Description

Cooperative processing display system and method
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of image display processing, in particular to a cooperative processing display system and method.
Background
With the increase of the industrial demand of visual intelligent equipment, for example, an intelligent automobile, a multimedia interface, an air conditioner interface, a navigation interface, an instrument interface and the like are required to be simultaneously displayed on a large-resolution screen, and high-definition simultaneous asynchronous display of a plurality of pictures is also required to be ensured, so that more visual information is provided for a driver and passengers, the requirement on the resolution of the screen is higher and higher, and meanwhile, the requirement on the performance of the picture of combining a plurality of pictures into one large-resolution screen by a system is more and more strict.
In the prior art, due to the control area, the cost and the difficulty of digital design of the display processing unit, the resolution output by the single display processing unit is limited to 2K, so that the large-resolution scene cannot be processed, as shown in fig. 1, the problem that the display capability of the embedded chip is enhanced is a common attack in the semiconductor industry of the industry.
The following scheme is mainly adopted for the current products on the market:
1. increasing the processing power of a single display processing unit to achieve the resolution demanded by the market: this approach may increase the complexity of the chip display unit design, leading to increased chip cost, and at the same time, is not conducive to controlling power consumption;
2. using a plurality of chips to output respectively: this approach increases the cost and ensures high complexity of picture synchronization;
3. synthesizing a large-resolution image by a GPU: this increases the GPU burden and reduces chip processing efficiency.
In order to satisfy a real scene with a large resolution, the conventional method needs to increase the complexity of the design of a single processing display unit, which leads to the increase of the cost of a single chip. The use of multiple chips results in increased product cost and poor market acceptance. Using GPU compositing can take up a lot of performance on the chip, resulting in a weak processing power.
