Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. What has been described herein is merely a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention and other ways of implementing the invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the preferred embodiment and fall within the scope of the invention.
The present invention provides a mask which has durability and can maintain good air permeability after being washed by hands for many times, thereby being reusable. The mask according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the direction in which the mask faces the face of the user is "inside", and the direction in which the mask faces away from the face of the user is "outside".
As shown in fig. 1, according to one embodiment of the present invention, a mask 1 includes a mask body 10 and mask straps 20 fixed to both sides of the mask body 1. When the mask 1 is worn by a user, the mask body 10 covers the mouth and nose of the user, and the mask strap 20 may be hooked to the ear of the user or connected to the user by tying, fastening, or the like around the head of the user to fix the mask 1. The mask band 20 may be fixed to both sides of the mask body 1 by sewing or ultrasonic welding. In addition, the mask strip 20 may be provided with an adjustment buckle 21 for adjusting the length to accommodate different sized faces, and any one of the buckles available on the market that is capable of adjusting the length may be used.
Referring to fig. 2, according to the present invention, the mask body 10 includes at least four layers, and the four-layer structure is fixed together at the peripheral edges of the mask body 10 by means such as sewing or ultrasonic welding. Wherein, along the direction from the outside to the inside, the four-layer structure includes an outer layer 11, a first filter layer 12, a second filter layer 13, and an inner layer 14, respectively. The outer layer 11 is made of cotton fabric and is located at the outermost side of the mask body 10. The first and second filter layers 12, 13 may be collectively referred to as filter layers, both made of a microfiber (microfilament) material. The microfiber material has very high bacteria filtering effect and particle filtering effect, can still maintain the properties of good filtering performance, high absorption capacity, quick drying, high air permeability and the like after being washed by hands for many times, has good durability, and thus can meet the requirement of repeated use. Through verification, the mask disclosed by the invention can still keep good performance for normal use after 60 times of hand washing. The inner layer 14 is also made of cotton fabric. When worn, the inner layer 14 is in contact with the face of the user. The cotton fabric can ensure that the mask 1 has a comfortable skin touch. In one embodiment, the material of the inner layer 14 may be cotton poplin.
In order to improve the protective function of the mask 1, it is preferable that an antibacterial coating layer be formed on the outer surface of the outer layer 11 so that the mask 1 has an antibacterial function. Specifically, the antibacterial coating layer may be formed on the outer surface of the cotton fabric constituting the outer layer 11 by means of copper ion impregnation. In another embodiment, the cotton fabric constituting the outer layer 11 may be further treated with an antibacterial agent containing a silver ion polymer to form an antibacterial coating on the surface. The antimicrobial agent may be, for example, silver shield (Silverdur) or the like. Further, a waterproof coating layer may be coated on the outer surface of the outer layer 11, so that the mask 1 has a waterproof function, and the possibility of inward penetration of liquid from the outer surface of the mask body 1 is reduced.
The mask body 10 may be folded in half along the vertical fold 15 to reduce the space it occupies when stored. When the mask body 10 is unfolded, it is formed in a curved shape that protrudes outward. Thus, the mask body 10 may form a three-dimensional ergonomic structure having an accommodating space at the inner side thereof. When the mask 1 is worn by a user, the mask body 10 may be spaced apart from the face except where the edge of the mask body contacts the face of the user, so that the wearer can breathe smoothly to provide a more comfortable wearing experience.
Fig. 3 to 6 show a first configuration of the mask body 10. Wherein, the outer layer 11, the first filter layer 12, the second filter layer 13 and the inner layer 14 are formed by connecting two parts which are symmetrical relative to the crease 15. It is understood that, as an alternative embodiment, a configuration may be adopted in which at least one of the outer layer 11, the first filter layer 12, the second filter layer 13, and the inner layer 14 is formed by joining two portions symmetrical with respect to the fold 15.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the first filter layer 12 is exemplified by a first filter layer that includes two portions configured in a pocket shape, the two portions having an arcuate edge, and being spliced along the arcuate edge to form the first filter layer 12. The specific splicing mode can be sewing and other processes. The outer layer 11 may also be made by a similar structure as the first filter layer 12. Simultaneously with the splicing, the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 may be joined along the fold 15, i.e. the arcuate edges of the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 are aligned, joined together by one splicing action. With this arrangement, it is possible on the one hand to connect the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 at positions other than the edges, so that the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 fit better. On the other hand, the connection of the two along the folding line 15 can make the folding line 15 have certain strength, which is beneficial to keeping the three-dimensional curved shape of the mask body 10 when the mask is unfolded and avoiding the collapse when the mask is worn.
Referring again to fig. 5 and 6, the second filter layer 13 and the inner layer 14 may be made in a similar configuration to the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 described above. Also, the second filter layer 13 and the inner layer 14 may be connected along the fold 15 at the same time as the splicing. The difference is that the second filter layer 13 consists of two half-moon shaped parts. Wherein the second filter layer 13 has substantially the same size as the first filter layer 12 in a direction along the fold 15, but in a direction perpendicular to the fold 15, the second filter layer 13 extends bilaterally symmetrically from the fold 15 and is smaller than the size of the first filter layer 12. In other words the area of the second filter layer 13 is smaller than the area of the first filter layer 12. At this time, the second filter layer 13 is connected to the outer layer, the first filter layer 12 and the inner layer 14 at the upper and lower edges, and is not connected to the above-described three-layer structure at the left and right edges.
When the user wears the mask 1, the second filter layer 13 corresponds to the mouth and nose of the user, and the filtering performance at the position can be enhanced. In addition, the second filter layer 13 can enhance the strength of the mask 1 at the fold 15 and the two sides, which is beneficial to maintaining the three-dimensional curved shape when the mask is unfolded, and avoiding collapse. In addition, only the first filter layer 12 is a filter layer at other positions far away from the crease 15, which is beneficial to keeping the mask 1 good in breathability.
Of course, it will be appreciated that in other embodiments, the second filter layer 13 may have the same shape and area as the first filter layer 12.
Fig. 7 shows a second configuration of the mask body 10. The second filter layer 13 and the inner layer 14 are constructed in the same manner as shown in fig. 5 and 6. Except that the first filter layer 12 is made from a single piece of material. This can reduce the number of steps for processing the first filter layer 12, and is advantageous for improving the production efficiency. Alternatively, the outer layer 11 may be made of a single piece of material, similar to the first filter layer 12, or may be formed by curved edge splicing of two symmetrical sections about the fold 15, similar to the inner layer 14.
Fig. 8 shows a third configuration of the mask body 10, which mainly shows the constitution of the first filter layer 12 and the second filter layer 13. In this configuration, the first filter layer 12 and/or the second filter layer 13 are formed by two symmetrical parts with respect to the fold 15 by means of a curved edge splice, wherein the curved edge splice is an ultrasonic weld. This makes it possible to form the hard center seam 16, to enhance the strength of the mask 1 at the position of the fold 15, and to maintain the three-dimensional curved shape better, and to avoid collapse when worn. Further, regardless of the manner in which the first filter layer 12 and/or the second filter layer 13 are constructed (e.g., constructed from a unitary piece of material or from two pieces joined together), the first filter layer 12 and the second filter layer 13 may be ultrasonically welded at locations corresponding to the folds 15 and form a rigid center seam 16 that provides added strength.
Fig. 9 and 10 show another embodiment of the present invention, which is a mask 2 having substantially the same structure as the mask 1 described above, except that the mask 2 further includes a chin pad 30 connected to the lower edge of the mask body 10. In the unfolded state of the mask 2 shown in fig. 10, the chin patch 30 extends inward substantially in the horizontal direction. In the folded state shown in fig. 9, the chin pad 30 extends continuously along the arc of the mask body 10. The chin patch 30 may be sized to substantially cover the chin area of a human face. Can be like this when wearing with the chin parcel in gauze mask 2, increase gauze mask 2 to the area of coverage of face to provide better laminating degree. Preferably, the chin pad 30 may be made of a stretchable elastic material. So that the lower edge of the mask 2 is always closely attached to the face.
In the above embodiment, the first filter layer 12 is adjacent to the outer layer 11 and the second filter layer 13 is adjacent to the inner layer 14. However, it will be appreciated that, as an alternative embodiment, the first filter layer 12 may also be interchanged with the second filter layer 13, i.e. the second filter layer 13 is adjacent the outer layer 11 and the first filter layer 12 is adjacent the inner layer 14.
The foregoing description is provided to persons of ordinary skill in the relevant art for the purpose of illustration. It is not intended that the invention be limited to a single disclosed embodiment. As described above, those of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that there are many alternatives and variations of the present invention. Thus, while some alternative embodiments are specifically described, other embodiments will be apparent to, or relatively easily developed by, those of ordinary skill in the art. The invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications and variances and other embodiments of the invention described herein that fall within the spirit and scope of the above described invention.
