The annular rim has a certain thickness (i.e. in the axial direction of the fixing sleeve 310) for increasing the strength, and the sleeve rim 320 is provided with a mounting hole 321 in the thickness direction for receiving and passing the rivet-screw coupling.
It should be noted that, in another alternative, the sleeve edge 320 may also adopt side lugs, and the number of the side lugs is set according to the number of the riveting-screwing couplings. If there are two rivet-thread couplings, a pair of opposite and symmetrically arranged side lugs is provided. If there are three or more riveting-screw connecting pieces, a corresponding number of side lugs are arranged, and the side lugs are uniformly distributed on the circumference of the outer wall of the fixing sleeve 310. The mounting hole 321 is formed on the side ear, and besides the mounting hole 321 is used for accommodating the riveting-screwing connector, a clamping groove, which is a half of the mounting hole 321, may be used, and details thereof are not described herein.
In the daily use process of the faucet 100, dirty water may flow onto the table top 200 inevitably, so that the dirty water may infiltrate into the gap between the sleeve edge 320 and the table top 200 at a certain probability, which is inconvenient to clean, is easy to breed bacteria, and may infiltrate into the lower part of the table top 200 even through the gap.
In order to avoid this, a first sealing sleeve 610 is provided between the sleeve rim 320 and the table top 200, and the first sealing sleeve 610 between the sleeve rim 320 and the table top 200 can be compressed when the sleeve rim 320 is fastened to the table top 200 by riveting-screwing, so that the waterproof and waterproof effect is achieved.
Further, in order to prevent the first sealing sleeve 610 from being dislocated, a mounting groove 322 for accommodating the first sealing sleeve 610 is provided at the bottom surface of the sleeve rim 320, and the thickness of the first sealing sleeve 610 is slightly greater than the depth of the mounting groove 322. So that the first sealing boot 610 is partially protruded from the groove after being fitted into the mounting groove 322, so that the sealing effect is increased by the deformation pressure of the first sealing boot 610 after being compressed.
To enhance aesthetics and cleanliness, mounting hole 321 and the rivet-threaded coupling located therein are prevented from becoming exposed and water is also prevented from entering mounting hole 321. The connector assembly in this embodiment further includes an annular decorative cover 330. The decorative cover 330 is sleeved outside the connecting sleeve 400 and covers the surface of the sleeve edge 320 to prevent the mounting hole 321 from being exposed.
Specifically, an external thread is provided on the sidewall of the sleeve rim 320, the edge of the decorative cover 330 has a lower rim, and an internal thread is provided on the inner wall of the lower rim, so that the decorative cover 330 can be screwed on the sleeve rim 320.
In this embodiment, the connection sleeve 400 is vertically disposed, and the upper end thereof is fastened to the faucet 100 by a screw. The screw thread is adopted for fixing, so that the fixing is simple and reliable. Specifically, an inner thread is formed on an inner wall of the bottom of the water tap 100, an outer thread is formed on an outer wall of the upper end of the connection sleeve 400, the diameter of the inner wall of the water tap 100 is larger than that of the outer wall of the connection sleeve 400, and when the water tap is installed, the upper end of the connection sleeve 400 is inserted into the inner wall of the bottom of the water tap 100 and then screwed. So designed, make the gap between faucet 100 and adapter sleeve 400 open and face downwards, can prevent the water from entering.
It should be noted that, in another alternative embodiment, the connection sleeve 400 may be sleeved outside the bottom of the faucet 100, and both are in an interference fit manner, which is not described in detail herein.
In order to reduce the possibility of loosening the connection between the bottom of the faucet 100 and the connection sleeve 400 during long-term use of the faucet 100, a sealing nut 800 for being sleeved on the upper end of the connection sleeve 400 is further included in this embodiment. The reliability of the connection of the faucet 100 and the coupling sleeve 400 is increased by the cooperation of the sealing nut 800.
Further, a downward concave annular step is provided on the upper end surface of the sealing nut 800, and the diameter of the annular step is the same as the diameter of the outer wall of the bottom of the water faucet 100, so that the bottom of the water faucet 100 can fall on the annular step for positioning.
In order to prevent water from entering the gap between the connection sleeve 400 and the fixing sleeve 310, the connection assembly in this embodiment further comprises a second sealing ring 620 for being placed between the sealing nut 800 and the sleeve rim 320.
