Abstract
The invention provides a remote EPG (electronic program guide) method for directionally controlling and monitoring a set-top box, which comprises the steps of establishing network connection between a control terminal and a cloud server and between the cloud server and the set-top box, sending a key value signal of a keyboard of a computer end, a key value signal of a simulation button of a mobile end UI (user interface) and controlled ID (identity) information of the set-top box to the cloud server, receiving the control signal by the cloud server, transmitting the control signal to the set-top box corresponding to the ID in real time, executing the operation response of the control terminal to the set-top box after the set-top box receives the corresponding control signal, collecting a video stream through an HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) on a picture of the set-top box, transmitting the video stream to the cloud server, and watching the change of the EPG in real time through the playing of the terminal to monitor the set-top box. The invention reduces network transmission nodes and ensures more stable transmission information; the set top boxes can be accurately controlled, so that the problem that IPTV monitoring personnel realize flexible control over a plurality of set top boxes is solved, and a household user can respectively control each set top box in a directional mode; the system can be flexibly configured on a PC and mobile equipment, and monitoring and inspection can be carried out only in a place with a network.

Technical Field

Background
The existing infrared remote control transmits a remote control command by using near infrared light, and the wavelength is 0.76 um-1.5 um. The infrared remote control system is characterized in that near infrared is used as a remote control light source, the distance is generally limited within 10 meters, in addition, the infrared remote control system is used based on infrared light, the technology of the Internet of things is used for carrying out remote signal transmission, signals are transmitted to an infrared equipment block, and finally the signals are converted into remote control instructions to control the set top box. Although the problem of remote control is solved, the number of devices for remote control is relatively large, so that the implementation cost is increased, a computer, a relay network and a remote infrared control module box remote device are required to be used, network nodes are increased, meanwhile, the complexity of signal transmission is increased, and other set top boxes in the influence range exist.
At present, many users have more than one set top box in their homes, and for IPTV monitoring departments, multiple set top boxes need to be displayed and controlled at the same time, and the service, recommendation location, poster, and live broadcast signal of the set top box need to be monitored by controlling the set top boxes one-to-one and accurately controlling multiple set top boxes together according to different scenes.

(2) writing a control panel UI simulation remote controller panel, acquiring a simulation remote controller, matching functions of a simulation remote controller click key and a remote controller key, and matching each click key value of the simulation remote controller with a set-top box EPG key value;
(3) establishing connection between a control terminal and a cloud server and network connection between the cloud server and a set top box;
(4) sending a key value signal of a keyboard, a key value signal of a simulated remote controller key and ID information of a controlled set-top box to a cloud server, and the cloud server acquiring a control signal and transmitting the control signal to the set-top box corresponding to the ID in real time;
(5) after receiving the corresponding control signal, the set top box corresponding to the ID executes a corresponding remote controller key operation response, and a picture of the set top box is transmitted to the cloud server by acquiring a video stream through the HDMI;
(6) and the control terminal plays the video stream acquired by the cloud server through the player.
In the step (1), the upper, lower, left and right keys of the keyboard correspond to the upper, lower, left and right moving keys of the set-top box respectively, the space key of the keyboard corresponds to the return key of the set-top box, and the number keys of the keyboard correspond to the number keys of the set-top box.
