Further, when the preview images of the digital contents associated with the selected theme tag are displayed on the digital content preview page, the corresponding preview images may determine the display order of the preview images according to one of the distance, the matching degree of the activity data and the personalized features, an arbitrary combination thereof, or a weight distribution thereof. According to the above embodiment, when the servo system provides the preview images 705-714 of the plurality of digital contents through the digital content preview page 70, wherein the plurality of preview images 705-714 can be sorted according to several pointers, for example, the distance between the position information associated with the digital contents and the position information generated by the user device can be sorted according to the distance after the preview image with the highest priority from the nearest one; the ranking may also be based on activity data (e.g., time) of the user associated with the digital content to be previewed in the social media, for example, the user may have activity (e.g., like approval, sharing, or leaving a message) in the last period of time or have a high number of activities as a priority; the order of the digital contents to be recommended can also be arranged according to the interest characteristics of the user learned by the servo system, and the closest characteristic is to display the preview image preferentially. Furthermore, the above-mentioned distance, activity data and user interest are sorted according to the display order of the preview images 705-714, which can be assigned with a weight.
Then, the user can select to view one of the digital contents from the preview images 705-714, and the servo system receives a digital content selection and plays a digital content playing page initiated by the browsing procedure (step S611), as shown in the embodiment of the digital content playing page shown in fig. 8. FIG. 8 shows a digital content playback page 80 showing the digital content being played, along with other information such as user thumbnails 801 and other user interaction information 803 associated with the digital content.
According to the embodiment, the user device receives a plurality of theme volume labels provided by the servo system through a browsing program executed on the user device, wherein the theme volume labels are mainly descriptions marked when each digital content is created and uploaded to the servo system, or descriptions marked by the servo system actively according to digital content features, and further, the theme volume labels can be marked with a specific geographic location, such as a scenic spot, a landmark and the like.
In general, the servo system continuously obtains the position information from the user device and the position range covered by the user interface, so that when the position information changes, such as the position information of the user device changes, or the corresponding frame generated changes are provided according to the user operation, such as zooming in, zooming out, dragging up, down, left, and right, to obtain the position range to be browsed, a new position range is determined again, and the database is queried again to obtain updated one or more locality digital contents, corresponding one or more locality linked thumbnails, and associated one or more theme labels, so as to update the links of the one or more theme labels displayed on the user interface. Furthermore, the server system continuously collects and learns the records of various digital contents browsed by the user through the browsing program during operation, continuously analyzes and learns new browsing records, establishes and updates a personalized preference model describing the personalized features, and provides one or more theme labels to the user device in a personalized and suitable manner according to the personalized preference model.
For example, when the servo system obtains the first position information generated by the user device through the browsing program, the first position information may be the current position of the user or the information of the position range browsed by operating the user device, so that the first position information is associated with a first coordinate range. The servo system then queries the database according to the location information to obtain one or more proper digital contents associated with the first coordinate range, and obtains one or more theme tags of each proper digital content according to the associated theme tags recorded in the database, and then forms the theme tag links 501, 502, 503 shown in the figure of fig. 5. When the user operates the user device to change the position or change the position range to be browsed, the servo system receives second position information different from the first position information from the browsing program, and similarly, the second position information is associated with a second coordinate range, and at the moment, the digital content corresponding to the second coordinate range can be calculated again, and the theme volume label recommended to the user can be regenerated. When the user repeatedly adjusts the position range, the servo system also calculates the new theme label synchronously.
However, in one embodiment, the server system may also provide a method for saving computing resources, such as calculating a difference range between the second coordinate range and the first coordinate range, calculating the digital content and the theme tag only for the difference range, and combining the calculated difference range to generate a new theme tag recommended to the user, or omitting the calculation if the difference range does not reach a range T . Fig. 9 and 10 provide another embodiment.
Referring to fig. 10, a flowchart of an embodiment of forming a recommended theme tag according to fig. 9 can be seen, in which the map is divided into a plurality of blocks (step S901), wherein the blocks are divided into a plurality of blocks (step S1-M24) according to the computing power of the server system and the user' S habit of operating the browsing program (not necessarily rectangular). Next, when the servo system receives the digital content and the corresponding theme tag uploaded by each user at a certain position around the world or region (step S903), a block to which the user belongs can be determined according to the position information, and the block connected with the theme tag is marked in the database by an index (step S905).
Then, when the servo system receives the location information uploaded by each end user device through the browsing program, one or more blocks covered within the corresponding coordinate range can be obtained by querying the database (step S907), one or more covered local digital contents and corresponding theme labels can be obtained from the covered one or more blocks (step S909), the theme labels can meet the relevant conditions described in the above embodiment, and then one or more theme labels are provided after ranking (step S911). In the servo system, a personalized feature can be obtained according to the user identification data of the browsing program, one or more local digital contents in the position range can be screened out according to the personalized feature, and one or more local connection contracted drawings displayed in the browsing program can be correspondingly obtained.
Compared with the method that the servo system inquires the covered digital content and calculates the recommended subject label according to the position range each time, the method of the flow display can save the computing resource. It is noted that, in addition to the above-mentioned popularity, timeliness, and user personalization features, the subject label recommended to the user by calculation in the servo system can be actively provided by the servo system, such as a region close to the user's location, an adjacent region, a subject label with a larger range than the region under browsing, or a specific subject label with season, holiday, and commercial advertisement related features. Furthermore, in one of the above embodiments, when the system recommends the theme volume corresponding to the location range according to the location of the user, the theme volume beyond the location range may be provided for a specific purpose, for example, the system may recommend the user to know more peripheral geographical ranges according to the preference of the user, and expand the recommended theme volume to other areas centering on the current location, for example, when the user is browsing a geographical range mainly in the New York (New York) area, the servo system calculates the recommended theme volume, and may expand to adjacent areas such as Philadelphia and Washington DC, so that the range of the calculated theme volume may cover a wider geographical range.
In summary, according to the method and system for recommending location-based digital content described in the above embodiments, a social media service is provided, which allows a user to conveniently obtain a location-related recommended topic tag, allows the user to quickly link to various recommended digital contents through the system-recommended topic tag, and can screen out location-based digital contents within a specific location range according to personalized features, and allows the user to conveniently view videos, sounds, images or texts reported or recorded by multiple users and uploaded in association with the location, and when a servo system continuously collects and learns the records of various digital contents browsed by the user through a browsing program, a location-based personalized preference model describing personalized features can be established and updated to recommend location-based and personalized preferred digital contents.

Claims (20)

1. A method for recommending location-based digital content, which is executed in a server system, the method comprising:
receiving position information generated by a browsing program executed on a user device, wherein the browsing program is used for browsing digital contents containing the position information;
judging a position range according to the position information, and obtaining one or more suitable digital contents in the position range after inquiring a database; and
providing the one or more theme labels to the user device and displaying the one or more theme labels linked to the user interface initiated by the browser application.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the servo system continuously obtains the location information and the location range covered by the user interface from the user device, and when the servo system determines that there is a new location range, the servo system re-queries the database to obtain updated one or more location-based digital contents and associated one or more subject labels, so as to update the link of the one or more subject labels displayed on the user interface.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the new location range is formed when the location information changes or the user interface is zoomed in, zoomed out, or dragged up, down, left, or right.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein when determining the location range according to the location information to obtain the one or more location-adaptive digital contents within the location range, the servo system further queries the database for a larger location range beyond the location range, such that calculating the recommended one or more subject labels further expands to a wider location range based on the location information.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the browsing program forms a graphical user interface with an electronic map as a background for browsing digital content containing location information.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of topic tags provided to the user device are ranked by a ranking to obtain one or more top-ranked topic tags whose links are displayed on the user interface, wherein the ranking of the plurality of topic tags is based on one or any combination of a number of digital contents, a number of followers, a number of plays, a rating, and an authoring time associated with each topic tag.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein a personalized feature is derived in the server system according to a user identification data of the browsing procedure, so as to filter out the one or more suitable digital contents within the location range according to the personalized feature.
8. The method of claim 1 wherein the servo system collects and learns records of various digital contents browsed by the user using the browsing program, and continuously analyzes and learns new browsing records to build an adaptive personalized preference model describing a personalized feature for providing the adaptive and personalized theme label or labels to the user device according to the adaptive personalized preference model.
9. The method of claim 1, wherein after a link of one of the theme tabs displayed in the user interface is selected, displaying preview images of one or more digital contents associated with the selected theme tab in a preview page, wherein the display order of the preview images is determined according to one of a distance, a matching degree of activity data and a personalized feature, an arbitrary combination thereof, or a weight distribution thereof.
10. The method of any one of claims 1-9, wherein the step of deriving the one or more subject tags for the one or more location-based digital contents within the location range comprises:
judging one or more blocks covered by the position range; and
querying the database to obtain the one or more local digital contents covered by the one or more blocks and corresponding one or more subject labels;
the servo system receives the location-adaptive digital contents uploaded by a user in each region of the world or the region, namely, the servo system judges the block to which the user belongs according to the location information of each digital content, so that one or more theme volume labels related to each digital content are connected with the block to which the user belongs and are stored in the database.
11. A system for recommending location-adaptive digital content, the system comprising:
a servo system, which is provided with a database, wherein the database stores user identification data of a plurality of users, a plurality of location-adaptive digital contents uploaded by the users, and one or more theme volume labels associated with each digital content; and
a browsing program executed on a user device for connecting the servo system to browse the proper digital content provided by the servo system;
wherein the method for recommending the location-based digital content in the servo system comprises the following steps:
receiving position information generated by the browsing program, wherein the browsing program is used for browsing digital contents containing the position information;
judging a position range according to the position information, and obtaining one or more suitable digital contents in the position range after the database is inquired; and
providing the one or more theme labels to the user device and displaying the one or more theme labels linked to the user interface initiated by the browser application.
12. The system of claim 11, wherein when the servo system determines the location range according to the location information to obtain the one or more location-adaptive digital contents within the location range, the servo system further queries the database for a larger location range beyond the location range, such that the one or more recommended subject labels are further expanded to a wider location range based on the location information.
13. The system of claim 11 wherein the server system continuously obtains the location information and the location range covered by the user interface from the user device, and when the server system determines that there is a new location range, the server system re-queries the database to obtain updated one or more location-specific digital content and associated one or more subject labels, such that the links of the one or more subject labels displayed on the user interface are updated.
14. The system of claim 13, wherein the new location range is formed when the location information changes or the user interface is manipulated to zoom in, zoom out, or drag up, down, left, or right.
15. The system of claim 11, wherein the browsing program forms a graphical user interface against an electronic map for browsing digital content containing location information.
16. The system of claim 11, wherein the plurality of topic tags provided to the user device are ranked to obtain one or more top-ranked topic tags by displaying links to the one or more top-ranked topic tags on the user interface; the plurality of topic tags are ranked according to one or any combination of the number of the plurality of digital contents, the number of followers, the playing times, the evaluation and the creation time associated with each topic tag.
17. The system of claim 11, wherein in the server system, a personalized feature is derived based on a user identification data of the browsing procedure to filter out the one or more suitable digital contents within the location range according to the personalized feature.
18. The system of claim 17 wherein the servo system collects and learns records of various digital contents browsed by the user using the browsing program, and continuously analyzes and learns new browsing records to establish an adaptive personalized preference model describing the personalized features, so as to provide the adaptive and personalized theme label or labels to the user device according to the adaptive personalized preference model.
19. The system of claim 11, wherein after a link of one of the theme tabs displayed in the ui is selected, displaying preview images of one or more digital contents associated with the selected theme tab in a preview page, wherein the display order of the preview images is determined according to one of a distance, a matching degree of activity data and a personalized feature, an arbitrary combination thereof, or a weight distribution thereof.
20. The system of any one of claims 11-19, wherein deriving one or more subject labels for the one or more location-based digital content within the location range comprises:
judging one or more blocks covered by the position range; and
querying the database to obtain the one or more local digital contents covered by the one or more blocks and corresponding one or more subject labels;
the servo system receives the location-adaptive digital contents uploaded by a user in each region of the world or the region, namely, the servo system judges the block to which the user belongs according to the location information of each digital content, so that one or more theme volume labels related to each digital content are connected with the block to which the user belongs and are stored in the database.
