The bill insertion slot 31 is an opening for receiving bills, and the coin insertion slot 32 is an opening for receiving coins. The refund lever 33 is used to operate in the case of refund of coins. The coin return port 34 is a portion for discharging returned coins and giving change. The input section 35 is used to instruct a commodity to be purchased. In the present embodiment, the input unit 35 is configured with 0 to 9 number keys, and the 0 to 9 number keys are effective when money is input, and are used to directly input the identification number of the commodity column 14 in which the purchased commodity is stored. The input unit 35 sends the input result to the control unit 70 as a selection signal. The display unit 36 displays various information required for use in the vending machine 1, such as input information input from the input unit 35, during sales, amounts to be inserted, no change, and bill rejection.
The commodity storage 12a is provided with an evaporator 15a as a cooling means. The evaporator 15a constitutes a refrigeration cycle for circulating a refrigerant together with the compressor 15b, the condenser 15c, and the expansion mechanism 15d disposed in the machine chamber 12b partitioned in the lower region of the commodity storage 12a, and the evaporator 15a exchanges heat between the refrigerant passing through the refrigerant passage, not shown, and air passing through the interior of the commodity storage 12a around itself, thereby cooling the air.
By being driven by the blower 16, the air cooled around the evaporator 15a is sucked into the air duct 18 through the suction port 17a of the back air duct 17 provided on the back surface of the commodity storage container 12a, passes through the air duct 18, and is blown out from the air outlet 17b, whereby the commodity stored in the commodity shelf 13 (commodity column 14) is cooled.
In the front region of the commodity shelf 13, a pair of conveying rails 40 are disposed on both sides thereof in a left-right direction, and a conveying tray 41 is provided so as to be movable in the up-down direction between the conveying rails 40 by a conveying mechanism 43 described later. That is, a conveyance path 42 for passing the conveyance tray 41 is formed between the conveyance rails 40.
The conveyance path 42 extends to a commodity take-out position ST in front of the machine room 12 b. Here, the commodity take-out position ST is a position at which the commodity is taken out by the user through the commodity take-out port 22 while the commodity carried by the carrying tray 41 is held on the carrying surface 41a of the carrying tray 41.
A commodity detection section (commodity detection means) 50 including a light emitting element 51 and a light receiving element 52 disposed opposite to each other is provided at both left and right side portions of the commodity extraction position ST.
The commodity detection unit 50 irradiates light from the light emitting element 51 to the light receiving element 52, detects the presence or absence of a commodity based on the incident state of the light to the light receiving element 52, and the commodity detection unit 50 is provided at both left and right side portions of the commodity extraction position ST. Thus, the commodity detection area is formed on the commodity carrying surface 41a of the conveying tray 41 that moves to the commodity extraction position ST, and the commodity detection section 50 is provided so as to face the commodity detection area. The product detection unit 50 sends the detection result of whether or not the product is present to the control unit 70.
The control unit 70 is electrically connected to the above-described screw motor 14b, compressor 15b, operation unit 30, and commodity detection unit 50, and is also electrically connected to the conveyance mechanism 43, coin mechanism 61, bill validator 62, and input terminal device 80, and integrally controls the operation of the vending machine 1 in accordance with programs and data stored in the storage unit 71 that are electrically connected in the same manner. The control unit 70 may be realized by, for example, a processing device such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit: central processing unit) executing a program, that is, by software, by hardware such as an IC (Integrated Circuit: integrated circuit), or by both software and hardware.
The conveying mechanism 43 includes a conveying motor 43a and a tray detection unit 43b. The conveyance motor 43a is a drive source that is driven in accordance with a command supplied from the control unit 70. The tray detection unit 43b is constituted by an encoder or the like that detects the rotation of the conveyance motor 43a, and detects the position of the conveyance tray 41. Thereby, the conveying mechanism 43 moves the conveying tray 41 up and down between the conveying rails 40. The conveying mechanism 43 places the conveying tray 41 at the commodity take-out position ST in a standby state.
The coin mechanism 61 sorts the number of various coins inserted through the coin insertion port 32 and sends the sorted coins to the control unit 70, while discharging the various coins in accordance with a command from the control unit 70. The coin mechanism 61 has a money discriminating function for discriminating the authenticity and the denomination of coins.
The bill validator 62 sorts the number of banknotes inserted through the banknote insertion slot 31 and sends the number of banknotes to the control unit 70, while discharging the banknotes in accordance with a command from the control unit 70. The banknote identifier 62 has a money identifying function of identifying the authenticity and the denomination of the banknote.
The input terminal device 80 is, for example, a remote controller, a tablet terminal, or the like, and is a terminal device for performing an input operation by an administrator of the vending machine 1 or the like.
In the vending machine 1 having the above-described configuration, when it is difficult to detect whether or not a small commodity such as a commodity is stored in any commodity column 14 by the commodity detection unit 50 in a state where the commodity is placed on the conveying tray 41 at the commodity-taking-out position ST, the manager inputs the number of the corresponding commodity column 14 by the input terminal device 80. Thus, the control unit 70 causes the storage unit 71 to store the commodity column 14 (column number) storing the hard-to-detect commodity as column information. The commodity column 14 for storing the commodity difficult to detect is not limited to a single one, and may be a plurality of commodity columns.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart showing the processing content of the commodity detection control process performed by the control unit 70 shown in fig. 4.
In this commodity detection control process, the control unit 70 waits for input of a selection signal by the user operating the operation unit 30 (the input unit 35) (step S101). When the selection signal is not input (no in step S101), the control unit 70 repeats the processing in step S101.
When a desired money (coin or banknote) is inserted through the banknote insertion port 31 or the coin insertion port 32 of the operation unit 30, the coin mechanism 61 and the banknote identifier 62 appropriately perform money processing, and a commodity is selected through the input unit 35 of the operation unit 30, a selection signal is input (step S101: yes), and the control unit 70 reads column information from the storage unit 71 (step S102).
The control unit 70 that reads out the column information determines whether or not the selected column (column number) exists in the column information (step S103).
When the selected column is present in the column information (yes in step S103), the control unit 70 sends a closing instruction to the article detection unit 50 to close (invalidate) the article detection unit 50 (step S104), and thereafter returns the procedure to end the present process.
On the other hand, when the selected column does not exist in the column information (step S103: no), the control unit 70 sends an open command to the article detection unit 50 to open (activate) the article detection unit 50 (step S105), and thereafter returns the process to end the present process.
In parallel with the above-described commodity detection control process, the control unit 70 supplies an instruction to the conveyance motor 43a based on the selection signal input from the operation unit 30, and causes the conveyance motor 43a to drive the conveyance mechanism 43, so that the conveyance tray 41 disposed at the commodity-taking-out position ST is moved upward toward the front region of the commodity shelf 13 having the commodity column 14 in which the selected commodity is stored.
When the tray detection unit 43b detects that the conveying tray 41 has been conveyed to the front area of the predetermined commodity shelf 13, the control unit 70 stops driving of the conveying motor 43 a.
Then, the control unit 70 drives the screw motor 14b for a predetermined time. By driving the screw motor 14b for a predetermined time in this way, the screw 14a rotates, and the commodity constrained between the foremost pitches is discharged forward and received by the conveying tray 41. After that, the screw motor 14b stops driving, and the screw 14a also stops rotating.
After the commodity is received by the conveying tray 41, the control unit 70 drives the conveying motor 43 a. Thereby, the conveying tray 41 is moved downward toward the commodity take-out position ST by the conveying mechanism 43. When the tray detection unit 43b detects that the conveying tray 41 has been placed at the article take-out position ST, the control unit 70 stops driving of the conveying motor 43 a.
When the transport tray 41 is placed at the article pickup position ST in this way, the article detection unit 50 is opened to detect the presence or absence of the article, and the article detection unit 50 is closed to not detect the presence or absence of the article. Thereafter, the user pushes the take-out cover 24, whereby the user can take out the commodity at the commodity take-out position ST.
As described above, according to the vending machine 1 as the embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 70 can set whether or not the detection is performed by the article detection unit 50 for each article column 14 based on the input operation performed by the input terminal device 80, and therefore, when selling the article in the article column 14 in which the article difficult to detect is stored, the article detection unit 50 can be turned off, and thus the article difficult to detect is not discharged again or the article difficult to detect is judged to be sold out, and the like, and good sales can be performed. Therefore, the commodity detection unit 50 can be used to detect the commodity flexibly, thereby ensuring the diversity of sales of the commodity and increasing the sales opportunity of the commodity.
While the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these, and various modifications can be made.
In the above embodiment, the control unit 70 is described as being able to set whether or not the commodity column 14 is detected by the commodity detection unit 50 based on the input operation by the input terminal device 80, but in the present invention, the control unit 70 may be able to set whether or not the commodity detection unit is detected, for example, the control unit 70 may be able to set whether or not the commodity column 14 is detected by the commodity detection unit at once. Accordingly, the commodity detection means can be flexibly used to detect the commodity, thereby ensuring the diversity of commodity sales and increasing the commodity sales opportunity.
Each of the structures illustrated in the above embodiments and modifications is a functionally schematic structure, and it is not necessarily physically necessary to form the illustrated structure. That is, the manner of dispersing/unifying the respective devices and the constituent elements is not limited to the illustrated manner, and all or part of the respective devices and the constituent elements may be functionally or physically dispersed/unified in arbitrary units according to various use conditions and the like.
