The invention provides an automatic capacity expansion method for a video conference, which can automatically expand the capacity of a Zoom video conference. It should be noted that Zoom is a multi-user mobile phone cloud video conference software, and provides a free cloud video call service with high definition video conference and mobile network conference functions for a user. The user can carry out multi-user video and voice call, screen sharing, conference reservation management and other business communication with the working partner through the mobile phone, the tablet personal computer and the PC. Zoom supports a maximum of 1, 000 video participants or 10, 000 viewers, and is the current leading mobile video conferencing tool. Zoom is suitable for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android systems.
Zoom has the following functions:
basic function
1) Multi-person video call
Zoom supports multi-person video conferences and can perform online video communication with multiple friends or colleagues during conversation. Expensive hardware equipment is not needed, and the video conference can be initiated by one key only by installing Zoom software in a mobile phone or a computer.
The high-definition video of the mobile phone only consumes little flow, and a full-screen, window, multi-grid and mini mode display mode is supported in the conference.
2) Adding contacts
The Zoom supports the search of Zoom numbers and common contacts are added; the mobile phone edition Zoom supports the functions of checking the mobile phone address book and importing, and friends can be invited by one key.
3) Sharing screen presentations
And in the Zoom video conference, the screen sharing function is supported. The personal screen operation can be demonstrated to other conference friends and explained in detail in coordination with the speech. And functions of painting brush marking, paragraph selection, network link jumping demonstration, color selection, cancellation and the like are supported in the screen sharing process.
Other functions
1) Conference host authority:
in the Zoom multi-person video conference, the initiator can organize and manage the video conference as a host, so that the video conference is more efficient and ordered. The host has the highest video conference authority, can manage the speaking and participating authority of the participating members, and can transfer the host authority to other participants.
2) Remote operation: in the Zoom video conference, the initiator can authorize the participants to remotely operate the sharing interface permission, so that the participants can express the view more clearly.
3) Recording a conference: the Zoom conference recording function is supported, and audio and video recording can be carried out on the conference at the beginning or in the process of the conference. And the storage of files in various formats such as MCU, MP4, VLC and the like is supported.
4) And (3) meeting appointment reminding: the Zoom supports the conference appointment and reminding functions, appoints the conference time in the Zoom schedule, can automatically generate a conference information notification text, and supports the mail to quickly send the participants. The mobile phone terminal logs in Zoom to make an appointment, and the method supports modes such as short messages, mails and address lists to inform the participants, the information can be automatically synchronized to mobile phone calendars and notepads, and the function of reminding before meeting is supported.
Referring to fig. 1, the automatic capacity expansion method for a video conference includes the following steps:
acquiring the number of terminals joining a video conference;
judging whether the current video conference needs capacity expansion or not through a threshold algorithm according to the number of the terminals added into the video conference, if so, requesting the capacity expansion to a cloud end, and updating conference data after meeting party number resources returned by the cloud end are obtained; if the capacity expansion is not needed, the current flow is ended;
the expansion request to the cloud end is in a REST network request mode, wherein REST (representational State transfer) is a software architecture containing State transmission, and GET and POST which are frequently used at ordinary times are REST;
it should be noted that, the cloud in the present application refers to: and uniformly packaging the zoomAPI interface. May be understood as middleware called by the conference management system and the zoom api interface. The cloud system and the conference management system are in one-to-many relationship.
In the scheme, the number of terminals joining the video conference is acquired in real time; judging whether the current video conference needs capacity expansion or not through a threshold algorithm according to the number of the terminals joining the video conference, if so, requesting the capacity expansion to a cloud end, and updating conference data after meeting party number resources returned by the cloud end are obtained; if the capacity expansion is not needed, the current flow is ended. Therefore, the invention can expand the number of parties of the current conference according to the number of the actual participants, thereby avoiding the waste of conference resources and saving the operation cost.
The step of requesting expansion to the cloud comprises: and sending the conference number and the conference party number resource needing capacity expansion to the cloud end, and requesting the cloud end to expand the capacity of the conference room corresponding to the conference number.
The threshold algorithm comprises the following specific steps:
comparing the ratio of the number of the terminals added to the video conference to the number of the conference parties of the current video conference with a preset threshold percentage, and if the ratio is greater than the preset threshold percentage, setting the ratio to be expanded; for example, the threshold percentage is preset to 75%, the number of conference parties of the current video conference is 4 terminals, and when it is detected that the number of terminals to join the current video conference exceeds 3, the threshold algorithm outputs a signal to be extended.
The automatic capacity expansion method of the video conference further comprises the following steps:
configuring the threshold percentage, further the threshold percentage is less than 1. In short, the user may set different threshold percentages according to different requirements on the conference quality, such as: the threshold percentage is set to 25%, 50%, etc.
Further, before the step of requesting expansion from the cloud, the method further comprises the following steps: locking the conference room, wherein the locking specifically comprises: each request firstly tries to acquire the lock through the redis and sets the time of lock overtime so as to ensure that only one request is allowed to carry out subsequent operation in the same time, and the condition that the conference room is repeatedly occupied under the condition of concurrent requests is avoided. After the conference data is updated, the method further comprises the following steps: and unlocking the conference room. It should be noted that the locking process is to prevent: a large number of users enter meetings at one moment, so that the sequence of requesting capacity expansion is disordered, and capacity expansion is ensured to be performed according to the sequence; for example, the expansion number of the components is 25, 50, 100, 500 in sequence.
Referring to fig. 2, the present embodiment mainly relates to a zoom openness service, and the background logic flow of the present embodiment is substantially as follows:
1. calculating whether the current number of people is greater than a threshold value every time 1 digit of the number of participants is increased;
2. if the threshold value is larger than the threshold value, starting capacity expansion operation;
3. before starting the expansion operation, locking processing is carried out to ensure that the expansion is carried out in sequence;
4. requesting zoom service and adjusting the number of conference parties;
5. the adjustment is successful, the conference data (the number of parties in the conference) is updated, and the unlocking processing is carried out;
6. the flow ends.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the number of participants refers to the number of user terminals, and assuming that the same user enters meetings with the PC and the IOS respectively, the number of participants is 2.
The present invention also provides a computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program characterized in that: the computer program is executed by a processor to perform the method described above.
Referring to fig. 3, the present invention further provides an electronic device, which includes: a processor, a memory, and a program, wherein the program is stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the processor, the program comprising instructions for carrying out the method described above.
The invention also provides an automatic capacity expansion system of the video conference, which is characterized in that: the automatic capacity expansion system of the video conference executes the automatic capacity expansion method of the video conference.
