Example 1
Before describing further details of embodiments of the present application, an alternative apparatus for processing video that may be used to implement the principles of the present application will be described with reference to fig. 1. In its most basic configuration, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an apparatus for processing video according to an embodiment of the present application. For descriptive purposes, the architecture portrayed is only one example of a suitable environment and is not intended to suggest any limitation as to the scope of use or functionality of the application. Neither should the apparatus be interpreted as having any dependency or requirement relating to any one or combination of components illustrated in fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 1, the apparatus for processing video provided by the present application includes:
the processor comprises a plurality of zooming modules and at least one superposition module, the superposition module is connected with the zooming modules, the zooming modules are arranged to zoom multi-channel video sources to obtain a plurality of zoomed videos, and the superposition module is arranged to superpose the received zoomed videos to obtain superposed videos.
In an alternative, the apparatus for processing video may be a video splicer, or may also be a video switcher, or may also be a device such as a video processor for performing video processing; the processor may be any chip having a Digital processing function, such as a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an ARM processor (Advanced RISC Machines), and the like, which is not limited herein.
Specifically, a plurality of scaling modules and at least one superposition module are arranged on the processor. The scaling module may scale down or enlarge the multiple video streams into a unified video frame for subsequent processing. To improve the scaling quality, each scaling module may scale only one video source.
It should be noted that each overlay module is connected to all scaling modules. Because the superposition module is connected with all the zooming modules, the superposition module can superpose the zoomed videos from all the zooming modules and can also superpose the zoomed videos from all the zooming modules at will according to the actual requirements on video sources. In short, the superimposed video source is the video source received by the superimposing module.
And the output interface is connected with the processor and is set to output the superposed video.
In an alternative, the output Interface may be a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), a display Interface (DP), or the like.
It should be noted that, the setting of the output interface to output the superimposed video may be understood as follows: the video output by the output interface is obtained based on the superposed video. For example, assuming that the processor is an FPGA, after the video source is scaled and superimposed by the FPGA, the video source needs to be encoded by an encoding chip to obtain an encoded video, and the output interface outputs the encoded video.
Taking a video splicer as an example, in order to schedule more video sources as much as possible, a plurality of scaling modules and an overlapping module are arranged on a processor of the video splicer. Each zooming module zooms one path of video source, and the zooming modules zoom multiple paths of video sources one to one, so that the multiple paths of video sources are reduced or enlarged into zoomed videos with uniform formats. The superposition module is connected with all the zooming modules, so that part or all of the zoomed videos can be superposed, and the zoomed videos output by the zooming modules are specifically superposed and determined by the zoomed videos received by the superposition module. The superposed video is output by an output interface and then transmitted to display equipment.
Compared with the prior art, the superposition module can superpose and zoom videos according to the user needs, the purpose of scheduling any video source is achieved, and layer expansion on the display device is achieved. If more image layers need to be displayed, only more devices for processing video according to the embodiments of the present application need to be accessed according to actual requirements. It is easy to notice that the zooming module and the superposition module can be integrated in an independent processor, so that a master control chip with richer resources in the video processing equipment is prevented from being replaced, and flexible configuration of the video source is realized.
In an embodiment of the present application, an apparatus for processing video includes: the processor comprises a plurality of zooming modules and at least one superposition module, the superposition module is connected with the zooming modules, the zooming modules are used for zooming the multi-channel video source to obtain a plurality of zoomed videos, and the superposition module is used for superposing the received zoomed videos to obtain superposed videos; and the output interface is connected with the processor and is set to output the superposed video. Compared with the prior art, the superposition module is connected with the zooming modules, any video source is dispatched through the superposition module, the technical problems that in the prior art, the video processing equipment is fixed in the grouping mode of the video source, the video output card cannot output any video source, and resource dispatching is limited are solved, the purpose of flexibly dispatching the video source is achieved, and more diversified video effects are presented.
The above-described components of this embodiment are further described below.
Optionally, if the number of the output interfaces is multiple, the number of the overlay modules is multiple, and the number of the output interfaces is equal to the number of the overlay modules, where each output interface corresponds to one overlay module, and the output interfaces are configured to output the overlaid video overlaid by the corresponding overlay modules.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of an apparatus for processing video with two output interfaces. In the connection relationship shown in fig. 2, each output interface corresponds to one overlay module. Supposing that 16 zooming modules are provided, the superposition module A is connected with the output interface A, the superposition module B is connected with the output interface B, and although the 16 zooming modules are connected with each superposition module, each superposition module only superposes the received zoomed video, so that the output interface A can output the superposed video A superposed by the superposition module A, and the output interface B can output the superposed video B superposed by the superposition module B. It should be noted that, if the overlay module a receives an instruction to overlay a certain route of zoomed video, the route of zoomed video cannot be overlaid by the overlay module B at the same time, and each route of zoomed video can only be overlaid by one overlay module and cannot be overlaid by two overlay modules at the same time.
Optionally, in the video switcher, the multiple video sources include multiple playing video sources and multiple previewing video sources, the multiple zooming modules include multiple playing zooming modules and multiple previewing zooming modules, the superimposing module includes a playing superimposing module and a previewing superimposing module, each playing superimposing module is connected with the multiple playing zooming modules, and each previewing superimposing module is connected with the multiple previewing zooming modules.
In an alternative, the playing video source may be a video for playing, and the previewing video source may be a video for previewing. Since the main function of the video switcher is to monitor the preview video and the play video to switch the preview video to the currently played video, the video sources include a play video source for play and a preview video source for preview.
In the video switcher, a plurality of playing zooming modules are arranged to zoom a plurality of playing video sources to obtain a plurality of playing zooming videos, and a playing overlapping module is arranged to overlap the received playing zooming videos to obtain overlapped playing videos.
In an alternative, the play-after-overlay video (PGM) may be a video to be played on a display device.
In the video switcher, a plurality of preview zooming modules are arranged to zoom a plurality of preview video sources to obtain a plurality of preview zoomed videos, and a preview overlapping module is arranged to overlap the received preview zoomed videos to obtain the overlapped preview videos.
In an alternative, the above-mentioned superimposed Preview Video (PVW) may be a video to be previewed on the monitoring device.
It should be noted that the playing and superimposing module may superimpose the received playing and zooming video, and the preview and superimposing module may superimpose the received previewing and zooming video, so as to achieve the effects of previewing and playing simultaneously. However, if the scaled video output by the scaling module is used for preview, it cannot be used for play at the same time, and if the scaled video output by the scaling module is used for play, it cannot be used for preview at the same time.
Optionally, since the video splicer may not have a preview function, only one overlay module may be needed to schedule any zoomed video to be played. The video switcher adds preview content so at least two overlay modules are required. After the playing video source and the preview video source are allocated, the playing superposition module can freely schedule to play part or all of the video sources, and the preview superposition module can freely schedule to preview part or all of the video sources.
In the video switcher, an output interface is set to output the overlapped playing video or the overlapped previewing video.
The PVW is mainly used with the PGM, because in a studio, the PGM actually played needs to be previewed before being provided on a monitoring device, and is switched to the PGM only when meeting the playing requirement, and is output through an output interface. Therefore, the output interface can only output one video.
In an alternative, the superimposed preview video and the superimposed play video may be switched to preview or play through a mix switching module, that is, the mix switching module may select the superimposed preview video to play or the superimposed play video to play, and the mix switching module may be disposed in the processor.
For example, a playing video after being superimposed is displayed on the display device, a previewing video after being superimposed is displayed on the monitoring device, and if the previewing video after being superimposed meets the playing condition, the playing video is immediately switched to the previewing video and displayed on the display device. At this time, the superimposed preview video is converted into the play video, and the previously superimposed play video is converted into the preview video.
Note that the superimposed preview video may be displayed on the console. Except that the preview video displayed on the console is in an edited state. In order to see a more visual video effect, the previewed video after being overlaid can be monitored through a pre-monitoring card. Of course, the pre-monitor card may monitor all video sources, PGM and PVW.
Optionally, the apparatus may further include: the pre-monitoring card is respectively connected with the output ends of the multi-path video sources and the output end of the superposition module and is set to monitor at least one of the following video data: the video source, the playing video after the superposition and the previewing video after the superposition.
Because the output interface can only output one path of video data, the scheme of the embodiment can monitor more video data through the pre-monitoring card. Specifically, the pre-monitoring card can be connected with the output ends of the multi-channel video sources and the output end of the superposition module, so that the original multi-channel video sources, the superposed videos superposed by the superposition module and the superposed previewed videos can be displayed on the pre-monitoring card, the working personnel can conveniently check each video data, and the working personnel can master various video pictures.
Optionally, if the number of the output interfaces is multiple, the number of the playing and superimposing modules is multiple, the number of the preview and superimposing modules is multiple, and the number of the output interfaces, the number of the playing and superimposing modules, and the number of the preview and superimposing modules are equal, where each output interface corresponds to one playing and superimposing module and one preview and superimposing module, and the output interfaces are configured to output the superimposed playing video superimposed by the corresponding playing and superimposing module or the superimposed preview video superimposed by the corresponding preview and superimposing module.
In the above scheme, each output interface corresponds to one playing and overlapping module and one preview and overlapping module. For example, the playing and superimposing module a and the preview and superimposing module a are connected to the output interface a, and the playing and superimposing module B and the preview and superimposing module B are connected to the output interface B, so that the output interface a can output the playing video a superimposed by the playing and superimposing module a or the previewing video a superimposed by the preview and superimposing module a, and the output interface B can output the playing video B superimposed by the playing and superimposing module B or the previewing video B superimposed by the preview and superimposing module B. As for the specific video source distribution, the scheduling is carried out by the staff, and the grouping limitation of the video sources is avoided. Therefore, multiple groups of overlapped preview videos and overlapped play videos can be switched simultaneously to adapt to complex scenes in which multiple display devices work simultaneously.
Figure 3 shows a schematic diagram of an alternative apparatus for processing video. As shown in fig. 2, there are 8 scaling modules in the video output card, each scaling module scales one video source, and the overlay module is connected to each scaling module. In order to avoid confusion caused by too many lines, only the input-output relationship between the scaled video and the overlay module in the current overlay mode is shown in the figure. The video source 1-4 is used for playing, the zooming module 1-4 is a playing zooming module, the overlaying module 1 is a playing overlaying module, the video source 5-8 is used for previewing, the zooming module 5-8 is a previewing zooming module, and the overlaying module 2 is a previewing overlaying module. When the superposition module receives which zoomed video, the zoomed video is superposed, otherwise, the zoomed video is not superposed. In this way, each overlay module can freely overlay the scaled videos of all the scaling modules connected with the overlay module, and the purpose of randomly scheduling the output layers is achieved. In fig. 3, the overlay module 1 can freely schedule the scaled video sources 1-4, and the overlay module 2 can freely schedule the scaled video sources 5-8. The output interface outputs the overlaid scaled video 1-4 or the overlaid scaled video 5-8. In addition, a single output card can also support two output interfaces, all video sources can be dispatched to the enabled output interfaces under the condition that only one output interface is enabled, and the specific interface for scaling the video distribution can be dispatched by a worker according to actual requirements under the condition that a plurality of output interfaces are enabled, so that the grouping limitation of the video sources is completely avoided.
Example 2
Under the apparatus for processing video provided in embodiment 1, the present embodiment provides a system for processing video. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a system for processing video according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, the system includes:
at least one first video output card, every first video output card includes first treater, and first treater includes a plurality of first modules of zooming and at least one first stack module, and wherein, first stack module all is connected with a plurality of first modules of zooming, and a plurality of first modules of zooming set up to zoom to handle to multichannel first video source and obtain a plurality of first videos of zooming, and first stack module sets up to stack the first video of zooming that receives, obtains first post stack video.
In an alternative, the system for processing video may be a video splicer or a video switcher; the first video output card can be independent of video processing equipment, and the video output card can integrate functions of zooming video, superposing video, decoding, filtering, real-time transmission and the like and support video streams of various quality levels; the first processor may be any chip with a digital processing function, such as an FPGA, a DSP, an ARM, and the like, which is not limited herein.
Specifically, the first processor is provided with a plurality of first scaling modules and at least one first superposition module. The first scaling module may scale down or up the multiple video streams into a unified video frame for subsequent processing. In order to improve the scaling quality, each first scaling module may scale only one video source.
It should be noted that each first superimposing module is connected to all first scaling modules. Because the first superimposing module is connected with all the first scaling modules, the first superimposing module can superimpose the first scaled videos from all the first scaling modules, and can also arbitrarily superimpose the first scaled videos from all the first scaling modules according to the actual requirement on the first video source. In summary, the superimposed video source is the first video source received by the first superimposing module.
The second video output card comprises a second processor and at least one output interface, wherein the second processor is connected with the output interface, the second processor comprises a plurality of second zooming modules and at least one second overlapping module, the second overlapping module is connected with the second zooming modules, and the second zooming modules are arranged to zoom the second video sources to obtain a plurality of second zoomed videos.
It should be understood that the first video source and the second video source in the present application may be the same video source or different video sources.
In an alternative, the detailed description of the second video output card may refer to the description of the first video output card, and is not repeated herein for brevity.
The output Interface may be a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), a display Interface (DP), or the like.
Specifically, the second processor is provided with a plurality of second scaling modules and at least one second superposition module. The second scaling module may scale down or up the multiple video streams into a unified video frame for subsequent processing. In order to improve the scaling quality, each second scaling module may scale only one video source.
It should be noted that the first video output card and the second video output card may have the same structure. That is, the first video output card may also include an output interface, but not be used. Thus, flexible configuration of resources can be more adapted.
The exchanger is connected with each first video output card and each second video output card and is used for transmitting the first superposed video to the second video output card; the second superposition module is used for superposing the received first superposed video and the received second zoomed video to obtain a second superposed video, and the output interface is used for outputting the second superposed video.
In one alternative, the switch may employ a cross-point (CrossPoint) chip. The CrossPoint chip supports exchange backup of video data, and the damage of local signals does not influence the normal operation of other parts.
In the above scheme, the switch may transmit video data between the first video output card and the second video output card to expand the number of video sources.
It should be noted that each second superimposing module is connected to all second scaling modules. The second scaling module 1 in fig. 4 is actually connected to the second overlay module, but since the video after the first overlay occupies one input channel of the second overlay module, the second overlay module will receive one less path of the second scaled video. Therefore, the second overlaying module can overlay the second zoomed videos from all the second zooming modules, and can also arbitrarily overlay the second zoomed videos from all the second zooming modules according to the actual requirements on the second video source. In short, the superimposed video source is the video source received by the second superimposing module. And the received video source comprises a second zoomed video and a first superposed video.
In an alternative embodiment, a plurality of first video output cards, a second video output card, are cascaded through the switch. The overlapped first overlapped video of the first video output card is not displayed, but is mapped to an input channel of a first overlapping module of the second first video output card through the exchanger to be used as a first video input source, and is overlapped with a plurality of first zoomed videos which are overlapped by the second first video output card, so that the purpose of expanding the image layer is achieved. Finally, the exchanger transmits the first superposed video output by the last first video output card to a second superposition module of a second video output card, superposes the first superposed video with the second zoomed video to obtain a final second superposed video, and then outputs the second superposed video through the output interface.
For example, in the architecture depicted in fig. 5, two first video output cards and one second video output card are included. Each output card has 8 scaling modules and 1 superposition module. The exchanger transmits the first superposed video 1 comprising 8 image layers output by the first video output card 1 to the superposition module of the first video output card 2. Because the first superimposed video 1 occupies one channel of the superimposing module of the first video output card 2, the superimposing module of the first video output card 2 can superimpose 7 zoomed videos in addition to the first superimposed video 1, and thus the first superimposed video 2 includes 13 layers. And the exchanger transmits the first superposed video 2 to a superposition module of a second video output card. Because the first superimposed video 2 occupies one channel of the second video output card superimposing module, the superimposing module of the second video output card can superimpose 7 paths of zoomed videos in addition to the first superimposed video 2, and therefore, the second superimposed video totally comprises 19 image layers. And finally, outputting the second superposed video through an output interface. Obviously, the addition of a switch greatly expands the number of layers that can be displayed.
Compared with the prior art, the first superposition module is connected with the first zooming modules, the second superposition module is connected with the second zooming modules, any first zooming video source output by the first zooming modules connected with the first superposition module is dispatched through the first superposition module, any second zooming video source output by the second zooming modules connected with the second superposition module is dispatched through the second superposition module, the number of the video sources is expanded by utilizing the exchanger, the problem that the video output card cannot output any video source due to the fixed grouping mode of the video processing equipment to the video sources in the prior art is solved, the technical problem that the resource dispatching limitation is more is solved, the aim of flexible dispatching is fulfilled, and more diversified video effects of the video sources are presented.
The above steps of this embodiment are further explained below.

Specifically, the second video output card has output interfaces, and each output interface corresponds to one second overlay module. For example, the second overlay module a is connected to the output interface a, the second overlay module B is connected to the output interface B, the output interface a can preview or play the second overlaid video a output by the second overlay module a, and the output interface B can preview or play the second overlaid video B output by the second overlay module B, so that multiple groups of preview videos and/or play videos can be monitored simultaneously to adapt to a scene where multiple display devices work simultaneously.

Fig. 7 shows a schematic diagram of a system for processing video configured in accordance with the above-described embodiments. As shown in fig. 7, the system includes a first video output card and a second video output card, where there are two first video output cards, and the overlay module of the first video output card 1 supports overlaying all 8 image layers, and outputs an overlaid PGM1 image. The superposition module of the first video output card 2 supports the superposition of all 8 layers, and outputs the superposed PVW1 image. The PGM1 and the PVW1 can be transmitted to a second video output card through an exchanger, the second video output card can further superimpose 3 layers on the basis of the superimposed PGM1 or PVW1, and the PGM2 or PVW2 which is finally presented supports 11 layers.
