Abstract

本申请公开了一种通信方法及装置，其中方法包括：终端设备接收来自网络设备的第一信息，第一信息用于指示终端设备通过系统消息获取多播配置信息，多播配置信息用于指示所述终端设备接收多播业务；进而接收来自网络设备的所述系统消息，系统消息包括所述多播配置信息。采用该方案，一方面，使得终端设备无需进入连接态就可以接收多播业务，从而能够有效降低终端设备和网络设备进行RRC连接建立所需的信令开销，也降低了终端设备获取多播配置的时延；另一方面，由于网络设备可以通过系统消息发送多播配置信息，相比于分别通过单播的方式向终端设备发送多播配置信息来说，有效降低了网络设备的处理负担和信令开销，也增加了网络设备调控的灵活性。
