The book information display method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can be applied to a scene of performing catalog display of an electronic book in a book application program. The method may be performed by a book information display apparatus, which may be implemented by software and/or hardware, and may be integrated in an electronic device installed with a book-like application. Among others, the electronic devices may include, but are not limited to, devices such as smart phones, personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), tablet PCs (Tablet PCs), portable Multimedia Players (PMPs), wearable devices, notebook or desktop computers, and the like.
Fig. 1 shows a flow chart of a book information display method provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the book information display method may include the steps of:
and S110, responding to the first trigger operation, and displaying a directory page.
The first trigger operation is an interactive trigger operation for triggering the display of the book catalog. The trigger operation may be, for example, a contact-type interactive operation such as a click or a touch, or a non-contact-type interactive operation such as a voice control or an eye movement control. The catalog page is a page at least for showing catalog information of books.
Specifically, the user may perform a first trigger operation on a book application program displayed on the electronic device. Therefore, after the electronic equipment detects the first trigger operation, the catalog page of the book can be displayed.
In an example, the first trigger operation is to trigger a "directory" functionality control displayed in the reading page. Referring to fig. 2, the electronic device 200 shows a reading page 210 corresponding to the content of a chapter of a book. When the user performs a trigger operation on any position of the reading page 210, the electronic device 200 displays a function control at least including a "directory" function in a peripheral region (e.g., the bottom region 220) of the reading page 210. After the user performs the trigger operation on the "directory" function control, the electronic device 200 displays the directory page based on the reading page 210.
In another example, the first triggering operation is performing a prescribed gesture operation in reading a page. Referring to fig. 2, the electronic device 200 shows a reading page 210. When the user performs an upward swipe gesture on the reading page 210, the electronic device 200 displays the directory page on the basis of the reading page 210.
In yet another example, the electronic device may directly display the catalog page when the book is reopened so that the user reviews the book content through the catalog. That is, when the electronic device detects a triggering operation for reopening the book, the catalog page of the book is displayed.
In some embodiments, S110 comprises: and responding to the first trigger operation, and displaying the directory page in the area width of the screen visible area.
Wherein, the direction of the area width and the horizontal direction form a preset acute angle. The preset acute angle is a preset angle value recognized by the rotation of the screen of the device.
Specifically, the directory page in the related art is usually displayed on the reading page in a sidebar style, and the page width thereof is, for example, 2/3 of the area width of the visible area of the device screen. The display space of the directory page is more limited, so that the contents with long chapter titles in the directory information of the book cannot be completely displayed, and the amount of information displayed on the directory page is less. Based on this, in the present embodiment, the page width of the directory page is extended to the region width. Then, the electronic device displays the catalog page at a page width that is the width of the area of the viewable area of the screen upon detecting the first trigger operation.
As shown in fig. 3, the electronic device 300 displays a directory page 320 having a page width identical to a page width of a reading page on the basis of the reading page 310. Therefore, the display space of the catalog page can be increased to a certain extent, so that more book catalog information is displayed, and the content of the information displayed on the catalog page is increased to a certain extent.
And S120, displaying a catalog control and a book overview control in a first area of the catalog page, and displaying book catalog information corresponding to the catalog control in a second area of the catalog page.
The first area and the second area are two display sub-areas determined by dividing the display area of the catalog page. The catalog control is an interactive control in the catalog page for controlling the display of book catalog information. The book catalog information is information related to a catalog, and may include at least one of a chapter number of the book, a chapter title, a progress of reading/listening to the book by the chapter, a keyword corresponding to the chapter, and the like, for example. The book overview control is an interactive control in the catalog page for controlling the display of the book overview information. The book overview information is information related to a book and introduces contents contained in the book from different angles. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the book overview information is used to aggregate book-related information other than book catalog information.
Specifically, in order to enable the catalog page to display more book-related information, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of function controls and display contents corresponding to the function controls are set in the catalog page. In order to facilitate clear display of the information, the directory page can be divided into a first area and a second area, the first area is used for displaying the plurality of function controls, and the second area is used for displaying the display content linked with any one of the function controls.
In a specific implementation, the plurality of functional controls at least include a catalog control and a book overview control. Then, the electronic device displays the catalog control and the book overview control in the first area when the catalog page is displayed. Moreover, since the user triggers the directory function, the book directory information is displayed by default when the electronic device starts to display the directory page. In this way, after the electronic device determines to display the catalog page, the electronic device directly displays the catalog control in the selected style in the first area of the catalog page, and displays the book overview control in the unselected style, so as to show the user that the display content of the second area corresponds to the catalog control, and displays the book catalog information corresponding to the catalog control in the second area in a linkage manner.
With continued reference to FIG. 3, the electronic device 300 displays at least a "catalog" control and an "overview" control in a first region 321 of the catalog page 320, and displays the "catalog" control in a bold selected style and the "overview" control in an un-bold unselected style. Meanwhile, the electronic device 300 displays book catalog information corresponding to the selected "catalog" control in a second area 322 of the catalog page 320. The book catalog information includes chapter numbers, chapter titles, and reading progress of unread chapters. Also, the electronic apparatus 300 displays the chapter list information of the read chapter that has been read/read in gray non-bolded font, displays the chapter list information of the current chapter that is being read in black bold font, and displays the chapter list information of the unread chapter that has not started to be read in black non-bolded font.
And S130, responding to a second trigger operation on the directory page, and displaying the book overview information corresponding to the book overview control in a second area.
The second trigger operation is an interactive trigger operation for triggering display of display content corresponding to the book overview control. The book overview information is used to aggregate book-related information in addition to book catalog information.
Specifically, the user may perform a second trigger operation on the catalog page in order to view the book overview information outside of the book catalog. For example, a user performs a trigger operation, such as clicking, touching, etc., on a book overview control in a first region of a catalog page; for another example, the user performs a sliding operation in a preset direction on the second area of the directory page, and the like. The preset direction is opposite to the direction of the book overview control in the catalog control. For example, the "overview" control in FIG. 3 is to the right of the "catalog" control, then the preset direction is to the left. In this way, the electronic device may detect the second trigger operation. Then, in response to the second trigger operation, the electronic device switches the display content in the second area from the book catalog information to the book overview information.
The electronic device may display the catalog control in the unselected style and the book overview control in the selected style in the first region of the catalog page, and display the book overview information corresponding to the book overview control in a linked manner in the second region.
Continuing to refer to fig. 3, as described above, when the user performs a click operation on the "overview" control in the first region 321 or performs a leftward sliding operation on the second region 322, the electronic device 300 may perform switching of the display style of each function control and switching of the display content in the second region, and the display effect after switching may be as shown in fig. 4.
As shown in fig. 4, the electronic device 400 displays a catalog page 420 based on reading the page 410. In a first region 421 of the catalog page 420, the "overview" control is displayed in a selected style, while the "catalog" control is displayed in at least an unselected style. Also, book summary information corresponding to the "summary" control is displayed in a second area 422 of the catalog page 420.
In some embodiments, the book overview information includes at least one of book profile, comment information, book popularity information, book category, and book update information.
The book summary is information for briefly introducing book contents, and may be a book summary provided by a book author, a book summary obtained by extracting the book contents by a book related platform, a book summary obtained by the book related platform according to various comment information corresponding to a book, or the like.
The comment information is information for evaluating and discussing information related to the book content from different perspectives. The comment information may be comment information for the entire book or comment information for one or several chapters. Illustratively, the comment information includes at least one of a short comment on the content of the book, a long comment on the content of the book, discussion content corresponding to the book, secondary creation content corresponding to the book, and a congener text corresponding to the book. The short comment and/or the long comment may be all the contents of the comment, may be highlight comment contents extracted according to the importance degree of the comment, may be popular comment contents extracted according to the interactive data of the comment, or the like. The discussion content is content in a discussion topic circle developed for characters/plots/scenes/events and the like in the book. The secondarily authored contents and the same-person characters are re-authored contents with respect to characters/plots/scenes/events, etc. in the book, respectively.
The book popularity information is information for representing popularity of the book to the user, and may be, for example, scores of the books by a plurality of users, a recommended ranking of a certain book among a plurality of books, a recommended number of people who recommend reading the book, a number of people who read the book, and the like.
The book category is a classification category to which the book belongs. A book may determine at least one book category from different classification dimensions. The book update information is related information representing the update condition of the consecutive books, and may be, for example, the number of updated words or chapters within a preset time (e.g., 7 days), the update frequency of how often the books are updated, whether the books are updated or not relative to the last reading of the user, and the like.
Specifically, in order to display more book information, the exposure rate of the book related information is further improved, so that the efficiency and convenience of the user for acquiring the book related information are further improved, and various book related information can be aggregated in the book overview information. In this embodiment, at least one or more of book introduction, comment information, book popularity information, book category, and book update information may be aggregated in the book overview information.
With continued reference to fig. 4, the electronic device 400 may display a book rating 4221 and a number of readers 4222 in the book popularity information, an update word number 4223 within 7 days in the book update information, a book profile 4224, a book category 4225, and comment information 4226 including a short/long rating, a secondary creative content, a same-person, a discussion topic circle, etc. of the user in the second area 422 of the catalog page 420.
In the book information display method provided by each of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in response to a first trigger operation, a catalog page is displayed, a catalog control and a book overview control are displayed in a first region of the catalog page, and book catalog information corresponding to the catalog control is displayed in a second region of the catalog page; and in response to a second trigger operation on the catalog page, displaying book overview information corresponding to the book overview control and aggregating book-related information except the book catalog information in a second area; the book overview control and the corresponding book overview information are displayed in the directory page in a linkage mode, so that the directory information and the book overview information can be displayed in the directory page, the information content of the directory page is improved, the exposure rate of the related information of the book is improved, a user can quickly and efficiently know the related information of the book, the user is better assisted to judge whether (continue) reading the book, the user is better helped to review the book content, and the user experience is improved.
In some embodiments, in the case where the book overview information includes comment information, the book overview information and the book bibliographic information are displayed in a linked manner, that is, the displayed comment information corresponds to chapters located in the book bibliographic information. Fig. 5 is a schematic view illustrating a detailed flow of S130 in the book information display method illustrated in fig. 1. Referring to fig. 5, S130 "displaying book summary information corresponding to the book summary control in the second region" includes:
s131, determining target chapters in the book catalogue information.
The target chapter is a chapter in the book, which may be a current chapter being read before the user starts the catalog page, at least one chapter adjacent to, before or after the current chapter, or the current chapter and a chapter adjacent to the current chapter.
Specifically, if a plurality of kinds of information are aggregated in the book overview information, the book overview information corresponding to the target chapter may be displayed in the second region in a linked manner in the present embodiment, instead of the book overview information of the entire book, in consideration of the closeness of association between the book overview information and the target chapter, the display space of the second region of the catalog page, and the like. For example, for comment information with a larger information amount, only comment information corresponding to the target chapter may be displayed in the second area. Based on the method, the electronic equipment can determine the target chapter according to the book catalogue information and the reading progress of the user.
In an example, in a case where the target section includes the current section, S131 includes: and determining the chapter read last time as the current chapter. In this example, the electronic device may determine, as the current chapter, a chapter corresponding to a reading progress of the last reading recorded before the user triggers display of the catalog page. Therefore, the relevance between the subsequently displayed book overview information and the book content recently read by the user can be improved, so that the user can more quickly review the book content once read according to the book overview information, and the user can deepen the understanding and interest of the book content once read.
In another example, in the case where the target section includes the current section, S131 includes: the hot chapter in the book is determined as the current chapter. In this example, if the reading progress of the user is small, or the user has no reading progress due to belonging to a new user, or the user has not entered a catalog page from a reading page, etc., the electronic device cannot determine an appropriate current chapter according to the reading progress of the last reading. At this time, in order to increase the interest level of the user in the book, and thus increase the probability that the book is read, the electronic device may determine a popular chapter in the book that is more popular with the historical users as the current chapter.
S132, extracting target comment information corresponding to the target chapter from the comment information, and displaying the target comment information corresponding to the book overview control in the second area.
Specifically, the electronic device extracts information according to the target chapter from all comment information corresponding to the book to obtain target comment information corresponding to the target chapter. Then, the extracted target comment information is displayed in the second area.
In some embodiments, after S110, the book information display method further includes: at least one information expansion control is further displayed in the first area; and responding to a third triggering operation of any information expansion control, and displaying the expansion information content corresponding to the triggered information expansion control in the second area.
The information expansion control is a function expansion control used for triggering display of more book related information. The third trigger operation is an interactive trigger operation for triggering display content corresponding to the display information expansion control. The extended information content is display content linked with the information extension control, and is also related information for exposing the book content from a certain angle.
Specifically, in order to further improve the exposure rate of the book content and the convenience of the user for acquiring the book related information, in this embodiment, the electronic device may continuously display at least one information control in the first area of the catalog page, in addition to the catalog control and the book overview control. Then, if the user performs a third triggering operation on any information expansion control, for example, the user clicks a certain information expansion control or the user performs a sliding operation in a certain direction on the second area, the electronic device displays the triggered information expansion control in a selected style and displays the remaining controls except the triggered information expansion control in an unselected style in the first area of the catalog page in response to the detected third triggering operation. The remaining controls include at least a catalog control and a book overview control. If the number of information expansion controls is greater than or equal to 2, then the remaining controls also include information expansion controls that are not triggered. And simultaneously, the electronic equipment displays the expanded information content corresponding to the triggered information expansion control in a linkage manner in a second area of the directory page.
In some embodiments, the information expansion control comprises a note control and the expanded information content comprises note content. The note content includes at least one of annotation notes, mark notes, bookmarks, etc. of the book content by the current user/other users.
With continued reference to FIG. 3, the electronic device 300 may also display a "note" control in the first region 321. The user may click on the "note" control, or perform a third trigger operation to trigger the display of note content corresponding to the "note" control in the second area 322.
