Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a block diagram of an electronic device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The electronic device 100 may be, but is not limited to, a smart phone, a tablet computer, etc. The electronic device 100 may include a memory 110, a processor 120, and a communication unit 130. The elements of the memory 110, the processor 120 and the communication unit 130 are electrically connected to each other directly or indirectly to realize data transmission or interaction. For example, the components may be electrically connected to each other via one or more communication buses or signal lines.
The memory 110 is used to store programs or data. The Memory 110 may be, but is not limited to, a Random Access Memory (RAM), a Read Only Memory (ROM), a Programmable Read-Only Memory (PROM), an Erasable Read-Only Memory (EPROM), an electrically Erasable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM), and the like.
The processor 120 is used to read/write data or programs stored in the memory 110 and perform corresponding functions. For example, the memory 110 stores therein the data connection management apparatus 200, and the data connection management apparatus 200 includes at least one software functional module which can be stored in the memory 110 in the form of software or firmware (firmware). The processor 120 executes various functional applications and data processing by running software programs and modules stored in the memory 110, such as the data connection management apparatus 200 in the embodiment of the present application, so as to implement the data connection management method in the embodiment of the present application.
The communication unit 130 is used to establish a communication connection between the electronic apparatus 100 and another communication terminal through a network, and to transceive data through the network.
It should be understood that the structure shown in fig. 1 is only a schematic structural diagram of the electronic device 100, and the electronic device 100 may also include more or fewer components than shown in fig. 1, or have a different configuration than shown in fig. 1. The components shown in fig. 1 may be implemented in hardware, software, or a combination thereof.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a data connection management method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method may be applied to the electronic device 100. The following describes a specific flow of the data connection management method in detail. The method may include step S110 and step S120.
Step S110, when the electronic device 100 is in the roaming state and uses the data traffic, determining whether each data connection that needs to use the data traffic in the electronic device 100 belongs to a preset data connection.
Step S120, for a data connection not belonging to the preset data connection, immediately closing the data connection.
The electronic device 100 in the roaming state may generate a relatively high cost when using the data traffic. When the electronic device 100 in the roaming state is using data traffic or is going to use data traffic, for each data connection that needs to use data traffic in the electronic device 100, whether the data connection belongs to the preset data connection may be determined by comparing the data connection with the data connection included in the preset data connection or by other means.
The data connection that needs to use the data traffic may be a data connection that is using the data traffic, or a data connection that is not used yet but is expected to use the data traffic. The predetermined data connection is a data connection that is not immediately closed when the electronic device 100 is in a roaming state and using data traffic. The specific data connection included in the preset data connection may be dynamic (for example, a data connection in downloading), or may be fixed, or may be partly dynamic and partly fixed. The specific data connection included in the preset data connection can be set according to actual requirements. For example, the preset data connection is set according to the user requirement, so that the normal use of the user is not influenced when the management is performed according to the preset data connection. Alternatively, the preset data connection may be preset by a user using the electronic device 100, or preset by a worker.
In case it is determined that a data connection is required in the electronic device 100 that uses data traffic but does not belong to the predetermined data connection, this may be immediately closed for such data connection. That is, the data connection that needs to use the data traffic but does not belong to the preset data connection in the electronic device 100 is immediately closed. Optionally, the data connection may be closed immediately when a data connection not belonging to the preset data connection is determined; it is also possible to close the part of the data connections immediately after determining all data connections not belonging to the preset data connection. It is understood that the above-mentioned closing manner is only an example, and may be determined according to actual conditions.
When the electronic device is in a roaming state and uses data traffic, generally, all data connections that need to use the data traffic in the electronic device are not disconnected, that is, remain connected, so that the electronic device consumes a large amount of data traffic. In the embodiment of the present application, the data connection that needs to use the data traffic but does not belong to the preset data connection in the electronic device 100 is immediately closed, so that the data traffic consumption caused by the part of the data connection can be reduced, and the data traffic consumed by the electronic device 100 in the roaming state can be reduced; meanwhile, the data connection belonging to the preset data connection is not closed immediately, and the corresponding requirements of users can be met.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a second schematic flowchart of a data connection management method according to an embodiment of the present application. Before step S110, the method may further include step S101.
Step S101, determining whether the electronic device 100 is in a roaming state and can use data traffic according to the network information of the electronic device 100 and the state of the roaming switch of the electronic device 100.
The state of the roaming switch indicates whether or not to allow (i.e., enable) use of the data traffic in the roaming state. For example, if the roaming switch is turned on, it indicates that the data traffic is allowed to be used in the roaming state; when the roaming switch is turned off, it means that the data traffic is not allowed to be used in the roaming state. Whether the electronic device 100 is in the roaming state may be determined according to the network information of the electronic device 100. The network information may include an ERI (Extended Roaming Indicators) value or PLMN (Public land mobile network) information, which may be specifically determined by a network system used by the electronic device 100.
When the network format used by the electronic device 100 is CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), the network information may include an ERI value of the electronic device 100, where the ERI value is a value reported by a network side. The ERI value may be compared with a range of ERI values corresponding to a preconfigured roaming state, and if the ERI value is within the range of ERI values corresponding to the roaming state, it may be determined that the electronic device 100 is in the roaming state.
When the network standard used by the electronic device 100 is GSM (Global System For Mobile Communications) or LTE (Long Term Evolution), the network information may include PLMN information. The PLMN information is a PLMN value reported by a network side. In the case where the electronic device 100 is in a GSM network or an LTE network, it may be determined whether the electronic device 100 is in a roaming state according to PLMN information. Optionally, the PLMN value reported by the network side may be compared with an EHPLMN (Equivalent Home PLMN) value stored in the card of the electronic device 100, and if the reported PLMN value is different from the stored EHPLMN value, that is, the reported PLMN value is not in the stored EHPLMN value, it may be determined that the electronic device 100 is in the roaming state.
Optionally, as an optional implementation, the screen status of the electronic device 100 may be detected first. Wherein the screen status may be detected when the electronic device 100 is in a roaming state and is capable of using data traffic. It is understood that the above description is only an example, and the specific execution time for detecting the screen state is not limited herein.
In the case that the screen of the electronic device 100 is in the off-screen state, the data connection in the electronic device 100 that requires the data traffic may be directly closed, thereby avoiding traffic consumption caused by maintaining the data connection when the user does not use the electronic device 100.
In a case where the screen of the electronic device 100 is in a bright screen state, the above steps S110 to S120 may be performed, so that traffic consumption caused by maintaining some unnecessary data connections when the user uses the electronic device 100 may be avoided.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a third schematic flow chart of a data connection management method according to an embodiment of the present application. After step S110, the method may further include step S130.
Step S130, managing the data connection belonging to the preset data connection according to a preset control policy.
And for the data connection of which the electronic device 100 needs to use the data traffic and which belongs to the preset data connection, managing the data connection according to a preset control policy configured in advance. The preset control policy is used to ensure that the data connection that needs to use data traffic in the electronic device 100 is closed as far as possible without affecting the use of the user, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the data traffic consumed in the roaming state. The preset control strategy can be specifically set according to actual requirements.
As an alternative, the preset data connection may include a data connection of a streaming media application (streaming music). The specific streaming media application can be set according to actual requirements, such as a music application, a navigation application, and the like. For a data connection in the electronic device 100, which is a data connection of the streaming media application, when the streaming media application corresponding to the data connection enters a background, prompt information is displayed. That is, in the case of using data traffic in the roaming state, the streaming media application displays the prompt information once entering the background. And the prompt information is used for prompting whether to close the data connection of the streaming media application entering the background. The user can determine whether to turn off or keep according to actual needs. After the prompt message is displayed, the data connection of the streaming media application entering the background can be closed or maintained according to the received control operation.
For example, if the control operation input by the user is hold, the data connection of the streaming media application is not disconnected, that is, is not closed, when the streaming media application enters the background, and the streaming media application uses the data traffic in the roaming state and when the streaming media application enters the background. Correspondingly, if the control operation input by the user is off, the data connection of the streaming media application is disconnected when the streaming media application enters the background, and the data traffic cannot be used when the streaming media application is in a roaming state and enters the background. Therefore, the situation that the streaming media application entering the background continuously uses the data flow in the roaming state under the condition that the user does not sense the streaming media application can be avoided.
The following examples are given. For example, the preset streaming media application includes a music application 1, and when a certain data connection that needs to use data traffic in the electronic device 100 is a data connection corresponding to the music application 1, once the music application 1 enters the background, prompt information for prompting whether to close the data connection of the music application 1 is displayed. And closes the data connection of the application 1 or maintains the data connection of the music application 1 according to the received control operation.
As another alternative, the preset data connection may include a data connection in download. For a data connection in the electronic device 100 that needs to use data traffic and is under download, the data connection is maintained, and the data connection is closed after the download is completed. Therefore, the downloading requirement of the user can be met, the use of the user is not influenced, and meanwhile, the flow consumption caused by the fact that the data connection is still kept after the downloading is finished can be avoided.
As another optional implementation, the preset data connection includes a data connection that the corresponding application is in the foreground and is in the upload. For the data connection in the electronic device 100 that needs to use data traffic and the corresponding application is in the foreground and is in the upload, the data connection is maintained, that is, the data connection is not disconnected. Therefore, the requirement that the user uploads the application through the application in use can be met.
In another alternative embodiment, the predetermined data connection may include a predetermined short connection. The specific data connection corresponding to the preset short connection can be set according to actual requirements. For example, The preset short connection specifically includes data connection of MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), data connection of OTA (Over The Air), and The like.
As another optional implementation, the preset data connection includes a data connection corresponding to a preset application. And maintaining the data connection aiming at the data connection of which the quantity of the data is required to be used in the electronic equipment 100 and the corresponding application is the preset application. That is, data traffic may be used in a roaming environment without restriction for some specific applications. Optionally, the application identifier of the preset application may be stored in an Exception list, so as to determine whether a certain data connection is a data connection of the preset application according to the Exception list.
In practical applications, the preset data connection may include at least any one of a data connection of the preset streaming media application, a data connection in downloading, a data connection corresponding to the preset streaming media application in foreground and in uploading, a preset short connection, and a data connection corresponding to the preset application, and the data connection is managed according to the corresponding specific control mode, so as to achieve a purpose of reducing a data flow used in a roaming state.
For example, in a possible implementation manner, the preset data connection includes a data connection of the preset streaming media application, a data connection in downloading, a data connection corresponding to the preset application in foreground and in uploading, a preset short connection, and a data connection corresponding to the preset application (when the preset data connection includes the data connection of the preset streaming media application, the preset application may be a specific application that is not the preset streaming media). In this case, step S110 indicates that, for each data connection that uses data traffic, it is determined whether the data connection is one of a data connection of a preset streaming media application included in the preset data connection, a data connection in downloading, a data connection corresponding to the application in foreground and in uploading, a preset short connection, and a data connection corresponding to a preset application. If not, the data connection is closed. If so, performing the relation on the data connection according to the specific control mode corresponding to the data connection, for example, determining that the data connection is the data connection in downloading, keeping the data connection, and closing the data connection after the downloading is completed; if the data connection is other data connection, the corresponding description above may be referred to, and is not repeated herein.
When the application corresponding to the closed data connection returns to the foreground and the screen of the electronic device 100 is in a bright screen state, the data can be reconnected, and the closed data connection is restored by using the data traffic, so that the application corresponding to the closed data connection can be normally used.
In case the electronic device 100 enters the non-roaming state, all data connections in the electronic device 100 may be activated, for example, data connections of applications in the background and data connections of applications in the foreground, etc.
Optionally, in a case that the electronic device 100 may use WiFi (Wireless-Fidelity, Wireless network), the electronic device 100 uses a WiFi network and does not use mobile data traffic, that is, all data connections in the electronic device 100 use the WiFi network and do not use mobile data traffic, thereby reducing mobile data traffic consumed in a roaming environment.
In order to execute the corresponding steps in the above embodiment and each possible manner, an implementation manner of the data connection management apparatus 200 is given below, and optionally, the data connection management apparatus 200 may adopt the device structure of the electronic device 100 shown in fig. 1.
