For example, assuming that the search keyword input by the user is "successfully purchase tickets", the mobile phone may use the character "×" as a substitute character for the search keyword "successfully purchase tickets" after receiving an operation of inputting the search keyword in the search input box by the user.
In other embodiments, when the number of the substitute characters is multiple, after receiving an operation of a user to input multiple search keywords in a search box, the terminal device may determine, according to the substitute characters located before each search keyword, the substitute characters corresponding to each search keyword, respectively.
Exemplarily, assuming that the number of the substitute characters is 2 and the characters are "#" and "#", respectively, after the user starts the keyword hiding function, the user may return to the mobile phone desktop shown in fig. 1 and click an icon of the short message application in the mobile phone desktop, and the mobile phone starts the short message application and displays a main interface of the short message application in response to the operation of clicking the icon of the short message application by the user, as shown in fig. 10, the substitute characters "#" and "#" are displayed in the search input box, and the two substitute characters are separated by a semicolon. The user can input a plurality of search keywords in the search input box, and after receiving the operation that the user inputs the search keywords in the search input box, the mobile phone can determine the substitute character corresponding to each search keyword according to the substitute character positioned before each search keyword. For example, assume that the search keywords input by the user are "successfully purchase tickets" and "rides", as shown in fig. 11, where the character "#" is located before the search keyword "successfully purchase tickets", and the character "#" is located before the search keyword "rides"; the mobile phone may use the character "#" as a substitute character for the search keyword "successfully purchase tickets" and the character "#" as a substitute character for the search keyword "take a car" after receiving an operation of the user inputting a plurality of search keywords in the search input box.
In other embodiments, when the number of the substitute characters is multiple, after receiving an operation of a user to input multiple search keywords in a search box, the terminal device may determine, according to the substitute characters located after each search keyword, the substitute character corresponding to each search keyword, respectively.
Step S602, obtaining a search content list obtained by searching based on the search keyword;
the search content list comprises at least one piece of search content containing search keywords.
Step S603, replacing the search keyword in each piece of search content with a substitute character to obtain a reduced content list, and displaying the reduced content list.
In an alternative embodiment, after the substitute characters corresponding to the search keywords and the search content list obtained by searching based on the search keywords are respectively determined in step S601 and step S602, the substitute characters may be used to replace the search keywords in each piece of search content to obtain a reduced content list, and the reduced content list is displayed.
For example, in an embodiment, taking the time information of the user searching for the purchased ticket in the sms application as an example for explanation, assuming that the search keyword is "successfully purchase the ticket", and the substitute character corresponding to the search keyword "successfully purchase the ticket" determined in step S601 is "; the search content list obtained in step S602 is shown in fig. 3, and the mobile phone may replace the search keyword "successfully purchase tickets" in each piece of search content with a substitute character "×" to obtain a reduced content list, and display the reduced content list, as shown in fig. 12.
In another embodiment, the time information of the user searching the purchased tickets in the short message service application is taken as an example for explanation, and it is assumed that the search keywords are "successful ticket purchase" and "ride", the substitute character corresponding to the search keyword "successful ticket purchase" determined in step S601 is "#", and the substitute character corresponding to the search keyword "ride" is "#"; the search content list obtained in step S602 is shown in fig. 13, and the mobile phone may replace the search keyword "successfully purchase tickets" in each search content with a substitute character "#", and replace the search keyword "take a car" in each search content with a substitute character "#", so as to obtain a reduced content list, and display the reduced content list, as shown in fig. 14.
In an alternative embodiment, in the process of replacing the search keyword in each piece of search content with the substitute character, each piece of search content may be used as the current search content, and whether to replace the search keyword in the current search content is determined with reference to the method shown in fig. 15.
Step S1501, determining the content word number of the current search content;
for example, taking the search content list shown in fig. 3 as an example, assuming that the current search content is the first search content in the search content list shown in fig. 3, where "XX software" is the title of the current search content, "notify you that you have successfully purchased tickets, and the bus time is 9.
Step S1502, determining the maximum number of words that the search display frame is allowed to accommodate except for the title line;
in an alternative embodiment, when determining the maximum number of words that the search display frame is allowed to accommodate except for the title line, the maximum number of words that the search display frame is allowed to accommodate except for the title line may be determined according to the length and width of the search display frame and the font size of the font displayed by the search display frame, where the search display frame is used to display a piece of search content; the title behavior searches the first line of the display box.
Specifically, the number of lines allowed to be accommodated by the search display frame may be determined according to the width of the search display frame and the font size of the font displayed by the search display frame; and determining the maximum number of words allowed to be accommodated by each line in the search display frame according to the length of the search display frame and the font size of the font displayed by the search display frame, and determining the maximum number of words allowed to be accommodated by the search display frame except the first line according to the number of lines allowed to be accommodated by the search display frame and the maximum number of words allowed to be accommodated by each line.
Step S1503, judging whether the content word number of the current search content is larger than the maximum allowable word number of the search display frame except the title line; if yes, go to step S1504; if not, go to step S1505;
step S1504, replacing search keywords contained in the current search content with alternative characters;
in step S1505, the current search content is not replaced.
Specifically, if the word number of the content of the current search content is determined to be larger than the maximum word number allowed to be accommodated by the search display frame except for the first line, replacing the search keyword contained in the current search content with the substitute character and displaying the search keyword; and if the word number of the content of the current search content is determined to be less than or equal to the maximum word number allowed to be accommodated except the first row of the search display frame, directly displaying the current search content.
Illustratively, in one embodiment, the search keyword is assumed to be "successfully purchased tickets", and the substitute character corresponding to the search keyword "successfully purchased tickets" is "+; the current search content is the first search content in the search content list shown in fig. 3, step S1501 determines that the content word count of the current search content is 18, and step S1502 determines that the number of allowed lines of the search display frame is 2, and the number of allowed words in each line is 14, so the maximum number of allowed words in the search display frame other than the first line is 14, and is less than the content word count of the current search content, and therefore, the substitute character "×" may be used instead of the search keyword "purchase tickets successfully" included in the current search content.
In another embodiment, assuming that the current search content is the third search content in the search content list shown in fig. 3, step S1501 determines that the content word count of the current search content is 9, and it is determined through step S1502 that the number of allowed lines of the search display frame is 2, and the number of allowed words in each line is 14, so that the maximum number of words allowed to be accommodated by the search display frame except for the first line is 14 words, which is greater than the content word count of the current search content, and therefore, the current search content is not replaced.
Through the above manner, each piece of search content in the search content list shown in fig. 3 can be determined in sequence, and after the determination is completed, a reduced content list can be obtained and displayed, as shown in fig. 16.
In an optional implementation manner, after the keyword hiding function is started in step S601, the terminal device may further update each alternative character displayed in the search box in response to an update operation performed by the user for each alternative character in the character setting interface; wherein, the update operation may comprise an add operation, a delete operation and a change operation.
Illustratively, in one embodiment, as shown in fig. 17, in the function setting interface of the search setting, a substitute character key 1701 may be further included, the user may perform a click operation on the substitute character key 1701 in the function setting interface of the search setting, the mobile phone displays the character setting interface in response to the user clicking the substitute character key 1701, as shown in fig. 18, the user may input a substitute character in the character input box 1801, for example, the user may input "#" in the character input box of the first substitute character, input "#" in the character input box of the second substitute character, after the input is completed, the user may click the determination key, and the mobile phone returns to the function setting interface in response to the user clicking the determination key and displays the substitute character set by the user before the substitute character key 1701, as shown in fig. 19.
In another embodiment, the user may also perform a deletion operation and a change operation on the substitute characters in the character setting interface shown in fig. 18, for example, assuming that the first substitute character is "#" and the second substitute character is "#", the user may change the first substitute character to "#", may delete the second substitute character and click the decision key, and the mobile phone returns to the function setting interface in response to the operation of the user clicking the decision key and updates the substitute character displayed before the substitute character key 1701, as shown in fig. 20.
