Background
With the strengthening of the country to the environmental protection and the increasing of the environmental awareness of people and the guidance of market price trend, the water-based acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive becomes an important development in the present stage as an advertisement sticker with back adhesive.
The traditional back adhesive mainly comprises oily acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive, but a large amount of solvent is volatilized in the drying process, so that not only is the waste of raw materials, but also certain pollution is caused to the environment, and harm is brought to people, animals and plants, so that people try to replace the oily pressure-sensitive adhesive with the aqueous pressure-sensitive adhesive in recent years; however, the aqueous acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive is prone to some problems during use: the main manifestations are in two aspects: firstly, the method comprises the following steps: the comprehensive performance of the water-based acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive is inferior to that of the oil-based pressure-sensitive adhesive; II, secondly: in the transfer coating process of the water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, oil shrinkage is easily generated on the surface of the silicone oil paper, the distribution state of the adhesive film of the product is influenced, and the wetting property of the water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive needs to be improved by adding a large amount of wetting agent.
The Chinese invention patent with the publication number of CN112661900A discloses a styrene-acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive for a protective film, a preparation method thereof, a styrene-acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for the protective film and application thereof, wherein styrene and acrylate monomers are used for preparing the protective film for protection on the surfaces of products such as fluorocarbon aluminum profiles, electrophoretic paint aluminum profiles, stainless steel, glass, household appliances, anodic aluminum oxide profiles and the like, but the prepared pressure-sensitive adhesive is easy to generate oil shrinkage phenomenon in the use process and influences the distribution state of adhesive films of the products.
To address the coating and wetting properties of pressure sensitive adhesives at this stage, it remains a challenge for researchers.

And (3) permanent adhesion testing: the test was carried out according to GB/T4851-1998, expressed as the drop time.
And the above performance test results are recorded in table 2 below;
table 1:
the performance test results show that: under the condition that the wetting agent and the thickening agent are matched, the prepared pressure-sensitive adhesive has good wetting performance, basically has no shrinkage cavity and shrinkage edge within 5s, meets the requirement of production transfer coating, and is also suitable for transfer coating of release paper.
Table 2:
the performance test results show that the pressure-sensitive adhesive prepared by the method has better performance, can completely meet the application requirement of cold film mounting, and has better applicability under the mediation of the wetting system, no matter styrene-acrylic, pure acrylic and vinyl acetate acrylic emulsions, the requirement of transfer coating can be met.
