In order to ensure the uniqueness of the set-top box 101 corresponding to the user data, as shown in fig. 3, the set-top box 101 includes: a first network module 1011 and an application module 1012. The first network module 1011 is configured to generate two-dimensional code picture information according to a network environment, where the two-dimensional code picture information includes a set top box 101 device number sequence; the application module 1012 is configured to install the television application into the television 104 according to the installation package name of the television application to be installed.
In specific implementation, a two-dimensional code picture can be generated by the first network module 1011 according to the current lan network environment, and the two-dimensional code picture contains the device number sequence of the set-top box 101, so that the user information of the application module 1012 can be uniquely located.
Further, in order to ensure that the user can know the installation situation of the tv application in real time, the application module 1012 is further configured to: and displaying the progress state of downloading the television application, and automatically installing the television application after the downloading is finished.
Specifically, in the process of installing the television application, the application module 1012 downloads and displays the progress status by specifying the installation package name of the television application to be installed, completes automatic installation of the application by the installation package name after the downloading is completed, and returns the installation result to the cloud platform 103.
