCF by the V-SMF through the H-SMF, so that the updated session management policy of the attribution is obtained from the visiting place, and after the terminal equipment establishes the session, the visiting place can perform management operation on the session based on the updated session management policy.
Optionally, the method may further include:
and adding a first time and a second time for the data packet in the session stream according to the updated session management strategy.
The first time is used for indicating the time when the V-UPF receives the data packet, and the second time is used for indicating the time when the V-UPF sends the data packet.
In some embodiments, when the V-PSA is sending DL packets (downlink packets), QFI (QoS Flow Identifier, qoS flow identification), QMP (QoS Monitoring Packet ) indication and time t1 are encapsulated in a GTP-U (User Plane Part of GTP, GPRS user plane part) header; when receiving a DL data packet sent by the V-PSA, the ULCL records the time t2 for receiving the DL data packet in the GTP-U header, and when the ULCL forwards the DL data packet to the RAN, the ULCL adds the forwarding time t3 into the GTP-U header; the RAN records the time t4 of receipt of the DL packet in the GTP-U header upon receipt of the DL packet forwarded via the UC CL.
In other embodiments, when receiving the UL (uplink data packet) data packet of the QFI from the UE, or when the RAN transmits a virtual UL data packet as a monitoring response, i.e., no UL data packet for UL packet delay monitoring, the RAN encapsulates QMP, t1, t2, t3, t4 and time t5 of transmitting the UL data packet in the GTP-U header; when ULCL receives the UL data packet sent by RAN, recording the receiving time t6 in GTP-U head, when the UL data packet is forwarded to V-PSA via UL CL, adding the forwarding time t7 into GTP-U head; the V-PSA adds time t8 at the time of reception to the GTP-U header when receiving the UL packet branched via the UL CL.

the V-SMF is used for sending the updated session management policy to the visiting place user plane function V-UPF so that the V-UPF can manage the session according to the updated session management policy after establishing the session for the terminal equipment according to the session information.
Optionally, the apparatus further includes:
the receiving module is used for receiving the strategy updating request sent by the V-PCF;
the generation module is used for generating the updated session management strategy according to the strategy updating request;
and the first sending module is used for sending a strategy updating response to the V-PCF so that the V-PCF sends the strategy updating notification request to the V-SMF after receiving the strategy updating response.
Optionally, the generating module is specifically configured to generate the updated session management policy according to the quality of service parameter and the quality of service monitoring information in the policy update request.
Optionally, fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a terminal roaming data processing apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 7, where the function V-UPF of the visitor location user plane applied to the terminal device includes:
a receiving module 801, configured to receive an updated session management policy sent by an visited session management function entity V-SMF, where the updated session management policy is an updated policy obtained by the V-SMF using any one of the first aspects;
a dividing module 802, configured to divide a session flow of the terminal device into a first session flow and a second session flow by using the updated session management policy;
A sending module 803, configured to send the first session stream to an edge server, so that the first session stream is provided with a low latency service by the edge server; and sending the second session stream to a home data network H-DN so that the H-DN and the terminal equipment perform session communication.
Optionally, the apparatus further includes:
the adding module is used for adding a first time and a second time for the data packet in the session stream according to the updated session management strategy, wherein the first time is used for indicating the time when the data packet is received by the V-UPF, and the second time is used for indicating the time when the data packet is sent by the V-UPF.
The foregoing apparatus is used for executing the method provided in the foregoing embodiment, and its implementation principle and technical effects are similar, and are not described herein again.
The above modules may be one or more integrated circuits configured to implement the above methods, for example: one or more application specific integrated circuits (Application Specific Integrated Circuit, abbreviated as ASIC), or one or more microprocessors (digital singnal processor, abbreviated as DSP), or one or more field programmable gate arrays (Field Programmable Gate Array, abbreviated as FPGA), or the like. For another example, when a module above is implemented in the form of a processing element scheduler code, the processing element may be a general-purpose processor, such as a central processing unit (Central Processing Unit, CPU) or other processor that may invoke the program code. For another example, the modules may be integrated together and implemented in the form of a system-on-a-chip (SOC).
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a network device according to an embodiment of the present application, where the network device includes: the transmitter 901, the receiver 902 and the processor 903, wherein the transmitter 901 and the receiver 902 are connected with the processor 903, and the processor 903 is used for cooperating with the transmitter 901 and the receiver 902 to execute the method.
Optionally, the present invention also provides a program product, such as a computer readable storage medium, comprising a program for performing the above-described method embodiments when being executed by a processor.
In the several embodiments provided by the present invention, it should be understood that the disclosed apparatus and method may be implemented in other manners. receiving a session update response sent by the H-SMF, wherein the session update response comprises: the updated session management policy;
and sending the updated session management policy to a visiting place user plane function V-UPF, so that after the V-UPF establishes a session for the terminal equipment according to the session information, dividing the session flow of the terminal equipment into a first session flow and a second session flow by adopting the updated session management policy, and sending the first session flow to an edge server, so that the edge server provides a low-delay service for the first session flow, and sending the second session flow to a home place H-DN, so that the H-DN communicates with the terminal equipment.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the V-UPF comprises: an upstream data classifier entity ULCL and a visited session anchor entity V-PSA, said sending said updated policy to a visited user plane function V-UPF, comprising:
and sending the updated policy to the ULCL so that the ULCL sends the updated policy to the V-PSA.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the method further comprises:

6. The method of claim 5, wherein before the responding to the request instruction of the home session management function H-SMF sends the updated session management policy to the home session management function H-SMF, the method further comprises:
Receiving a policy update request sent by the V-PCF;
generating the updated session management strategy according to the strategy updating request;
and sending a policy update response to the V-PCF, so that the V-PCF sends the policy update notification request to the V-SMF after receiving the policy update response.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein generating the updated session management policy based on the policy update request comprises:
and generating the updated session management strategy according to the service quality parameter and the service quality monitoring information in the strategy updating request.
