The second end portion 33 of the embodiment of the present application is fixed in a manner that the second end portion 33 is first sealed, and then the sealed second end portion 33 is fixed to the back panel 22 after being flattened; the first end portion 31 is fixed in such a manner that the edge of the first end portion 31 is sewn to the rear panel 22 around the through hole 21. At least a part of the support chamber 3 extends from the end face of the first end portion 31 toward the steering wheel 1 side in a direction perpendicular to the rear panel 22. At an inflation time of 40-50ms the support chamber 3 starts to inflate fully against the upper edge of the hub 11 and at an inflation time of 60ms the support chamber 3 completes inflating supporting the upper part of the main chamber 2 preventing excessive forward tilting of the main chamber 2 for better occupant restraint.
As shown in fig. 6, the through hole 21 is provided with a gas check structure, so that the gas in the main chamber 2 forms a unidirectional flow from the main chamber 2 to the support chamber 3. The steering wheel airbag of claim 6, wherein the gas check structure comprises a tapered fabric check valve communicating with the through hole, a large diameter end of the fabric check valve connecting with the through hole, the fabric check valve extending from the through hole location into the support chamber.
