In orthodontic treatment, the bonding strength of the bracket on the tooth surface of a patient is a more critical technology. During conventional orthodontic treatment, each bracket is bonded directly to the tooth surface of the corresponding tooth of the patient by the physician. Such an operation may result in inaccurate and unstable bonding of the bracket to the tooth surface. Therefore, with the development of digital orthodontic technology, the bracket indirect bonding positioner appears in the orthodontic field. The general work flow is as follows: firstly, scanning the relation of the malocclusion teeth of a patient by using a scanner to obtain a digital model, then marking the bonding position of a bracket on the digital model by using orthodontic software, designing an orthodontic positioner structure capable of bonding the bracket to a specified position, and finally processing a personalized orthodontic positioner by using a 3D printer for indirect bonding by a clinician. The personalized bracket indirect bonding positioner utilizes digital tooth arrangement and 3D printing technology, realizes accurate positioning of the bracket, greatly shortens the time beside a chair for directly bonding the bracket manually, and brings convenient operation for doctors.
In the traditional orthodontic treatment, a doctor needs to determine a good bonding position by clinical experience, the bonding position is the key of the orthodontic treatment, but the bonding strength is also a factor which must be considered. In order to provide a snug fit of the bracket web base to the patient's tooth surface, the physician typically habitually presses the bracket during bonding to provide a more snug fit to the patient's tooth surface. Due to the operation, most of the adhesive can overflow, so that the adhesive between the bracket net bottom and the tooth surface of the patient is reduced, the adhesive strength is further reduced, meanwhile, a large amount of adhesive remains on the tooth surface of the patient due to the existence of a large amount of overflow glue, and the excessive glue cleaning also occupies a large amount of time beside the chair of a doctor.
Similarly, when the cooperation just abnormal locator uses, some bracket position and patient flank of tooth distance can be too big, and the doctor presses just abnormal locator in addition, also can lead to the uncertainty in bracket net bottom and patient flank of tooth clearance like this, and the binder can be too much when the distance is too big to lead to the adhesion to descend, still can make the excessive glue remain on patient flank of tooth. Thus, the correction effect is finally influenced, and unnecessary doctor-patient contradiction is caused.
In order to improve the technical problem, the following embodiments provide an orthodontic aligner and a method for using the orthodontic aligner, which improve glue overflow in bonding.
Referring to fig. 1, the present embodiment provides an orthodontic aligner 10 for improving glue overflow during bonding, which includes a clamp end 100, an alignment end 200, and at least one support post 300.
The positioning end 200 and the clamp end 100 are oppositely arranged;
the clamp end 100 is provided with a concave structure 101 for placing a bracket, and the opening of the concave structure 101 faces the positioning end 200;
the support post 300 is disposed on the clamp end 100, and the support post 300 extends toward the locating end 200 for abutting the tooth surface of a patient such that the mesh bottom surface of the bracket in the clamp end 100 is maintained at a predetermined spacing from the tooth surface.
According to the scheme, the supporting columns 300 are arranged on the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving the glue overflow in the bonding process, so that when the orthodontic positioner is matched with teeth, the supporting columns 300 abut against the tooth surfaces, and the bottom surfaces of the groove supporting nets on the clamp ends 100 can keep a preset distance with the tooth surfaces all the time. Because of the support pillar 300, the clamp end 100 can keep a preset distance from the tooth surface, when the bracket is placed in the concave structure of the clamp end 100, even if a doctor squeezes the orthodontic positioner, the bottom surface of the net of the bracket can keep a distance from the tooth surface, so that the problems that the adhesive overflows due to the fact that the bracket is squeezed towards the tooth surface, the adhesive force is reduced, and a large amount of adhesive overflows are avoided.
Further, the supporting column 300 and the fixture end 100 are matched with each other, and the supporting column 300 of the orthodontic positioner corresponding to each tooth can keep a preset distance between the corresponding bracket and the tooth surface when the tooth surface is abutted by the supporting column 300 of the orthodontic positioner corresponding to each tooth through scanning the tooth digital model and adjusting parameters before the orthodontic positioner is manufactured. Therefore, the distance between the bracket corresponding to each tooth and the tooth surface can be kept, the bonding force of the bonding agent of the bracket and the tooth surface is prevented from being reduced, the condition of glue overflowing at four positions is avoided, and the bonding stability of the bracket and the cleanness of the tooth surface are further ensured.
It can be seen that the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving glue overflow in bonding has the advantages of simple structure, convenient use and low cost, can be obtained by improving the existing orthodontic positioner, and is beneficial to large-scale manufacture and remarkable in economic benefit.
Please continue to refer to fig. 1-3 for further details of the structure of the orthodontic retainer 10 for improving the adhesive overflow.
As can be seen in the figures, in this embodiment of the invention, the support post 300 is disposed at the side of the clamp end 100. Compared with the support column 300 arranged at other positions, the scheme that the support column 300 is arranged at the side surface of the clamp end 100 enables the clamp end 100 of the orthodontic positioner for placing the bracket to be directly supported when the orthodontic positioner is matched with the tooth, so that the net bottom of the bracket can be kept at a preset distance from the tooth surface. Simultaneously, set up support column 300 in the side and can avoid support column 300 to the interference in support groove, avoid the interference of support column 300 when holding in the palm the groove bonding, can be when guaranteeing to hold in the palm the groove net bottom and the flank of tooth and keep predetermineeing the interval, make to hold in the palm the groove and can conveniently bond with the flank of tooth, still be convenient for simultaneously make things convenient for medical personnel to observe the bonding condition, strike off the bonding agent that a small part exposes and the cleanliness of further flank of tooth, relative prior art can reduce the chair side time, improved patient's satisfaction when having ensured that the support groove bonds firmly.
Further, in the present embodiment, the supporting pillar 300 has a gap with the outer sidewall of the clamp end 100. Such mode of setting up can make things convenient for the preparation, can realize processing the improvement of obtaining this scheme and glue overflow just abnormal locator 10 in bonding based on current just abnormal locator, processing is convenient, the transformation is with low costs. And the adjustment of the parameters is small, convenient and quick when the 3D printer is used for printing.
Optionally, the support post 300 remains parallel to the outer sidewall of the clamp end 100.
As can also be seen, the end of the support post 300 is disposed at the clamp end 100 by a mount. Further, the cross-sectional area of the mount is larger than that of the support post 300, so that the support post 300 can be more stably disposed on the clamp end 100. Optionally, the support post 300 is cylindrical.
It is noted that the plurality of support posts 300 of the orthodontic aligner 10 to improve the glue flow during bonding are symmetrically disposed on both sides of the opening of the female structure 101. The arrangement mode enables the clamp end 100 to stably abut against the tooth surface, so that the mesh bottom surface and the tooth surface of the bracket can more stably and accurately keep the preset distance.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving glue overflow in bonding includes two support columns 300, the two support columns 300 are parallel to each other, and the two support columns 300 are symmetrically disposed on two sides of the concave structure 101.
It is understood that the support post 300 may be disposed in other ways in other embodiments of the present invention, such as disposing the support post 300 near the opening of the female structure 101 of the sub-clamp end 100, as long as the support post 300 can maintain the mesh bottom surface of the bracket in the clamp end 100 at a predetermined distance from the tooth surface, which is merely an example and not a limitation. Likewise, the support post 300 may not be parallel to the clamp end 100, and the two support posts 300 may be opposite, as just an example.
In this embodiment of the invention, after the bracket is placed in the female configuration 101, the support post 300 is held against the tooth surface so that the web bottom surface of the bracket is spaced 0.01-0.5 mm from the tooth surface. Preferably, the distance between the mesh bottom surface and the tooth surface of the bracket is 0.1 mm.
Through a large number of experiments, the inventor finds that the bonding strength of the adhesive is the maximum when the distance between the bracket net bottom and the tooth surface of a patient is about 0.1mm, and the glue overflow amount is relatively reduced.
As can be seen from fig. 1 and 2, in the present embodiment of the invention, the orthodontic aligner 10 for improving the glue overflow during the bonding further includes an overflow channel 400; the concave structure 101 comprises a bottom wall 110 and two upright walls 120 arranged at two sides of the bottom wall 110, wherein the bottom wall 110 and the upright walls 120 form an included angle; the clamp end 100 is provided with a receiving part 140 for storing glue overflowing when the bracket is bonded with a tooth surface; the overflow 400 is disposed on the concave structure 101, and the overflow 400 extends to the receiving portion 140.
The overflow channel 400 has the function of collecting a small part of overflow glue between the bottom surface of the denture base mesh and the tooth surface so as to avoid the overflow glue remaining on the tooth surface, thereby improving the cleanness of the tooth surface in the orthodontic process.
Further, as can be seen from the figures, in the present embodiment of the invention, the overflow 400 comprises a first groove 410, the first groove 410 extending in the height direction of the clamp end 100. The first groove 410 serves to guide the flash into the receiving portion 140 by gravity, thereby improving the cleaning property of the tooth surface.
Optionally, the first groove 410 is a straight groove, which is convenient for the machining and molding of the first groove 410 and can also improve the collection efficiency of the overflowed glue.
Specifically, in the present embodiment, the first groove 410 is disposed between the bottom wall 110 and the upright wall 120. Namely, the first groove 410 is located at the joint between the bottom wall 110 and the upright wall 120, such an arrangement can ensure the integrity of the bottom wall 110 and the upright wall 120, and can also improve the space utilization of the clamp end 100.
It should be understood that, in other embodiments, the first groove 410 may be a curved groove, or may be disposed on the surface of the bottom wall 110 and/or the upright wall 120, as long as the first groove 410 can guide the flash into the receiving portion 140, which is merely an example and is not limited thereto.
Further, in the present embodiment of the invention, the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving the glue overflow during the bonding further includes a supporting member 130, wherein the supporting member 130 is disposed between the two vertical walls 120; the overflow 400 also includes a second groove 420 provided on the support 130.
The support 130 is used to support the bottom of the bracket when it is placed in the female structure 101 so that the bracket can be stably placed on the clip end 100. The second groove 420 is provided to collect the excessive glue possibly occurring at the bottom of the bracket into the receiving portion 140.
In the present embodiment, the supporting member 130 and the bottom wall 110 have a gap, and the supporting member 130, the bottom wall 110 and the two standing walls 120 together enclose a recessed receiving portion 140. I.e., the second groove 420 is also extended to the receiving portion 140.
It can be seen that the cooperative fit of the first groove 410 and the second groove 420 can ensure that a small amount of glue overflowing during bracket bonding can be collected in time, and the glue is prevented from remaining on the tooth surface, so that the cleanness of the tooth surface is ensured.
As can also be seen in fig. 3, the orthodontic aligner 10 for improving the glue overflow during the bonding process further includes a tooth site marking 510 and a partition marking 520. The tooth position mark 510 and the partition mark 520 are both arranged on one side of the clamp end far away from the positioning end 200.
The design of the dental position mark 510 and the partition mark 520 can enable a doctor to distinguish the positioner from the teeth of a patient more clearly.
When the orthodontic positioner 10 is used, the personalized orthodontic positioner manufactured through 3D printing is matched with the teeth of a patient in height on the basis of the relation between malocclusion teeth in the oral cavity of the patient, and the glue overflow during bonding is improved.
When in bonding, the bracket is firstly arranged on the clamp of the orthodontic positioner, the bonding agent is coated on the bottom of the bracket net, and then the positioner is placed on the teeth of a patient to position the accurate position. The irradiation was carried out with an ultraviolet curing lamp. When irradiating, the orthodontic positioner of the corresponding tooth position is pressed, and the existence of the support column 300 ensures the distance between the bracket net bottom and the tooth surface of the patient.
Therefore, the overflowing resin adhesive can be prevented from being adhered to the orthodontic positioner to the maximum extent, dislocation is facilitated, meanwhile, the structural design of a larger space is reserved, and medical workers can observe the adhesion condition conveniently and scrape off a small amount of overflowing resin adhesive; the time beside the chair is reduced, and the satisfaction of the patient is improved.
In a second aspect, the present invention provides a method of using the orthodontic aligner 10 for improving glue overflow in bonding according to any one of the previous embodiments, the method comprising the steps of;
scanning the relation of the malocclusion teeth of the patient by using a scanner to obtain a digital model of the teeth of the patient;
arranging teeth of a patient according to a digital model, setting the distance between the mesh bottom surface of a bracket and the tooth surface of the patient to be a preset value (such as 0.1 mm), and printing by a 3D printer to obtain the orthodontic positioner with the support pillars 300 meeting the distance;
placing the bracket in the female structure 101 of the clamp end of the orthodontic aligner;
placing the orthodontic locator on the crown of the patient and bonding the bracket on the crown of the patient;
and (4) removing the orthodontic positioner to complete the positioning and fixing of the bracket on the dental crown.
Specifically, the method for using the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving glue overflow in bonding comprises the following steps:
the first step is as follows: and scanning the malocclusion tooth relationship of the patient by using a scanner to obtain a digital model.
The second step: the digital model is guided into software, teeth of a patient are arranged, the distance between the bracket net bottom and the tooth surface of the patient is set to be 0.1mm, a corresponding supporting column 300 is generated on the orthodontic positioner model, then an orthodontic positioner is generated in the software according to the tooth arrangement condition of the patient, the orthodontic positioner is guided into a 3D printer for printing, and the orthodontic positioner 10 for improving the glue overflow in the bonding is obtained after the printing.
The third step: the bracket is placed on the locator clamp.
The fourth step: bonding is carried out, specifically: acid etching to wash the tooth surface, blow-drying the tooth surface and insulating moisture, coating a proper amount of light-cured resin adhesive on the bottom of the bracket net, placing the orthodontic positioner on the crown of the tooth of the patient, and then pressing the orthodontic positioner from bottom to top in the front-to-back direction to enable the support pillar 300 to be tightly attached to the tooth surface;
and then the probe is used for scraping overflowing resin adhesive, the orthodontic positioner is continuously pressed for 10-20 seconds with the assistance of photocuring operation, so that the bracket is accurately and firmly bonded on the surface of the dental crown, and in the bonding process, due to the existence of gaps, the overflowing resin adhesive can be avoided to the greatest extent, the dislocation is convenient, and the medical personnel can observe the bonding condition and scrape the overflowing resin adhesive conveniently.
