Wherein, the terminal 11 may also be called as a terminal Device or a User Equipment (UE), the terminal 11 may be a Mobile phone, a Tablet Personal Computer (Tablet Personal Computer), a Laptop Computer (Laptop Computer) or a notebook Computer, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a palmtop Computer, a netbook, a super-Mobile Personal Computer (UMPC), a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a Wearable Device (Wearable Device) or a vehicle-mounted Device (VUE), a pedestrian terminal (PUE), and other terminal side devices, the Wearable Device includes: smart watches, bracelets, earphones, glasses, and the like. It should be noted that the embodiment of the present application does not limit the specific type of the terminal 11. The network side device 12 may be a core network device, wherein the core network device may include, but is not limited to, at least one of the following: a core network node, a core network Function, a Mobility Management Entity (MME), an Access Mobility Management Function (AMF), a Session Management Function (SMF), a User Plane Function (UPF), a Policy Control Function (PCF), a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), an Edge Application Service Discovery Function (EASDF), an Application Function (AF), and the like. The access network device 13 may be a base station. In the embodiment of the present application, only the core network device in the 5G system is taken as an example, but the present application is not limited thereto.
The information processing method provided by the embodiments of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings by using some embodiments and application scenarios thereof.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of an information processing method provided in an embodiment of the present application, where the method is executed by a terminal, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes the following steps:
step 21: and the terminal sends a request message to the network side equipment.
In this embodiment, the network side device may be a core network device such as an AMF. The network side device is located in a first network. The request message may include at least one of the following: information indicating that the first service is centered, information indicating that the terminal cannot support the second network.
Optionally, the first service may include, but is not limited to, a voice service, etc.
Optionally, the first network cannot support the first service, and the second network supports the first service. For example, the first network is a5G network, a 6G network, and the like, and the second network is a 4G network, and the like, but the first network and the second network are not specifically limited in this embodiment.
Note that, for the terminal being unable to support the second network, it may be the communication module supporting the second network on the terminal hardware, but for some reasons, the terminal disables the communication module of the second network for a while, thus causing the terminal to be unable to support the second network. Taking the second network as a 4G network as an example, the terminal may disable the S1 mode capability for a certain period of time due to some reasons, that is, disable the communication module of the 4G network in the terminal for a certain period of time. For example, if the terminal is in a garage, but the garage does not have coverage of the 4G network, the terminal may disable the communication module of the 4G network for a period of time, for example, 12 minutes, after performing a predetermined number of times, for example, 5 times of Tracking Area Update (TAU) failures.
Step 22: and the terminal receives the request response message from the network side equipment.
Optionally, the request response message may include a cause value, where the cause value is used to indicate that the terminal cannot fall back to the second network to acquire the first service because the terminal does not support the capability of the second network.
For example, if the first network is a5G network, the second network is a 4G network, and the first service is a voice service, the 5G network is an independent (SA) 5G network, and it is assumed that the terminal resides in the SA5G network, because the SA5G network cannot support a voice service (VoNR) based on NR, the terminal can only fall back to the 4G network to provide the voice service through an Evolved Packet System (EPS) Fallback (Fallback), and if a communication module of the 4G network of the terminal is disabled, the terminal cannot acquire the voice service.
In the information processing method in the embodiment of the present application, after the terminal sends the request message to the network-side device in the first network, if the request message includes information indicating that the first service is used as a center and/or information indicating that the terminal cannot support the second network, the terminal may receive, from the network-side device, a request response message including a cause value, where the cause value is used to indicate that the terminal cannot fall back to the second network to acquire the first service because the terminal does not have a capability of supporting the second network. Therefore, the terminal can know the reason for being unable to acquire the first service through the reason value, and further the residence of the terminal in the first network is prevented from being influenced, so that the terminal is ensured to reside in the first network initiating the request, and meanwhile, the service provided by the first network is enjoyed, and the user experience is ensured.
Optionally, the request message may include, but is not limited to: registration request messages, route update request messages, and the like; correspondingly, the request response message may include, but is not limited to: a registration request reject message, a route update request reject message, a registration request accept message, a route update request accept message, etc.
Optionally, the cause value may be further used to indicate that the first network cannot provide the service of the first service, and the second network can provide the service of the first service, so that the terminal knows that the first network cannot provide the service of the first service and that the second network can provide the service of the first service.
Optionally, the reason value may be further used to instruct the terminal to start a communication module supporting the second network and to perform the request operation in the first network again, so that the terminal performs the request operation in the first network again in the case of supporting the second network.
Optionally, the cause value may also be used to instruct the terminal not to reselect to the third network, so as to avoid that the terminal cannot camp on the first network after reselecting to the third network. For example, the third network is a 2G network and/or a 3G network.
Optionally, after receiving the request response message from the network-side device, the terminal may start the communication module supporting the second network, and perform the request operation in the first network again. For example, when the request operation is executed in the first network again, the terminal may send a request message to the network-side device, where the request message includes information indicating that the first service is centered and/or information indicating that the terminal supports the second network, and receive a request acceptance message from the network-side device.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of an information processing method according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method is performed by a network side device, such as a 5GC network element, including but not limited to an AMF, or the like. As shown in fig. 3, the method comprises the steps of:
step 31: the network side equipment receives the request message from the terminal.
For example, the first network is a5G network, a 6G network, etc., and the second network is a 4G network, etc., but the first network and the second network are not specifically limited in this embodiment.
Note that, for the terminal being unable to support the second network, it may be the communication module supporting the second network on the terminal hardware, but for some reasons, the terminal disables the communication module of the second network for a while, thus causing the terminal to be unable to support the second network.
Step 32: and the network side equipment sends a request response message to the terminal.
Optionally, the request response message may include a cause value, where the cause value is used to indicate that the terminal cannot fall back to the second network to acquire the first service because the terminal does not support the capability of the second network.
In the information processing method in the embodiment of the application, after receiving the request message from the terminal, the network side device may send, to the terminal, a request response message including a cause value if the request message includes information indicating that the first service is centered and/or information indicating that the terminal cannot support the second network, where the cause value is used to indicate that the terminal cannot fall back to the second network to acquire the first service because the terminal does not support the capability of the second network.
The following description will discuss a specific embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 4.
In this embodiment of the present application, taking a registration process of a UE as an example, assuming that a first network is a5G network, a second network is a 4G network, and a first service is a voice service, as shown in fig. 4, a corresponding information processing process may include:
step 41: the UE sends a registration request message to an AMF located in the 5G network, the registration request message including at least one of: information indicating that the terminal is a voice service (e.g., voice center information), and information indicating that the UE does not support the 4G network. The UE not supporting the 4G network may be understood as that the UE does not have a capability of supporting a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) of an Evolved Packet Core (EPC), and the UE does not have a capability of supporting an S1 mode. The reason why the UE does not support the 4G network is: the communication module of the 4G network in the UE is disabled.
Step 42: since the 5G network cannot support the voice service and the 4G network supports the voice service, but the communication module of the 4G network in the UE is disabled, the AMF may reject the registration request message and send the registration request reject message to the UE. The registration request reject message may include a cause value, for example, a 5GMM cause, a5g mobility management cause, etc., for indicating that the UE cannot drop the ESP fallback to the 4G network to acquire the voice service because the UE does not have the capability of the 4G network (such as S1 mode capability), that is, the 4G network cannot provide the voice service for the UE.
Optionally, the cause value may also be used to indicate that the 5G network cannot provide the service of the first service and the 4G network can provide the service of the voice service, so that the terminal knows that the 5G network cannot provide the service of the first service and that the 4G network can provide the service of the voice service.
Optionally, the reason value may also be used to instruct the UE to start a communication module of the 4G network and perform the request operation on the 5G network again, so that the terminal initiates the registration procedure on the 5G network again and registers to the 5G network in the case that the terminal supports the 4G network.
Optionally, the cause value may also be used to indicate that the UE does not reselect to the 2G network and/or the 3G network, so as to avoid that the terminal cannot camp on the 5G network after reselecting to the 2G network and/or the 3G network.
Step 43: after receiving the registration request rejection message, the UE does not reselect the 2G network and/or the 3G network, but starts a communication module of the 4G network, and initiates a registration process in the 5G network again to register in the 5G network, so that the UE is ensured to reside in the 5G network, and simultaneously enjoys data service and voice service of the 5G network, thereby ensuring user experience and improving the residence ratio of the 5G network. The UE turning on the communication module of the 4G network may be understood as a capability of the UE to reactivate the 4G network, or a capability of turning on the S1 mode, or a capability of re-enabling (re-enabled) Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA).
