本申请公开了一种报文发送方法及相关设备,用于减少网络中流量工程隧道的数量,避免配置或管理复杂。本申请包括:一种报文发送方法,包括:网络设备获得第一报文,该第一报文的因特网协议扩展头中包括第一标识,该第一标识用于指示第一报文对应的业务要求,该网络设备根据第一标识和第二标识确定第一报文对应的路径指示信息,该第一报文的目的地址中包括第二标识,这里的路径指示信息包括网络切片标识和段标识列表中的一项或多项。该网络设备基于路径指示信息更新第一报文得到第二报文,并发送第二报文。
