In the future, more streaming media class applications will be necessary. But there is a lot of annoyance to such application providers, that is, a huge bandwidth cost. For television programs, a large number of users watch the same program at the same time. The way these programs are viewed is via the DVB signal of the STB, and via the IPTV system. The conventional IPTV system plus p2p can effectively reduce bandwidth, but all that is utilized is p2p between clients accessing this IPTV server. For example, there are 100 clients viewing CCTV1 through one app, but there is 100 STBs viewing CCTV1 using a satellite signal of DVBS, and there is no way to share program data with each other, and only 100 clients in the app can share program data with each other.
Therefore, the conventional IPTV system plus p2p can effectively reduce the bandwidth, but utilizes p2p between clients accessing this IPTV server.

Through the embodiment, the STB watching the DVB signal serves as a parent node to share program data with the STB watching the IPTV program, so that the bandwidth of the IPTV system can be greatly reduced.
