As can be seen from the above-described embodiments, by generating image data and/or text data corresponding to information displayed on an information processing apparatus and displaying the information on the external display apparatus based on the image data and/or text data, it is possible to display information being displayed on a panel of the information processing apparatus to an external terminal, and an operator can know the display content of the information processing apparatus without moving in front of the information processing apparatus, thereby improving convenience of use.
The information handling systems described in connection with the embodiments disclosed herein may be embodied directly in hardware, in a software module executed by a processor, or in a combination of the two. For example, one or more of the functional block diagrams and/or one or more combinations of the functional block diagrams illustrated in fig. 1-4 may correspond to individual software modules of a computer program flow or individual hardware modules. These software modules may correspond to the various steps shown in fig. 5-8, respectively. These hardware modules may be implemented, for example, by solidifying these software modules using a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).
A software module may reside in RAM memory, flash memory, ROM memory, EPROM memory, EEPROM memory, registers, hard disk, a removable disk, a CD-ROM, or any other form of storage medium known in the art. A storage medium may be coupled to the processor such that the processor can read information from, and write information to, the storage medium; or the storage medium may be integral to the processor. The processor and the storage medium may reside in an ASIC. The software module may be stored in the memory of the information processing system or in a memory card that is insertable into the information processing system.
One or more of the functional block diagrams and/or one or more combinations of the functional block diagrams described with respect to fig. 1-4 may be implemented as a general purpose processor, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic, discrete hardware components, or any suitable combination thereof designed to perform the functions described herein. One or more of the functional block diagrams and/or one or more combinations of the functional block diagrams described with respect to fig. 1-4 may also be implemented as a combination of computing devices, e.g., a combination of a DSP and a microprocessor, a plurality of microprocessors, one or more microprocessors in conjunction with a DSP communication, or any other such configuration.
The present application has been described in conjunction with specific embodiments, but it should be understood by those skilled in the art that these descriptions are intended to be illustrative, and not limiting. Various modifications and adaptations of the present application may occur to those skilled in the art based on the spirit and principles of the application and are within the scope of the application.

Claims (10)

1. An information processing system having an information processing apparatus and a display apparatus that displays information related to the information processing apparatus, the information processing system being characterized in that,
the information processing apparatus includes:
a 1 st display unit that displays information related to the information processing apparatus;
a processing unit that generates image data and/or text data of information displayed on the display unit; and
a 1 st communication unit that transmits the image data and/or the text data generated by the processing unit,
the display device further includes:
a 2 nd communication unit for acquiring the image data and/or the text data, and
and a 2 nd display unit that displays the information displayed by the 1 st display unit based on the image data and/or the text data acquired by the 2 nd communication unit.
2. The system according to claim 1, wherein the processing section generates the image data and/or the text data when the 2 nd communication section requests the information displayed on the 1 st display section via a network.
3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the display device further includes an operation unit that accepts a user operation, and the processing unit controls the information processing device based on an operation input accepted by the operation unit.
4. The system according to claim 3, wherein the user operation accepted by the operation unit is a key operation, and the processing unit sets a key identifier corresponding to the key operation, and when the key identifier is detected to be pressed, the processing unit transitions to a system event and processes the system event.
5. The system of claim 4, further comprising a timer that periodically triggers the processing portion to detect the key identification depression.
6. An information processing method applied to an information processing system having an information processing apparatus and a display apparatus, the method comprising:
the information processing apparatus displays information related to the information processing apparatus; generating image data and/or text data of information displayed on the information processing apparatus; sending the image data and/or the text data to the display device;
the display device acquires the image data and/or the text data; displaying the information displayed by the information processing apparatus according to the image data and/or the text data.
7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the information processing apparatus generates the image data and/or the text data when the display apparatus requests the information displayed at the information processing apparatus via a network.
8. The method of claim 6, further comprising:
the display device accepts a user operation, and the information processing device performs corresponding processing according to the accepted operation.
9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the user operation is a key operation, and the information processing apparatus performs the corresponding processing according to the received operation includes: the information processing device sets a key identification corresponding to the key operation, converts the key identification into a system event when detecting that the key identification is pressed down, and processes the system event.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the system further comprises a timer that periodically triggers the information processing device to detect the key identification press.
