What has been described herein is merely a preferred embodiment according to the present invention, and other ways of implementing the invention will occur to those skilled in the art on the basis of the preferred embodiment, and are intended to fall within the scope of the invention as well.
The present invention provides a sofa bed, with figures 1-63 showing at least part of the structure according to some preferred embodiments of the invention. It should be noted that the "lateral direction" and the "longitudinal direction" referred to in the present invention are two directions perpendicular to each other, which are opposite directions with respect to a rectangle formed by the seat portion, the backrest portion, and even the unit frame, the lateral direction being indicated by X in the drawings, for example, and the longitudinal direction being indicated by Y in the drawings, for example. The height direction referred to herein is the absolute vertical direction, which is shown by Z in the figures.
Figures 1-63 illustrate some preferred embodiments according to the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the sofa bed of the present preferred embodiment includes a main body frame 100, and the main body frame 100 includes a seat portion 4, a backrest portion 3, a seat portion connecting rod 41, a backrest portion connecting rod 31, and two armrest frames 2. The seat portion 4 and the backrest portion 3 are each formed in a rectangular structure, and may have a rectangular frame structure or a rectangular plate structure. One longitudinal edge of the seat part 4 and one longitudinal edge of the backrest part 3 are butted together.
The seat portion connecting rod 41 is fixed to an edge in the lateral direction of the seat portion 4, the backrest portion connecting rod 31 is fixed to an edge in the lateral direction of the backrest portion 3, and the seat portion connecting rod 41 and the backrest portion connecting rod 31 are connected in a pivotable manner with respect to each other, and an angle therebetween increases or decreases when the seat portion connecting rod 41 and the backrest portion connecting rod 31 pivot with respect to each other. It should be noted that, the term "included angle" as used herein refers to an included angle of less than or equal to 180 °.
Two armrest frames 2 are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the seat portion 4 and the backrest portion 3, and each armrest frame 2 is provided with a slide rail that opens toward the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 and extends partially in the lateral direction, which in this embodiment is a slide groove 211, the rear end 211b of the slide groove 211 being lower than the front end 211a of the slide groove 211.
An exploded view of the pivotal connection of the seat part 4 and the backrest part 3 is shown in fig. 5. Referring to fig. 5, the seat portion connecting rod 41 and the backrest portion connecting rod 31 are engaged at the hinge mechanism 34, and a pin 341 protrudes from a side of the hinge mechanism 34 toward the armrest. The front end 211a of the slide groove 211 is provided with an upward opening so that the pin 341 can enter the slide groove 211 from the front end 211a of the slide groove 211 and slide in the slide groove 211. At the hinge mechanism 34, a profile gear and a gear engagement claw are provided, which are provided on the seat portion connecting rod 41 and the backrest portion connecting rod 31, respectively. The shaped gear is, for example, a ratchet 342, the edge of the ratchet 342 is provided with a recess recessed in the radial direction of the ratchet 342, the gear engaging pawl is provided with a projection engaged with the recess, and the positions of the recess and the projection are set so that the projection is fitted into the recess to achieve locking when the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 are at a predetermined obtuse angle. The seat part 4 is provided with a seat part insert 42 for receiving the seat part connecting rod 41 and the backrest part 3 is provided with a backrest part insert 32 for receiving the backrest part connecting rod 31.
Further, each armrest frame 2 includes an armrest frame body 22 and a reinforcing beam 21, and a slide groove 211 is provided on the reinforcing beam 21, and the extending direction of the reinforcing beam 21 coincides with the extending direction of the slide groove 211, i.e., a rear end 211b of the reinforcing beam 21 is also lower than a front end 211a of the reinforcing beam 21. The armrest frame body 22 further comprises two upright posts extending along the vertical direction and a body beam connected to the tops of the two upright posts, wherein the body beam is connected to the middle parts of the two upright posts and parallel to the body beam.
The support fixing structure of the sofa bed comprises, in addition to the armrest frames 2, a bottom support structure 24, the bottom support structure 24 being supported below the backrest part 3, the seat part 4 and fixedly connected to the two armrest frames 2. The bottom support structure 24 comprises, for example, a bottom support structure longitudinal beam, a bottom support structure transverse beam 23 and legs 25. The sofa bed further comprises a driven beam 26, one end of the driven beam 26 is pivotally connected to the armrest frame 2, and the other end of the driven beam is pivotally connected to the backrest 3.
Fig. 6A to 6F illustrate a process in which the main body frame 100 is brought from a first use state (serving as a bed in the first use state) to a second use state (serving as a sofa in the second use state) to the first use state.
Referring first to fig. 6A, in the first use state of the main body frame 100, the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 are both horizontal, and an included angle therebetween is a flat angle. The angle between the backrest portion connecting rod 31 and the seat portion connecting rod 41 is also substantially flat, and the pivot at the hinge mechanism 34 is located substantially near the front end 211a of the chute 211. At this time, the back rest connecting rod 31 and the seat part connecting rod 41 are not locked, allowing the seat part 4 to be operated to pivot toward a position where the angle between the seat part 4 and the back rest part 3 is reduced, the direction of this pivoting being shown by an arrow in fig. 6A.
When it is necessary to adjust the main body frame 100 to the second use state, the seat portion 4 can be pivoted in the arrow direction in fig. 6A, and the position shown in fig. 6B can be reached after the pivoting. In the position shown in fig. 6B, the pivot between the backrest portion connecting rod 31 and the seat portion connecting rod 41 is locked. Specifically, for example, a shaped ratchet 342 and a shaped ratchet may be provided at the hinge mechanism 34, with the shaped ratchet 342 and the shaped ratchet being matingly snap together in shape at the location shown in fig. 6B to prevent further rotation of the seat portion 4 relative to the back portion 3. The angle between the seat part 4 and the backrest part 3 is now alpha, which is an obtuse angle, and the reference to "predetermined obtuse angle" according to the invention is to be understood as alpha in fig. B.
At this time, the pin 341 at the hinge mechanism 34 can enter the slide groove 211 from the front end 211a of the slide groove 211. Thereafter, as shown in fig. 6C, the seat portion 4 can be pushed down along the arc arrow while the pin 341 can bring the combination of the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 to slide along the arrow extending in a straight line in fig. 6C, and after this operation, the combination of the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 can be brought into the second use state shown in fig. 6D.
In the structure shown in fig. 6B to 6D, the backrest connecting rod 31 and the seat connecting rod 41 are locked to each other at the hinge mechanism 34, and the angle between the backrest 3 and the seat 4 is always α.
When it is necessary to change the main body frame 100 from the second use state to the first use state, the seat portion 4 can be pivoted further toward the backrest portion 3 along the arrow shown in fig. 6D by manual operation, for example, such that the protruding portion of the ratchet is disengaged from the recessed portion of the ratchet, whereby the lock between the seat portion link 41 and the backrest portion link 31 can be released.
Referring to fig. 6E, after the seat portion 4 is pivoted along arrow a, the lock between the seat portion connecting lever 41 and the backrest portion connecting lever 31 is released. After the unlocking, the pin 341 is slid in the slide groove 211 toward the front end 211a along the arrow B, thereby bringing the backrest portion 3 and the seat portion 4 to the positions shown in fig. 6F, so that the main body frame 100 is returned to the first use state again.
In summary, it can be seen that the sofa sleeper of the present invention includes a hinge mechanism comprising a first section (e.g., the combination of the seat portion insert 42 and the seat portion connecting rod 41 of the above-described embodiment), a second section (e.g., the combination of the back portion insert 32 and the back portion connecting rod 31 of the above-described embodiment), and a third section (e.g., the driven beam 26 of the above-described embodiment) which are pivotally connected to each other in sequence. The first section is fixed to a side of the seat portion, the second section is fixed to a side of the backrest portion, and a protruding portion (e.g., a pin 341) is provided at a junction of the first section and the second section. The armrest frame is provided with a slide for engaging and guiding the projection, and the end of the third section opposite the second section (i.e. the end of the driven beam opposite the backrest connecting rod 31) is pivotally connected to the armrest frame.
In addition to the embodiments described above, the hinge mechanism of the present invention may have other preferred arrangements.
For example, referring to fig. 7 and 8, the hinge mechanism 234 includes a first segment 2341, a second segment 2342, and a third segment 2343. The first section 2341 includes a first section bar portion 2341b and a first section sleeve portion 2341a, the first section sleeve portion 2341a being provided with an opening toward the seat portion, the first section bar portion 2341b being disposed within the first section sleeve portion 2341a, the opening of the first section sleeve portion 2341a and the seat portion being secured together to enclose the first section bar portion 2341b therein. The first section bar portion 2341b and the first section sleeve portion 2341a may also be further fastened together by bolts. The second section 2342 includes a second section bar portion 2342b and a second section sleeve portion 2342a, the second section sleeve portion 2342a being provided with an opening toward the backrest portion, the second section bar portion 2342b being disposed within the second section sleeve portion 2342a, the opening of the second section sleeve portion 2342a and the backrest portion being secured together to enclose the second section bar portion 2342b therein. The first segment lever 2341b and the second segment lever 2342b are pivotally connected. The second segment stem 2342b and the second segment sleeve 2342a may also be further fastened together by bolts. One end of the third section 2343 is pivotably connected to the second section sleeve portion 2342a, and the other end of the third section 2343 is pivotably connected to the armrest frame 202.
The mounting connection of the hinge mechanism and the bottom support structure 210 is shown in fig. 11-13. As shown, the armrest frame 202 has a reinforcing beam 201 with a runner 2011 formed thereon having an opening 2011 a. The protrusion 2344 at the junction of the first and second sections 2341, 2342 can extend from the opening 2011a into the slide 2011 of the armrest frame 202 and can slide within the slide 2011. Specifically, with the angle between the first segment 2341 and the second segment 2342 locked, the tab 2344 slides within the chute 2011.
Fig. 9 and 10 show schematic views of another hinge mechanism of a sofa bed according to the invention. Referring to fig. 9, the first, second and third sections 2351, 2352 and 2353 are sequentially pivotably connected. Wherein the first segment 2351 is a one-piece member and the second component is also a one-piece member. Wherein the first and second sections 2351, 2352 are sectioned with planes perpendicular to the direction in which the first and second sections 2351, 2352 pivot with respect to each other, the first and second sections 2351, 2352 can be seen to have an L-shaped cross section. In order to make the first and second sections 2351, 2352 formed in an L-shape in cross section have superior stability, a reinforcing portion 2355 is provided at an angle between two walls forming the L-shape, the reinforcing portion 2355 being provided in plurality and along an extending direction of the first and second sections 2351, 2352. The junction of the first and second sections 2351, 2352 is provided with a protrusion 2354 capable of mating with the slideway.
Fig. 14-22 show another preferred embodiment according to the present invention.
Referring to fig. 14 and 15, the sofa sleeper includes a main body frame 200 and an arm rest 202, the seat portion 204 and the back portion 203 of the main body frame 200 being convertible between a sofa configuration and a bed configuration.
Fig. 16 shows a schematic view of the bottom support structure 210 of the sofa sleeper of fig. 14, 15 after removal of the main body frame 200. Wherein the bottom support structure 210 includes support tubes 2030 extending generally in a lateral direction, the support tubes 2030 may be one, two or more. In this embodiment, the support tube 2030 is one possible structure of a bracket, and in other embodiments not shown, the bracket may have other structures. The support tube 2030 is provided with a first support structure configured to support the junction of the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 when the main body frame 200 is in the bed configuration; the second support structure is configured to support both the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 when the main body frame 200 is in the sofa configuration.
Referring to fig. 17, in particular to the present embodiment, the body 2031 of the support tube extends in the lateral direction of the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203, and the body 2031 of the support tube includes a support tube first section 2031a, a support tube second section 2031b, and a support tube third section 2031c that are sequentially connected, a support block 2032 is provided on the body 2031 of the support tube, the lower end of the support block 2032 may have a U-shaped opening 2032a, the U-shaped opening 2032a may be engaged on the body 2031 of the support tube, and the support block 2032 may have a rivet hole for cooperation with the body 2031 of the support tube, and the support block 2032 may be mounted on the body of the support tube 2030 by welding or riveting.
Referring to the state when the main body frame 200 is in the bed configuration as shown in fig. 18 and 19, the supporting block 2032 is located below a junction of the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 (at the longitudinal end of which the hinge mechanism 234 is provided) and simultaneously supports the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 so that the main body frame 200 is stably located in the bed configuration. That is, in the present embodiment, the support block 2032 constitutes a first support structure that supports the tube 2030.
Referring to the state of the main body frame 200 in the sofa configuration as shown in fig. 20 and 21, it can be seen that the support tube 2030 first section 2031a is supported against the bottom surface of the seat portion 204, and the support tube 2030 second section 2031b is supported against the surface of the backrest portion 203 facing away from the seat portion 204, that is, the support tube 2030 first section 2031a and the support tube 2030 second section 2031b surface facing the main body frame 200 together form a second support structure for the support tube 2030.
Preferably, with continued reference to fig. 20, the backrest portion 203 and the seat portion 204 each include a plurality of longitudinal beams 220 extending in a longitudinal direction. Referring to fig. 22, the support block 2032 is configured such that the support block 2032 is located on the front side of one longitudinal beam 220 of the seat portion 204 when the main body frame 200 is in the bed configuration so as to restrict forward sliding movement of the seat portion 204. Also, referring to fig. 18 and 19, when the main body frame 200 is in the bed configuration, the longitudinal beam of the back portion 203 closest to the seat portion 204 and the longitudinal direction Liang Jinmi of the seat portion 204 closest to the back portion 203 are abutted together, and the support block 2032 contacts and supports the two longitudinal beams.
By way of contrast with the present invention, fig. 23 shows a spacing support structure for a prior art sofa bed. It can be seen that in this configuration, the stop fixtures 205' are provided on the legs 230' for supporting the bed panel 204' in the sofa configuration, but the support structure cannot support the bed panel when the bed panel is in the bed configuration. The present invention overcomes this disadvantage by providing a support tube as shown in fig. 17, and the sofa bed of the present invention does not require such a conventional spacing and fixing structure as shown in fig. 23. Of course, the present invention may also be provided with a spacing support structure as shown in fig. 23.
Preferably, turning back to fig. 16 and 17, the bottom support structure 210 comprises two longitudinal bottom support structure tubes respectively located at two lateral edges, two ends of the body 2031 of the support tube are respectively provided with a U-shaped portion 2033 with a downward opening, and when the support tube 2030 is mounted on the bottom support structure 210, the two U-shaped portions 2033 of the support tube 2030 are respectively engaged on the two longitudinal bottom support structure tubes.
Fig. 24-29 illustrate another preferred embodiment according to the present invention. Referring to fig. 24, the sofa bed includes a main body frame composed of a seat portion 204 and a backrest portion 203, and an armrest frame 202. The seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 each include a mesh plate structure.
Fig. 25 may be a separate schematic view of the seat portion 204 or the backrest portion 203 in fig. 24, and both the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 may include a main body unit 205. For purposes of example, fig. 25 is the seat portion 204 of fig. 24. The seat part 204 includes two body units 205 arranged in the longitudinal direction, and each body unit 205 includes a unit frame 301 and a unit mesh plate 302. Referring to fig. 26, the unit frame 301 is provided with a circle of steps 3011 at the inner edge thereof, which may be provided intermittently or continuously, around the body of the unit frame 301. The unit screen 302 includes a ring of edge ribs at the edge thereof, the unit screen 302 is detachably mounted on the unit frame 301 and the edge ribs are fittingly rested on the ring of steps 3011.
Fig. 27 and 28 show schematic views after the unit screen 302 is removed from the unit frame 301, and fig. 29 shows schematic views in which the unit screen 302 is mounted on the unit frame 301. As can be seen in fig. 28, 29, the unit frame 301 is also fitted with a paddle 303, said paddle 303 being configured to be operable to move between a first position (as shown in fig. 29) in which it stops on top of the edge bead to prevent the unit mesh plate 302 from being detached from the unit frame 301, and a second position (as shown in fig. 28) in which the unit mesh plate 302 is allowed to be detached from the unit frame 301.
Preferably, the dial 303 is configured to be coupled to the unit frame 301 via a pin 304 perpendicular to the overall extending direction of the main body unit 205 and to be rotatable about the pin 304.
Also preferably, each of the body units 205 has a polygonal structure, and the dial 303 is provided at each corner of the polygonal structure. In the present embodiment, each of the body units 205 is rectangular.
As shown in fig. 24, the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 are each formed in a rectangular structure, the respective one longitudinal edges of the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 are butted together, and the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 each include two of the main body units 205 arranged in the longitudinal direction thereof. That is, the sofa bed includes four main body units 205 arranged in an array, wherein one pair of main body units 205 arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction constitutes the seat portion 204, and the other pair of main body units 205 arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction constitutes the backrest portion 203.
Fig. 30-37 illustrate another preferred embodiment according to the present invention.
Referring to fig. 30 and 31, the armrest frame 202 of the sofa bed can be detached from the sofa bed main body, and the armrest frame 202 itself can be further detached. The armrest frame 202 comprises a substantially U-shaped armrest frame body and a reinforcing beam 201 detachably connected between two supporting legs of the armrest frame body, wherein tongue portions 2012 are arranged at two ends of the reinforcing beam 201, and the two tongue portions 2012 are respectively detachably clamped on the two supporting legs. A runner 2011 is formed on the reinforcement beam 201.
In order to facilitate positioning and mounting of the reinforcing beam 201 on the armrest frame body, the armrest frame body is further provided with a clamping hole 2021, and the end portion of the reinforcing beam 201 may be provided with a small protrusion, which may cooperate with the clamping hole 2021 to achieve positioning.
Preferably, referring to fig. 32-34, the armrest frame body is further detachable and/or foldable. That is, fig. 32 to 34 show two storage modes that can be simultaneously realized on the same armrest frame body.
The armrest frame body includes a plurality of sections 202a connected in sequence, and an end of one section 202a of any adjacent two sections 202a has an opening into which an end of the other section 202a extends to connect the adjacent two sections 202 a. Each section 202a is disassembled and stored in one of two storage modes.
The legs and the connecting section are connected by a pivot 203a, and the armrest frame body is configured such that the two legs can be pivotally folded with respect to the connecting section between the two legs to place the armrest frame body in a folded state as shown in fig. 34. Referring to fig. 33, the connection between the leg section 202c and the connection section 202c specifically includes a shaft 202f, a spacer 202e, and a plastic cover 202d enclosing the shaft 202f, the spacer 202 e. The support leg and the connecting section are pivoted and stored in the other of the two storage modes.
The structure of the armrest frame after the second storage mode is adopted only and the first storage mode is not adopted is shown in fig. 34.
Referring to fig. 36 and 37, the leg has a rectangular cross section, the tongue 2012 has an L-shaped cross section, and the tongue 2012 is fitted to two adjacent sides of the leg. And, the sofa bed further comprises a bottom support structure 210 positioned and supported under the main body frame, the bottom support structure 210 comprising a bottom support structure longitudinal beam connected between the two armrest frames 202, and for each of the armrest frames 202, its tongue 2012 comprises a first portion facing the other armrest frame 202 and fitting on the tongue 2012 of the leg, the bottom support structure longitudinal beam being connected to the armrest frame 202 by being fixed on the first portion of the tongue 2012 (realized by bolts 2014).
As an alternative to a tongue portion having an L-shaped cross section, fig. 35 shows another stiffening beam 201, on which a slideway 2011 is provided on the stiffening beam 201. The tongue portion 2013 of the reinforcement beam 201 is U-shaped in cross section, and the tongue portion 2013 can be fitted on two adjacent side surfaces of the leg and a surface between the two adjacent side surfaces.
Fig. 38A-47 show schematic views according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention. The sofa bed may further comprise a plurality of elastic modules mounted in an array on the seat portion and the backrest portion.
Fig. 39 shows an exploded view of an elastic module 400. Each elastic module 400 includes a conical spring 403 and a spring holder 402 that accommodates the conical spring. The spring support 402 includes a base 401 that is capable of mating with the body frame of a sofa sleeper.
In the present embodiment, the seat portion 204 and the backrest portion 203 may each constitute a main body frame, or both may constitute a main body frame. The main body frame is formed with a slide rail capable of being engaged with the bottom of the spring bracket to each other such that the plurality of elastic modules 400 can slide on the slide rail, and the main body frame can be folded to each other along a folding line perpendicular to an extending direction of the slide rail to be switched between a folded state and a use state, the slide rail forming a slide rail opening 53 at the folding line when the main body frame is in the folded state, and the slide rail opening 53 being closed when the main body frame is in the use state. The slide rail on the main body frame is configured such that the plurality of elastic modules 400 can be mounted to the slide rail from the outside of the main body frame via the slide rail opening 53 and slid toward the end of the slide rail when the main body frame is folded, so that the plurality of elastic modules 400 are densely arranged on the side of the main body frame toward the user.
It should be noted that the "folded state" referred to herein refers to a position where the body frames are folded in half with each other along the folding line so that the opening 53 of the slide rail is exposed, and the sofa bed is not usable when the body frames are in the folded state, and the sofa bed is not used as a bed nor a sofa. As referred to herein "in use state" refers to a position in which the body frame is laid flat so that the opening 53 of the slide rail is closed, the sofa bed being usable in use state, in which the sofa bed can be used as a sofa or as a bed.
Fig. 40 shows one possible configuration of the seat portion 204 or the backrest portion 203. For exemplary purposes, fig. 40 shows the seat portions 204 with an odd number of elastic modules 400 mounted on each of the sliding rails of the seat portions 204 extending in the longitudinal direction, with the fold line being offset with respect to the middle position in the longitudinal direction of the main body frame. Fig. 41 to 46 are schematic views showing a process of mounting the elastic module 400 on the main body frame to finally obtain the structure shown in fig. 40.
Referring to fig. 41, the main body frame is folded in half along a folding line, and the two folded portions 50, which are folded in half with each other, the first folded portion 50a and the second folded portion 50b have different longitudinal dimensions (i.e., dimensions extending in their respective longitudinal directions). Taking the first folded portion 50a as an example, the first folded portion 50a includes a plurality of rail beams 52 (i.e., longitudinal beams), and any adjacent two of the rail beams 52 are formed together into one rail, each having an opening 53 at a folded position of the first folded portion 50a and the second folded portion 50 b.
Referring to fig. 42, the elastic module 400 can be installed into and slid on the slide rail from the opening 53 of the slide rail. The bottom of the elastic module 400 is engaged with the slide rail so that the elastic module 400 can slide on the slide rail without being separated from the slide rail from a position other than the opening 53. The state after the elastic module 400 is fully distributed on one rail of the first folding portion 50a is shown in fig. 43, and the state after the elastic module 400 is fully distributed on all rails of the first folding portion 50a is shown in fig. 44. In fig. 44, no slide rail is yet mounted on the second folded portion 50b, and the second folded portion 50b also has a plurality of slide rail beams 52, and any two adjacent slide rail beams 52 are formed as one slide rail.
Fig. 45 shows a schematic view of the elastic module 400 laid on one of the rails on the second folded portion 50 b. It can be seen that the elastic module 400 is also mounted into the rail from the opening 53 of the rail of the second folded portion 50 b. The state in which the elastic module 400 is fully distributed on the second folded portion 50b is shown in fig. 46. In fig. 46, the first folding portion 50a and the second folding portion 50b are both covered with the elastic module 400, the seat 204 can be re-tiled by folding the first folding portion 50a and the second folding portion 50b according to the arrows shown in the drawing, and the opening 53 of the sliding rail can be closed after re-tiling, so that the elastic module 400 cannot be removed from the seat 204.
As can be seen from fig. 46, up to 7 elastic modules 400 can be mounted on each slide rail of the first folding portion 50a, up to 6 elastic modules 400 can be mounted on each slide rail of the second folding portion 50b, and only one more elastic module 400 can be mounted on each slide rail of the first folding portion 50a than can be mounted on each slide rail of the second folding portion 50b, then the number of elastic modules 400 that are maximally accommodated by one complete slide rail (formed by the butt joint of one slide rail of the first folding portion 50a and one slide rail of the second folding portion 50 b) of the final seat portion 204 is necessarily odd. Such an arrangement may minimize the longitudinal dimension of the main body frame (i.e., the longitudinal dimension of the first folded portion 50 a) when the main body frame is in the folded state, which minimizes the footprint of the main body frame in the folded state when received. Of course, if the floor space in the folded state is not considered, the first folded portion 50a and the second folded portion 50b may be set so that the number of loads that can be carried at most per one slide rail is greatly different.
Turning back to fig. 40, the respective one of any two adjacent folding portions in the longitudinal direction is butted together and pivotable relative to each other about a laterally extending axis to effect folding of the adjacent two folding portions relative to each other, and the rail beams of the adjacent two folding portions are aligned in the longitudinal direction but may or may not be spaced apart at the fold line (of course, there may not be a gap) sized to not allow the resilient module 400 to disengage from the rail in the folded state.
Fig. 47 shows a further possible construction of the seat part or backrest part. For exemplary purposes, fig. 47 shows seat portions, each of which has an even number of elastic modules 400 mounted on a rail extending in the longitudinal direction. Referring to fig. 47, the fold line 51 is located at an intermediate position in the longitudinal direction, that is, the longitudinal dimensions of the two fold portions 50 folded into each other along the fold line 51 are equal. Fig. 48 shows the body frame of fig. 47 folded in half along a folding line 51, and it can be seen that each folding portion 50 includes a plurality of rail beams 52, two adjacent rail beams 52 together form a rail, each rail forms an opening 53 at the position of the folding line 51, and the elastic module 400 can be mounted into the rail from the opening 53.
Fig. 49 is a schematic view showing the main body frame of fig. 48 after the elastic modules 400 are fully distributed, and up to 7 elastic modules 400 can be received on each slide rail of each folding portion 50 of the two folding portions 50 folded in half along the folding line 51. That is, the number of elastic modules 400 that can be accommodated at most on each of the two rails of the two folding portions 50 folded in half along the folding line 51 is equal, and then the number of elastic modules 400 that can be accommodated at most on one complete rail of the final seat portion (formed by the abutting joint of one rail of the first folding portion 50a and one rail of the second folding portion 50 b) is necessarily even. Such an arrangement may minimize the longitudinal dimension of the main body frame (i.e., the longitudinal dimension of the first folded portion 50 a) when the main body frame is in the folded state, which minimizes the footprint of the main body frame in the folded state when received. Of course, if the floor space in the folded state is not considered, the first folded portion 50a and the second folded portion 50b may be set to have different numbers of loads at most for each sliding rail.
Although one main body frame in the embodiment shown in fig. 40 to 49 includes only two folding portions 50, in other not-shown embodiments, one main body frame may include a plurality of folding portions 50 arranged in the longitudinal direction, and any adjacent two folding portions 50 may be folded in half with respect to each other so that the opening 53 of the slide rail is opened, and laid flat with respect to each other so that the opening 53 of the slide rail is closed. That is, if there are a plurality of folded portions 50, the structure of any adjacent two folded portions 50 may be similar to that shown in fig. 40 to 49.
Fig. 50-63 illustrate further possible embodiments of mounting the elastic module.
Referring to fig. 50, the sofa bed includes a main body frame and a plurality of elastic modules 400. The main body frame may include a seat portion and/or a backrest portion. The main body frame may in turn include a plurality of main body unit portions 50c. Specifically, the seat portion includes two main body unit portions 50c arranged in the longitudinal direction, and the backrest portion also includes two main body unit portions 50c arranged in the longitudinal direction. Each body unit portion 50c includes a plurality of longitudinally extending longitudinal beams, which may also be referred to as rail beams. Any two adjacent rail beams 52 can together form a rail. And, the two slide rail beams 52 of each slide rail are provided with a first fastening structure extending along the whole thereof, the bottom of the spring bracket is provided with a second fastening structure 404, and the elastic module 400 can be press-mounted to the slide rail along a plane perpendicular to a plane defined by the extending directions of the two slide rail beams 52. The first and second snap structures 404 snap fit to each other when the resilient module 400 is mounted on a rail to only allow the resilient module 400 to move relative to the rail beam 52 in a sliding manner along the rail.
It will be appreciated that during the press-mounting of the elastic module 400 to the rail along a plane (i.e., downward) perpendicular to the plane defined by the extending directions of the two rail beams 52, the portion of the elastic module 400 in contact with the rail beams 52 is slightly deformed, and the deformation disappears after the mounting is completed, so that the elastic module 400 cannot be detached from the rail. In other words, the structure of the base 401 of the elastic module 400 interferes with the rail beam 52 when the elastic module 400 is not yet mounted to the rail, and the elastic module 400 cannot be mounted to the rail without applying downward pressure to the elastic module 400 to deform it.
Preferably, referring to fig. 53, the first snap structure includes a groove 52a extending along the slide rail beam 52 on the top surface of the slide rail beam 52 (i.e., extending perpendicular to the paper surface of fig. 53), and the second snap structure 404 includes a protrusion protruding outward from the top surface of the base 401 of the elastic module 400 and toward the groove 52 a.
Preferably, with continued reference to fig. 53, the first fastening structure further includes a bottom surface 52b of the rail beam, and the second fastening structure 404 includes an extension structure protruding downward from the base 401, and the bottom of the extension structure is provided with an outwardly protruding fastening hook 404b, where the fastening hook 404b is configured to be fastened to the bottom surface 52b of the rail beam. And, two extension structures and a protrusion between the two extension structures are provided on one side of the base 401 engaged with the slide rail beam 52.
More preferably, referring simultaneously to fig. 53, 55, 56, the width of the recess 52a is configured to accommodate two of the protrusions side by side such that the respective protrusions of the two elastic modules 400 on both sides of each of the slide rail beams 52 are able to slide within the recess 52a independently of each other. That is, the slide rail beam 52 is configured such that the first snap-in structure can simultaneously engage the second snap-in structures 404 of the two elastic modules 400 on both sides of the slide rail beam 52, and in the engaged state, the two elastic modules 400 on both sides of the slide rail beam 52 can slide along their respective tracks independently of each other.
The cross-sectional configuration of the rail beam 52 may also have other preferred arrangements. For example, referring to fig. 54B and 54C, the bottom surface 52B of the rail beam is also provided with a groove 52a, and the hook 404B is configured to hook into the groove 52a. And, the grooves 52a on the bottom surface 52b and the grooves 52a on the top surface of the rail beam are symmetrically disposed, and the rail beam 52 is simultaneously configured to be symmetrical about a plane defined by a bottom-most end of the grooves 52a on the top surface of the rail beam 52 and a top-most end of the grooves 52a on the bottom surface 52b of the rail beam. As shown in fig. 54C, the left and right sides of the sliding rail beam 52 are planar, or as shown in fig. 54B, the left and right sides of the sliding rail beam 52 are convex cambered surfaces, and the portion of the base 401 of the elastic module 400 corresponding to the convex cambered surfaces is a concave cambered surface.
Alternatively, in other embodiments not shown, the first snap structure comprises a protrusion extending along the rail beam 52 on the top surface of the rail beam 52, and the second snap structure 404 comprises a groove 52a provided at an edge of the top surface of the base 401 of the elastic module 400 facing the protrusion.
Fig. 57 to 63 are schematic views showing a process of installing the elastic module 400 on the frame of the sofa bed. One elastic module 400 is first pressed down to the slide rail formed by the pair of slide rail beams 52, and the elastic module 400 can slide on the slide rail in the longitudinal direction after the elastic module 400 is mounted on the slide rail.
