Abstract
The invention relates to a contact-making device having an upper part which has, on its upper side, fixing means for a first machine, crane or carrier bar, and having a lower part which has, on its lower side, fixing means for articles to be carried or for lifting tools, such as carrier bars, wherein the upper side of the lower part or the lower side of the upper part has a centering projection which projects upwards, downwards or sideways, wherein the centering projection is located in a centering recess of the upper part or the lower part when the upper part and the lower part are fixed to one another, the centering projection and the centering recess have and/or are surrounded by an electrical contact and a mating contact, the centering projection and the centering recess being conical or truncated-cone-shaped, and the lower part has, on its lower side, at least three spring means, the spring means connects the underside with a fixing means for an article to be carried or for a lifting tool.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a contact-making device having an upper part which has, on its upper side, fastening means for a first machine, crane or load-carrying beam, and having a lower part which has, on its lower side, fastening means for an object to be carried or for a lifting means, such as a load-carrying beam, preferably for coupling a crane cable to a load.
Background
It is known to couple the load-bearing cross-beams of machines and vehicles or cranes to each other by means of fixing devices which have to be precisely aligned with each other and which are manually coupled and released. This requires a time consuming effort.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to provide a coupling device of the type mentioned at the outset which automatically achieves a precise alignment of the lower part with the upper part and thus continuously produces a reliable electrical contact.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by:
the upper side of the lower part or the lower side of the upper part has a centering projection projecting upwards, downwards or sideways, which is located in a centering recess of the upper part or the lower part when the upper part and the lower part are fixed to each other,
the centering protrusion and the centering recess have and/or are surrounded by an electrical contact and a mating contact,
-the centering protrusion and the centering recess are conical or frustoconical, and
the lower part has at least three spring means on its underside, which connect the underside with fixing means for the item to be carried or for a lifting tool.
Such a contact-making device enables a reliable and precisely aligned electrical connection of the lower part to the upper part to be achieved automatically without manual operation. The connection is largely insensitive to horizontal movements in the X/Y direction and to small lifting movements in the Z direction during operation. It is also important that the spring means achieve a constant contact pressure and prevent a mechanical overload of the component, in particular of the contacts, when the upper component is placed.

Detailed Description
The contact-making device according to the invention has an upper part 1 which has, on its upper side, fixing means in the form of a protective cover for a first machine, crane or carrier bar, and has a lower part 2 which has, on its lower side, fixing means in the form of a base 16 for a second machine, an object to be carried or a lifting tool (such as a carrier bar). The upper side of the lower part 2 or the lower side of the upper part has a centering projection 3 projecting upwards, downwards or sideways, which is located in a centering recess 4 of the upper part or the lower part when the upper part and the lower part are fixed to each other. The centering projections 3 and the centering recesses 4 are here conical or frustoconical in order to have the same dimensions to create a form-fitting connection.
The centering protrusion 3 and the centering recess 4 are surrounded by sixteen electrical contacts 17 and mating contacts 18, which are located in an integrally formed ring surface 19, 20, respectively, which coaxially surrounds the centering protrusion 3 and the centering recess 4. As soon as the contact-making device is closed and thus the two annular surfaces 19, 20 are superposed on one another, the contact 17 is contacted with the mating contact 18. The electrical contacts 17, 18 of the annular surfaces 19, 20 thus annularly surround the centering projections 3 and the centering recesses 4.
The reliable centering of the lower part 2 relative to the upper part 1 is preferably achieved by: the centering protrusions 3 and the centering recesses 4 are conical or frustoconical.
The upper part 1 and/or the lower part 2 have a cylindrical housing with the same diameter and with a cylindrical axis which is coaxial with the axis of the conical shape of the centering protrusion 13. The lower part 2 stands with its underside on at least three spring means 11, which connect the underside with fixing means 16 for the items to be carried. Preferably, said spring means is a helical compression spring 11.
The electrical contacts 17 and mating contacts 18 are preferably formed by replaceable cartridge cartridges.
The centering recess 4 of the upper part 1 is formed by a part 6, above which a fixing part 7 is fixed, which is damped by a spring element 8 relative to the part 6. Furthermore, the centering projection 3 is formed by a component 9, below which a lower structure 10 is fixed, which is cushioned with respect to the component 9 by means of compression springs 12 and which is carried by the three helical compression springs 11.
The wires of the electrical contacts 17 of the lower part 2 lead to the external electrical interface 29 of the lower part 4 and the wires of the electrical mating contacts 18 of the upper part 1 lead to the external electrical interface 30 of the upper part 4. In special cases, the electrical interfaces 29, 30 may be connected to each other.
In a further embodiment shown in fig. 4, the two annular surfaces 19, 20 have the shape of an identical annular circumferential wave W, which in particular has a sinusoidal course. This achieves a secure hold in all directions transverse to the center axis M in addition to the centering function of the centering projections 3 and the centering recesses 4.
In a further embodiment, not shown, the electrical contacts 17, 18 are not embedded in the annular faces 19, 20, but in the conical faces of the centering projection 3 and the centering recess 4.
Claims (12)
1. A contact-making apparatus having an upper part (1) which has, on its upper side, fixing means for a first machine, crane or carrying beam, and having a lower part (2) which has, on its lower side, fixing means for an object to be carried or for a lifting tool, such as a carrying beam, characterized in that,
-the upper side of the lower part (2) or the lower side of the upper part has a centering protrusion (3) protruding upwards, downwards or sideways, which is located in a centering recess (4) of the upper or lower part when the upper and lower parts are fixed to each other,
-the centering protrusion (3) and the centering recess (4) have an electrical contact and a mating contact (18) and/or the centering protrusion and the centering recess are surrounded by an electrical contact (17) and a mating contact (18),
-the centering protrusion (3) and the centering recess (4) are conical or frustoconical, and
-the lower part (2) has at least three spring means (11) on its underside, which connect the underside with fixing means (16) for the items to be carried or for a lifting tool.
2. Contact-making device according to claim 1, characterized in that each of the electrical contacts (17, 18) surrounds the centering protrusion (3) and the centering recess (4) in an annular manner.
3. Contact-making device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the upper part (1) and/or the lower part (2) has a cylindrical housing with the same diameter and with a cylindrical axis coaxial with the axis of the conical shape of the centering protrusion (3).
4. Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lower part (2) has at least three spring means (11) on its underside.
5. Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spring means is a helical compression spring (11).
6. Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the electrical contacts (17) and the mating contacts (18) are formed by replaceable cartridges.
7. Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the centering recess (4) of the upper part (1) is formed by a part (6) above which a fixing part (7) is fixed, which is damped by a spring element 8 with respect to the part (6).

Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the centring projection (3) is formed by a part (9) below which a substructure (10) is fixed, which is cushioned with respect to the part (9), in particular by a compression spring (12), and which is carried by a helical compression spring (11).
9. Contact-making device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the centring projection (3) and the centring recess (4) are surrounded coaxially to their central axis (M) by an integrally formed ring surface (19, 20), respectively.
10. Contact-making device according to claim 9, characterised in that each of said annular faces (19, 20) has an electrical contact (17, 18).
11. Contact-making device according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the ring surfaces (19, 20) each form a circumferential wave.
12. Contact-making device according to claim 11, characterised in that the encircling wave (W) has a sinusoidal course.
