The invention discloses a coating method of a water-based self-adhesive polyesterimide enameled wire, which comprises the steps of adding pure water into diluted self-adhesive paint emulsion within a required particle size range to dilute the emulsion to a specified viscosity and surface tension, then painting the enameled wire in a painting room to form a self-adhesive coating layer, and then feeding the enameled wire into an oven to be rapidly heated by hot air. The self-adhesive coating layer is bonded to form a water-based self-adhesive layer with a smooth surface and good elasticity after pure water is heated and evaporated, and then painting and heating bonding are repeatedly carried out to obtain the water-based self-adhesive polyesterimide enameled wire.
