Technical Field
The present application relates to a display device and a method for a display device.
Background
Digital broadcasting includes a mechanism of an electronic Program guide (epg), and displays a Program list on the day or within a week by simply pressing a button of a remote controller of a receiver, thereby enabling display of Program contents such as broadcast time, a presenter, etc., search of desired information, viewing reservation of programs, and recording reservation.
In addition, in broadcasting, there is a possibility that a broadcast notice of introduction and promotion of a program and notification of future broadcast date and time is given. However, the program information included in the EPG information (hereinafter referred to as program table information) received by the broadcast receiver is limited to only the information of programs broadcast within a predetermined period from the acquisition of the program table information. The information of the program broadcasted after the period is not included in the program table information, and the recording reservation cannot be made.
Therefore, for example, even if there is a broadcast notice regarding a future program which does not include the program information in the received program table information, a recording reservation cannot be made at that time in accordance with the broadcast notice. In order to record the future program, after the information of the future program is acquired as the program table information, the user needs to perform the recording reservation operation again.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present application will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
Embodiment 1
Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing a receiving device such as a television receiver including a recording reservation device (display device) according to embodiment 1 of the present application.
The present embodiment automatically acquires and records the contents of a broadcast announcement program, and automatically executes a recording reservation based on recorded information according to a recording reservation operation of a user. This makes it possible to accept a recording reservation operation before information on a future program broadcasted in advance is acquired as program table information, and thus, the convenience can be significantly improved.
In fig. 1, a television broadcast signal (RF input) received via an antenna (not shown) is input to the broadcast data receiving unit 10. The broadcast data receiving unit 10 includes a tuner 11 and a decoder 12. The RF input is provided to tuner 11. The tuner 11 is controlled by a control circuit 21 (not shown), selects a broadcast signal of a desired channel, and outputs the selected broadcast signal to the decoder 12.
The decoder 12 is controlled by the control circuit 21 (not shown) to perform decoding processing. That is, the decoder 12 demodulates the broadcast signal selected by the tuner 11 to obtain a transport stream including a desired program. The decoder 12 performs TS decoding processing on the signal in which the Transport Stream (TS) is multiplexed, and obtains digital video data and audio data of a desired program. These video data and audio data are supplied to the signal processing unit 20.
The signal processing unit 20 is provided with a video and audio processing unit 22. The video/audio processing unit 22 performs predetermined digital signal processing on the digital video data supplied from the decoder 12, and outputs the processed data to the output control unit 31. The output control unit 31 converts the input video data into an analog video signal in a format displayable on the display unit 32, and outputs the converted video signal to the display unit 32. The display unit 32 includes a predetermined display device such as a flat display panel, for example, and displays a video image based on an input video signal.
The video/audio processing unit 22 performs predetermined digital signal processing on the digital audio data supplied from the decoder 12, and outputs the processed data to the output control unit 31. The output control unit 31 converts the input audio data into an analog audio signal for audio output, and outputs the analog audio signal to the audio output unit 33. The audio output unit 33 includes a speaker and outputs audio based on the input audio signal.
The video and audio processing unit 22 can output the video and audio processed by the digital signal to the program recording unit 35. The program recording unit 35 is a recording device including an hdd (hard Disk drive) or ssd (solid State drive). The program recording unit 35 receives video and audio data from the video and audio processing unit 22 via a predetermined interface, and records and plays a broadcast program based on the received video and audio data on an HDD, SSD, or the like.
The recording by the program recording unit 35 is controlled by the recording processing unit 24. When a recording instruction command is given from the control circuit 21, the recording processing unit 24 controls recording of the program image unit 35 based on the recording instruction command.
The signal processing unit 20 is provided with a control circuit 21. The control circuit 21 collectively controls all operations including various reception operations in the digital television broadcast receiving apparatus of fig. 1. The control circuit 21 may include a processor using a cpu (central Processing unit), an fpga (field Programmable Gate array), or the like, may operate and control each part according to a program or a computer instruction stored in a memory not shown, or may realize a part or all of the functions by a hardware electronic circuit.
The control circuit 21 controls each unit so as to reflect the operation content thereof, based on operation information transmitted from an operation unit such as a switch provided in a not-shown television receiver main body and a remote controller (not shown). Fig. 1 shows an example in which a remote controller signal from a remote controller, not shown, is supplied to the remote controller receiving unit 41. The remote controller receiving unit 41 receives a remote controller signal, generates operation information based on an operation of a remote controller, and outputs the operation information to the control circuit 21. The control circuit 21 controls each section based on the operation information. Fig. 1 shows that the voice of the user is received by the voice receiving unit 42 including a microphone and the like. The sound receiving unit 42 outputs a sound signal based on the sound of the user to the control circuit 21. The control circuit 21 analyzes the voice of a command issued by the user and the like by a known voice recognition process, and controls each section based on the voice of the user.
Further, the decoder 12 acquires additional information (for example, program information) transmitted by digital broadcasting. The additional information includes various data for acquiring a program, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information, program attribute information (program genre and the like), caption information, and the like (service information, SI, PSI). The decoder 12 outputs the acquired additional information to the signal processing section 20.
The signal processing unit 20 is provided with a program table management unit 23. The program table management unit 23 is controlled by the control circuit 21 to acquire program table information among the additional information from the decoder 12. The program guide management unit 23 supplies the acquired program guide information to the recording unit 26 to be recorded, performs image generation processing for generating image information of the program guide based on the program guide information, and outputs the generated image information to the output control unit 31 (not shown). Thereby, the output control unit 31 can display the program table on the display unit 32.
In the present embodiment, the signal processing unit 20 is provided with a sound detection unit 25. The audio data from the decoder 12 is also supplied to the audio detection unit 25. The sound detection unit 25, which is a recording reservation-related information acquisition unit, analyzes the contents of sound in the broadcast program by a known sound recognition process, a natural language analysis process, and the like. The sound detection unit 25 determines whether or not the program currently being broadcast is a broadcast announcement program that announces a broadcast of a program scheduled to be broadcast in the future (hereinafter, referred to as a broadcast scheduled program) based on the analysis result. When determining that the program currently being broadcast is a broadcast announcement program, the sound detection unit 25 collects information necessary for a recording reservation of a broadcast scheduled program (hereinafter referred to as recording reservation-related information) from among the contents of the broadcast announcement program, supplies the collected recording reservation-related information to the recording unit 26, and records the information together with the information at the current time. The recording unit 26 includes a predetermined recording medium such as a hard disk or a memory medium.
For example, as the recording reservation related information, information on a broadcast channel on which a predetermined program is broadcast, broadcast start date and time, broadcast end date and time, and the like are considered. For example, when detecting that the sound of the program being broadcast includes words such as "good-quality broadcast", "good-quality broadcast", the sound detection unit 25 records the information of the broadcast start date and time and the current reception channel based on these words in the recording unit 26 as the recording reservation related information for the program scheduled to be broadcast. Further, since the recording reservation is made using the program table information, the recording reservation related information may be information for specifying the program to be recorded, based on the program table information, and may be not only information of the broadcast start date and time but also information of the program name of the scheduled broadcast program, for example.
In addition, when the sound detection unit 25 does not determine whether or not the program in the current broadcast is the broadcast advance notice program, and detects the sentences such as "good broadcast" and "good night good broadcast" included in the program in the broadcast, the sentences may be recorded as the recording reservation related information in the recording unit 26. The sound detection unit 25 may store only the latest recording reservation related information in the recording unit 26, may store recording reservation related information for a predetermined period in the recording unit 26, or may store a predetermined number of recording reservation related information in the recording unit 26.
The control circuit 21 generates recording schedule information based on a normal recording schedule operation by a user for a future program including program information in the program table information recorded in the recording unit 26. The recording reservation information in this case is generated by the control circuit 21 based on, for example, a recording reservation operation of the user for the program table, and the control circuit 21 generates the recording reservation information using information necessary for reservation recording in the program table information. The control circuit 21 records the generated recording reservation information in the recording unit 26. The time information is supplied from the timer circuit 27 to the control circuit 21. The control circuit 21 generates a recording instruction command based on the recorded recording reservation information by using the time information from the timer circuit 27, and outputs the command to the recording processing unit 24.
In the present embodiment, the control circuit 21 can generate the recording reservation information based on a recording reservation operation (hereinafter, referred to as a recording reservation operation based on a broadcast notice) for a user of a scheduled broadcast program that does not include the program information in the program table information recorded in the recording unit 26. Further, by assigning the video recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice to a predetermined key of the remote controller in advance, the user can also perform the video recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice by one-touch operation.
That is, when operation information corresponding to a recording reservation operation based on a broadcast notice is given to the control circuit 21, the control circuit sets recording reservation related information recorded most recently before the input timing of the operation information to a recording reservation target, that is, recording reservation schedule information, with the input of the operation information as a trigger. For example, the control circuit 21 may set the recording reservation information by adding a flag indicating that the recording reservation related information is the recording reservation information to the recording reservation related information recorded in the recording unit 26.
In addition, in consideration of the erroneous operation, when the recording reservation operation by the broadcast notice is performed after a predetermined period has elapsed since the last recording of the recording reservation-related information, the operation may be an erroneous operation, and the recording reservation-related information that was recorded last may not be set as the recording reservation scheduling information. Further, the user may be able to arbitrarily specify the recording reservation related information set to the recording reservation related information, in addition to the recording reservation related information recorded before the recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice.
The control circuit 21 determines whether or not the program information of the scheduled broadcast program is included in the program table information recorded in the recording unit 26 by comparing the information of the recording start date and time in the recording schedule related information set in the recording schedule reservation information with the time information from the timer circuit 27, acquires the program information of the scheduled broadcast program from the program table information based on the recording schedule related information when the program information is included in the program table information, and generates the recording schedule information based on the acquired information and records the recording schedule information in the recording unit 26. The control circuit 21 refers to the recording reservation information, and when it is detected by the time information from the timer circuit 27 that the reserved recording start time is reached, generates a recording instruction command based on the recording reservation information, and outputs the generated recording instruction command to the recording processing unit 24.
Further, the control circuit 21 may search program information of a program corresponding to the recording reservation related information from the program table information every time the program table information recorded in the recording unit 26 is updated, and generate the recording reservation information when the program information is searched.
In this case, even when the recording reservation related information set in the recording reservation information does not include information of the recording start date and time but only information of the broadcast program name, the recording reservation information can be generated for the broadcast program.
The user may perform a video recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice by a remote controller not shown, or may perform a video recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice by a voice operation.
Note that not only the control circuit 21 in the signal processing unit 20, but also each unit in the broadcast data receiving unit 10, each unit in the signal processing unit 20, and the output control unit 31 may include a processor using a CPU, an FPGA, or the like, and may control each unit by operating according to a program stored in a memory not shown, or may realize a part or all of the functions by a hardware electronic circuit.
Next, the operation of the embodiment configured as described above will be described with reference to fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a flowchart for explaining the operation of embodiment 1.
A television broadcast signal (RF input) received via an antenna is input to the tuner 11 of the broadcast data receiving unit 10. The tuner 11 is controlled by the control circuit 21 to select a broadcast signal of a desired channel and output the selected broadcast signal to the decoder 12. The decoder 12 is controlled by the control circuit 21 to demodulate the selected broadcast signal and obtain a transport stream containing a desired program. The decoder 12 performs TS decoding processing on the signal in which the Transport Stream (TS) is multiplexed, and obtains digital video data and audio data of a desired program. These video data and audio data are supplied to the signal processing section 20.
The video and audio processing unit 22 of the signal processing unit 20 performs predetermined digital signal processing on the digital video data supplied from the decoder 12, and outputs the processed video data to the output control unit 31. The output control unit 31 outputs the video signal to the display unit 32 and outputs the audio signal to the audio output unit 33. In this way, the video of the broadcast program is displayed on the display unit 32, and the audio is outputted from the audio output unit 33.
The decoder 12 acquires additional information included in the digital broadcast and outputs the acquired additional information to the signal processing unit 20. The program table management unit 23 of the signal processing unit 20 acquires the program table information from the additional information, supplies the acquired program table information to the recording unit 26, and records the program table information.
In the present embodiment, the audio data from the decoder 12 is also supplied to the audio detection unit 25. In step S1 of fig. 2, the sound detection unit 25 analyzes the content of the sound in the broadcast program, and collects recording reservation related information necessary for recording the scheduled broadcast program among the content of the broadcast announcement program (CM). For example, when detecting a sentence such as "broadcast in good quality channel for good quality good day" from a program in broadcast, the sound detection unit 25 acquires the recording reservation related information such as the channel for good quality, the good quality good day, and the like. The sound detection unit 25 supplies the acquired recording reservation-related information to the recording unit 26 and records it. In the present embodiment, the sound detection unit 25 sequentially collects the recording reservation related information during reception of the broadcast signal and records the information in the recording unit 26.
The control circuit 21 confirms the interrupt from the user (S2). That is, the control circuit 21 checks whether or not a recording reservation operation by the user based on the broadcast notice is generated based on the operation information from the remote controller receiving unit 41 and the audio receiving unit 42. If no interrupt is generated, the process returns to step S1, and steps S1 and S2 are repeated.
Here, the user views a broadcast announcement program in the broadcast and desires a recording reservation of a broadcast scheduled program introduced in the broadcast announcement program. In this case, the user operates a remote controller or the like to perform a recording reservation operation based on the broadcast notice. When receiving the operation information based on the operation, the control circuit 21 proceeds to step S3, reads the latest information among the recording reservation-related information recorded in the recording unit 26, and acquires information such as the broadcast start date and time. The control circuit 21 determines whether or not program table information including information of the program up to the acquired broadcast start date and time, that is, whether or not program information (target program information) of the acquired program (scheduled broadcast program) at the broadcast start date and time is already included in the program table information (S4).
In the case where the program information of the broadcast scheduled program identified by the recording reservation related information is already included in the program table information, the control circuit 21 performs recording reservation in step S5. That is, program information for a broadcast scheduled program is acquired from the program table information, and recording reservation information is generated.
Therefore, the user does not need to perform an operation of displaying the program table and selecting the scheduled broadcast program, and can perform recording reservation of the scheduled broadcast program by a simple operation.
On the other hand, when the program table information including the program information of the scheduled-to-be-broadcast program is not received at the broadcast time of the advance notice program, the control circuit 21 proceeds to step S6, sets the recording reservation related information read in step S3 as the recording reservation scheduling information, and holds the recording reservation related information in the recording unit 26 until the program table information including the program information (target program information) up to the broadcast start date and time of the scheduled-to-broadcast program is acquired. The control circuit 21 stands by during this period (S7). The control circuit 21 may determine the standby period based on the time information from the timer circuit 27, or may perform a search process every time the program table information is acquired to determine the standby period.
When the control circuit 21 acquires the program table information including the program information of the broadcast scheduled program, it reads the recording reservation related information set in the recording reservation information and makes a recording reservation (S8). That is, program information for a broadcast scheduled program is acquired from the program table information, and recording reservation information is generated. The control circuit 21 refers to the recording reservation information, detects that the reserved recording start time is reached based on the time information from the timer circuit 27, generates a recording instruction command based on the recording reservation information, and outputs the generated recording instruction command to the recording processing unit 24. When a recording instruction command is given from the control circuit 21, the recording processing unit 24 controls the recording of the program recording unit 35 based on the recording instruction command. Thus, a reservation recording of a broadcast scheduled program can be performed.
In this way, in the present embodiment, the recording reservation related information necessary for the recording reservation of the scheduled broadcast program is automatically acquired and recorded from the broadcast announcement program, and the recording reservation is automatically executed using the recorded recording reservation related information in accordance with the recording reservation operation based on the broadcast announcement of the user. This makes it possible to accept a recording reservation operation before information on a future program announced in advance of broadcasting is acquired as program table information, and thus, convenience can be significantly improved. That is, when the user desires to view a scheduled broadcast program introduced by a broadcast announcement program, the user can make a recording reservation by a simple recording reservation operation without immediately performing an operation of searching a program table. In addition, the recording reservation can be made in advance for a future program which does not exist in the broadcast scheduled program and for which the recording reservation could not be made originally.
Embodiment 2
Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing embodiment 2. In fig. 3, the same components as those in fig. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
The present embodiment is different from embodiment 1 in that recording reservation related information is executed by capturing (capturing) a video.
In fig. 3, the signal processing unit 50 is different from the signal processing unit 20 in fig. 1 in that a video analyzing unit 51 is used instead of the sound detecting unit 25. The decoder 12 supplies the video data to the video analyzing unit 51 of the signal processing unit 50. The video analyzing unit 51 serving as the recording reservation-related information acquiring unit may include a processor using a CPU, an FPGA, or the like, may operate according to a program stored in a memory not shown in the drawings to control each unit, or may realize a part or all of the functions by an electronic circuit of hardware. The video analyzing unit 51 has a buffer circuit, not shown, for holding video data from the decoder 12 for a predetermined period of time for analysis processing.
In the present embodiment, when interruption of a recording reservation operation by a user based on a broadcast notice occurs, the control circuit 21 requests the video analysis unit 51 to perform analysis processing. For example, when a user desires to make a recording reservation of a broadcast scheduled program introduced by a broadcast scheduled program, a recording reservation operation based on a broadcast schedule is performed by a remote controller or the like in the broadcast of a broadcast schedule program.
Upon receiving the request for the analysis processing from the control circuit 21, the video analysis unit 51 captures an image based on the video data from the decoder 12 and holds the image in the buffer circuit. The video analyzing unit 51 analyzes the content of the video in the broadcast program by a known image analysis process for the captured image and text information included in the video data. The video analyzing unit 51 collects recording schedule related information necessary for recording schedules of scheduled broadcast programs from videos in captured advance notice programs, supplies the collected recording schedule related information to the recording unit 26, and records the recording schedule related information together with information of the current time.
Note that, as the recording reservation related information, information of a broadcast channel on which a scheduled program is broadcast, broadcast start date and time, broadcast end date and time, and the like are used as in embodiment 1.
The video analysis unit 51 may request a computer (not shown) on the cloud 60 to collect recording reservation-related information. In this case, the video analysis unit 51 transmits the video data and the captured image supplied from the decoder 12 to the cloud 60 via an interface circuit, not shown, which communicates with the cloud 60. The computer on the cloud 60 analyzes the image and video data, collects recording reservation related information, and transmits the collected recording reservation related information to the video analyzing unit 51. The video analysis unit 51 supplies the recording reservation-related information supplied from the cloud 60 to the recording unit 26 and records the information.
In the present embodiment, the control circuit 21 executes the same recording reservation processing as in embodiment 1 each time the recording unit 26 records the recording reservation-related information.
Next, the operation of the embodiment configured as described above will be described with reference to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a flowchart for explaining the operation of embodiment 2. In fig. 4, the same steps as those in fig. 2 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
The control circuit 21 confirms the interrupt from the user (S10). That is, the control circuit 21 confirms whether or not a recording reservation operation by the user based on the broadcast notice is generated, based on the operation information from the remote controller receiving unit 41, the audio receiving unit 42, and the like. The control circuit 21 repeats step S10 until an interrupt is generated.
Now, a recording reservation of a broadcast scheduled program that a user desires to introduce through a broadcast advance notice program currently being broadcast is set. In this case, the user performs a recording reservation operation based on the announcement of the broadcast in the broadcast of the announcement program. When the interrupt is generated, the control circuit 21 requests the video analysis unit 51 to collect the recording reservation-related information.
In step S11, the video analyzing unit 51 captures an image based on the video data from the decoder 12, analyzes the content of the scheduled broadcast program, and acquires recording reservation related information based on the analysis result. The video analysis unit 51 may transmit the video data and the captured image to the cloud 60 and request collection of the recording reservation-related information. The video analyzing unit 51 records the acquired recording reservation-related information in the recording unit 26.
Next, the control circuit 21 reads the recording reservation related information recorded in the recording unit 26, and acquires information such as the broadcast start date and time (S12). The subsequent operation is the same as in embodiment 1. That is, the control circuit 21 generates the recording reservation information based on the recording reservation related information in step S5, or sets and holds the recording reservation related information in step S6. If the program information of the broadcast scheduled program is included in the program table information, the control circuit 21 generates recording schedule information based on the recording schedule related information in which the recording schedule information is set in step S8.
As described above, the same effects as those of embodiment 1 can be obtained also in this embodiment.
In embodiment 1 as well, the recording reservation-related information may be acquired by sound analysis using the cloud, as in the present embodiment.
Modification example 1
In the above description, the example in which the video analysis unit 51 collects the recording reservation related information when the interruption of the recording reservation operation by the user based on the broadcast notice occurs was described, but the video analysis unit 51 may always perform analysis for acquiring the recording reservation related information or request to the cloud 60 as in embodiment 1.
For example, the video analyzing unit 51 may determine whether or not the program currently being broadcast is a broadcast announcement program that announces a broadcast of a scheduled program based on the analysis result, and when it is determined that the program currently being broadcast is the broadcast announcement program, collect recording reservation-related information necessary for recording reservation of the scheduled program from the video in the broadcast announcement program, supply the collected recording reservation-related information to the recording unit 26, and record the recording reservation-related information together with the information at the current time.
Further, the video analysis unit 51 may not determine whether or not the program in the current broadcast is the broadcast advance notice program, and may record the sentences such as "good broadcast" and "good night good broadcast" as the recording reservation related information in the recording unit 26 when detecting the sentences included in the video of the program in the broadcast.
In this case, the user may perform a recording reservation operation based on the broadcast announcement after viewing the broadcast announcement program. The control circuit 21 executes the same recording reservation processing as in embodiment 1 each time an interrupt occurs due to a recording reservation operation by a user based on a broadcast notice.
Modification example 2
In the above-described embodiment 1, the user needs to perform a recording reservation operation based on the announcement of the announcement while the announcement of the broadcast program is being broadcast. On the other hand, in modification 1, although the recording reservation processing can be performed when the user performs the recording reservation operation based on the notice of broadcast after the end of the notice of broadcast program, the processing load is large because the analysis processing by the video analysis unit 51 or the computer on the cloud 60 is performed all the time. Therefore, the 2 nd modification records video data of a broadcast announcement program in a buffer circuit. In this case, the user may perform a recording reservation operation based on the announcement of the broadcast within a predetermined period after viewing the announcement program. In the 2 nd modification, the buffer circuit included in the video analyzing unit 51 is configured to have a capacity for holding the video data supplied from the decoder 12 for a predetermined period corresponding to the broadcast time of the announcement program.
When an interruption occurs due to a recording reservation operation by a user in advance of a broadcast, the control circuit 21 requests the video analysis unit 51 to perform analysis processing. The buffer circuit sequentially stores video data corresponding to videos from a predetermined period of time to the present time. When the analysis processing is requested from the cache circuit 21, the video analysis unit 51 performs the analysis processing using the video data held in the cache circuit and requests the analysis to the cloud 60. The video analysis unit 51 supplies the recording reservation related information thus acquired to the recording unit 26 and records it.
In this case, each time the recording unit 26 records the recording reservation-related information, the control circuit 21 executes the same recording reservation processing as in embodiment 1. In this way, in the present modification, the load of processing can be reduced, and the recording reservation processing can be performed even when the user performs the recording reservation operation based on the notice of broadcasting after the notice of broadcasting program is ended.

The transmission unit 313 transmits various information to an external device. The generating unit 314 generates scene information for each program by a known technique. The generation unit 314 stores the generated scene information in the storage unit 311.
Next, the flow of processing of each configuration in the playback system will be described. Fig. 11 is a flowchart showing processing in the playback system of embodiment 3. The processing of the flowchart shown in fig. 11 is as follows: when the user operates a remote controller or the like of the television apparatus 2 to display a recording list, a preview (preview) process is performed to display the recorded program together with the recording list.
First, when the user requests display of a recording list by operation, the acquisition unit 243 acquires the recording information stored in the storage unit 241 (step S1), and the display control unit 244 displays a recording list screen including a list of the acquired recording information (step S2).
Here, an example of the recording list screen will be described with reference to fig. 12. Fig. 12 is a diagram showing a recording list. As shown in fig. 12, the recording list screen 501 includes a recording list 502 and a preview display portion 503. The recording list 502 is a region for displaying list information on recording information. Preview display section 503 is a region for displaying a part of the contents of the video information selected in video recording list 502.
In the recording list screen 501 shown in fig. 12, when a recording program is selected from the recording list 502 by a user operation, the display control unit 244 transmits information that can specify the channel, start time, and other programs of the selected recording program to the transmission unit 242, and transmits the information to the scene information server 3.
When acquiring information that can specify a program, the scene information server 3 transmits scene information of the program to the television apparatus 2. The acquiring unit 243 of the television apparatus 2 acquires scene information from the scene information server 3 (step S3).
The acquisition unit 243 of the television apparatus 2 acquires the preference information stored in the storage unit 241, and the display control unit 244 searches for scene information (object scene information) corresponding to the preference information (step S4). If there is scene information of the object (yes in step S5), the display control unit 244 extracts a moving image of a portion of the recorded video information including the scene indicated by the scene information of the object as playback information, and outputs and displays the playback information to the preview display unit 503 (step S6).
In addition, when there are a plurality of pieces of scene information corresponding to the preference information, the display control unit 244 may extract a moving image of a portion including scenes indicated by all pieces of scene information as the playback information in the playback order, and output and display the playback information to the preview display unit 503. In this case, the display control unit 244 can display and output all the broadcast information that matches the preference information of the user.
When there are a plurality of pieces of scene information corresponding to the preference information, the display control unit 244 may specify scene information based on the type of the selected broadcast program and the type of the preference information from the plurality of pieces of scene information, extract a moving image of a portion including a scene indicated by the specified scene information as broadcast information, and display and output the broadcast information to the preview display unit 503.
For example, in the case where there are a plurality of pieces of scene information corresponding to the person of interest in the preference information, if the broadcast program is a music program, the display control unit 244 gives priority to the scene information of the person of interest as the musician, and if the broadcast program is a variety program, the display control unit 244 gives priority to the scene information of the person of interest as the artist. In this case, since the display control unit 244 displays the broadcast information based on the preference information corresponding to the attribute of the program, the broadcast information more suitable for the preference of the user can be displayed. In addition, a priority may be set in advance for the preference information, and the display control unit 244 may specify the scene information of the object based on the priority.
In addition, in step S5, when there is no scene information of the object (no in step S5), the acquisition unit 243 acquires the statistical information of the selected broadcast program from the program statistical information server 4, and the display control unit 244 extracts a moving image of a portion of the recorded information including the scene indicated by the statistical information as the broadcast information, and outputs the broadcast information to the preview display unit 503 (step S7). For example, the display control unit 244 extracts a scene with the highest audience rating in the recorded information as the broadcast information. In this way, even when there is no scene information corresponding to the preference information, the display control unit 244 can display the broadcast information of the part estimated to have a high evaluation by the user who viewed the program. In step S7, display control unit 244 may play back a fixed number of seconds regardless of the content of the recorded information, or may play back the first scene other than the CM.
In the above-described embodiment, the case where the scene information of the recorded program is acquired at the time when the recorded program is selected has been described, but the scene information may be acquired in advance. In the above-described embodiment, the case where the program statistics information server 4 is included in the broadcast system has been described, but the program statistics information server 4 may not be included.
In the above-described embodiment, the case where the acquisition unit 243 acquires the recorded-video information stored in the storage unit 241 has been described, but the recorded-video information may be acquired from an external device via a network or the like. For example, a server device on the cloud and a management server device of the VOD correspond to the external devices.
The television apparatus 2 according to embodiment 3 acquires the preference information and the scene information, and displays the playback information based on the scene information and the preference information corresponding to the selected recording information on the list screen of the recording information. Thus, the television apparatus 2 can preview and display a scene in which the preference information of the user is taken into consideration, and can output the list information of the recorded content in consideration of the preference of the user.
The programs executed by the devices (the television device 2, the scene information server 3, and the program statistics information server 4) according to embodiment 3 can be provided as files in an installable or executable format, which are recorded on a storage medium readable by a computer device, such as a CD (Compact Disc) -ROM (Read Only Memory), a Flexible Disk (FD), a CD-R (Compact Disc), or a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc). The program may be provided or distributed via a network such as the internet.
Several embodiments of the present application have been described, but these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the application. For example, the television device in the above embodiment may be an electronic device which does not include a display unit, such as a set-top box or a recorder, and includes a receiver that outputs a video signal to an external display device. The new embodiments may be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes may be made without departing from the spirit of the present application. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the application, and are included in the technical means and equivalents thereof described in the claims.
For example, among the image icons displayed on the user terminal, the image icons displayed on the television apparatus in an enlarged manner may be provided with buttons for instructing the television apparatus to display the image icons in an enlarged manner on or near the image icons, or the image icons displayed in an enlarged manner may be changed in color, shape, or display form so as to be recognizable with other image icons that are not displayed in an enlarged manner. In addition, when the user terminal instructs the television apparatus to perform the enlarged display or when the display processing is performed in the television apparatus, the user terminal or the television apparatus may perform the audio notification.
For example, in the above-described embodiments 1 and 2, the example in which the recording reservation related information is collected using one of the audio data and the video data has been described, but the recording reservation related information may be collected using both the audio data and the video data.
