Description

Ceramic tile cutting machine with folding function
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cutting machine, and more particularly, to a tile cutting machine with folding function.
Background
The ceramic tile has high hardness and hard and brittle material characteristics, so a ceramic tile cutting machine is required to cut during processing.
A conventional tile cutter comprises a base, a water tank recessed in the base, a working plate slidably disposed on the base and on which a tile is placed, and a saw blade fixedly mounted on the base. When using the conventional tile cutter, a user needs to place the tiles on the work plate and push the work plate so that the tiles contact the saw blade to be cut.
Since the saw blade of the conventional tile cutting machine is fixedly installed on the base, the conventional tile cutting machine cannot be folded, and in addition, water (not shown) is poured while cutting a general tile to help lubrication and remove cutting dust and prevent overheating, the water tank is required to be installed to accommodate the water and dust, and the depth of the water tank reaches 20 to 30 centimeters at any time, so that a large space is occupied when the tile cutting machine is not used, the tile cutting machine is not easy to carry and transport, and the exposed saw blade is easily damaged due to collision, thereby realizing the need for improvement.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a tile cutting machine with a folding function.
The invention relates to a tile cutting machine with a folding function, which comprises a base unit, a connecting unit and a cutting unit. The base unit comprises a base body and a water tank arranged on the base body. The sink has an opening. The opening direction of the opening is defined as a first axial direction. The long direction and the short direction of the opening are respectively a second axial direction and a third axial direction.
The connection unit includes a connection arm. The connecting arm has a first section rotatably connected to the base unit and a second section opposite the first section. The connecting arm can rotate and position relative to the water tank between an approaching position and a far position around a first axis extending along the third axial direction. In the approach position, the second section approaches the water tank relatively. In the remote position, the second section is relatively remote from and above the sink.
The sawing unit is arranged above the water tank and comprises a saw blade seat and a saw blade pivoted on the saw blade seat. The saw blade seat is provided with a connecting part which can be rotatably connected with the second section and a cutting part which is connected with the connecting part and is used for the saw blade to pivot. The saw blade seat can rotate around a second axis extending along the third axial direction relative to the water tank between a cutting position and a folding position and can be positioned. In the cutting position, the cutting portion is relatively distant from the water tank. In the stowed position, the cutting portion is relatively close to the water channel.
The tile cutting machine with folding function of the invention defines the rotation direction of the connecting arm from the far position to the near position as a first direction, and defines the rotation direction of the saw blade base from the cutting position to the folding position as a second direction. The second direction is opposite to the first direction.
In the tile cutting machine with folding function of the present invention, the first axial direction, the second axial direction and the third axial direction are perpendicular to each other. When the connecting arm is in the far position, the extending direction of the first section is substantially parallel to the first axial direction. When the connecting arm is at the approaching position, the extending direction of the first section is substantially parallel to the second axial direction.
The invention relates to a tile cutting machine with a folding function, wherein the sawing unit further comprises a protective cover. The protecting cover is arranged on the saw blade seat and partially surrounds the outer side of the saw blade. The cover has a notch for exposing a portion of the saw blade. When the connecting arm is at the approaching position and the saw blade seat is at the folding position, the notch faces the water tank.
In the tile cutting machine with a folding function of the present invention, the base unit further includes a positioning block disposed on the base body and through which the first axis passes. The positioning block is provided with two positioning grooves which are arranged around the first axis at intervals. The first section of the connecting unit is provided with two first side walls which are arranged on two opposite sides of the positioning block at intervals along the first axis, a second side wall connected between the first side walls, and a through hole penetrating through the second side wall. The connection unit further includes a positioning pin. The positioning pin penetrates through the through hole and can be operated to be selectively inserted into the positioning groove so as to position the connecting arm relative to the water tank when the connecting arm is at the approaching position and the far position respectively.
The tile cutter with folding function of the invention, the connecting unit also includes the first elastic component. The first elastic piece is arranged in the through hole and can constantly provide potential energy for enabling the positioning pin to be inserted into the corresponding positioning groove.
The second section of the connecting unit is provided with a leaning surface for connecting the saw blade seat and two clamping grooves which are concavely arranged on the leaning surface and are arranged around the second axis at intervals. The connecting part of the sawing unit is provided with a connecting wall adjacent to the abutting surface and a jack penetrating through the connecting wall. The connection unit further includes a click pin. The clamping pin penetrates through the jack and can be operated to be selectively inserted into the clamping groove so as to enable the saw blade seat to be positioned relative to the water tank when the saw blade seat is at the cutting position and the folding position respectively.
The tile cutter with folding function of the invention, the connecting unit also comprises a second elastic piece. The second elastic piece is arranged in the jack and can constantly provide potential energy for keeping the clamping pin inserted in the corresponding clamping groove.
In the tile cutting machine with folding function of the present invention, the second section of the connecting unit further has an extending wall extending in a direction away from the second axis, a guiding groove passing through the extending wall and forming an arc shape around the second axis, and a protrusion disposed on a side of the extending wall opposite to the saw blade base and adjacent to the guiding groove. The sawing unit further comprises a guide rod connected to the saw blade seat and arranged in the guide groove in a sliding mode around the second axis, and an operating bolt which is in threaded connection with the guide rod and can be operated to be tightly pressed on the protruding block.
In the tile cutting machine with folding function of the present invention, the base body of the base unit has two first side surfaces oppositely disposed along the second axial direction and two second side surfaces connected to the first side surfaces and oppositely disposed along the third axial direction. The base unit also includes a carrying handle disposed on a second side thereof.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: by enabling the connecting arm to be rotatably connected to the base and the saw blade base to be rotatably connected to the second section, the cutting portion can approach the water tank as long as the connecting arm is rotated to the approach position and the saw blade base is rotated to the folding position, so that the storage space can be effectively reduced.

The first elastic element 33 is wound around the neck section 322, and two ends of the first elastic element respectively abut against the inserting section 321 and the clamping area 365.
Referring to fig. 3, 5 to 7, the connecting arm 31 can rotate and position relative to the water tank 22 around the first axis L1 between a distant position and an approaching position. In the remote position (see fig. 6), the second section 37 is relatively remote from the basin 22 and above the basin 22, the first section 36 extending in a direction substantially parallel to the first axis Z. In the approaching position (see fig. 7), the second section 37 approaches the water tank 22 relatively, and the first section 36 extends in a direction substantially parallel to the second axial direction X.
The positioning pin 32 is inserted through the through hole 363 and can be selectively inserted into the positioning slot 231 to position the connecting arm 31 relative to the water tank 22 at the approaching position and the departing position, respectively, and the first elastic member 33 is disposed in the through hole 363 and can constantly provide a potential energy for keeping the positioning pin 32 inserted into the corresponding positioning slot 231.
Referring to fig. 2, 3, 6 and 8, the sawing unit 4 is connected to the connecting arm 31 and disposed above the water tank 22, and includes a saw blade holder 41 pivotally connected to the abutting surface 371 along the second axis L2, a saw blade 42 pivotally disposed on the saw blade holder 41, a driving motor 43 disposed on the saw blade holder 41 and capable of driving the saw blade 42 to rotate, a protecting cover 44 disposed on the saw blade holder 41 and partially surrounding the outer side of the saw blade 42, a guiding rod 45 connected to the saw blade holder 41 and slidably disposed in the guiding groove 374 around the second axis L2, and an operating bolt 46 screwed to the guiding rod 45 and capable of being operated to tightly press the protrusion 375. The cover 44 has a cutout 441 for exposing a portion of the blade 42. The protrusion 375 of the connection unit 3 is disposed on a side of the extension wall 373 opposite to the saw blade seat 41.
The saw blade holder 41 has a connecting portion 411 rotatably connected to the abutting surface 371, and a cutting portion 412 connected to the connecting portion 411 and provided for the saw blade 42 to pivot.
The connecting portion 411 includes a connecting wall 413 adjacent to the abutting surface 371, an insertion hole 414 passing through the connecting wall 413 and having a stepped hole shape for the engaging pin 34 to be inserted, and an engaging block 415 protruding from a side of the connecting wall 413 opposite to the abutting surface 371. The connecting wall 413 has a surrounding surface 416 surrounding and defining the insertion hole 414. The surrounding surface 416 has a clamping area 417 facing the second section 37.
The engaging pin 34 has a stopping section 341 capable of being selectively inserted into the engaging groove 372, a small diameter section 342 connected to the stopping section 341 and having an outer contour smaller than that of the stopping section 341, an operating section 343 exposed to the outside of the connecting wall 413 and having an outer contour larger than that of the insertion hole 414, and an engaging block 344 protruding from a side of the operating section 343 adjacent to the connecting wall 413. The second elastic element 35 is wound around the small diameter section 342, and two ends of the second elastic element respectively abut against the stopping section 341 and the abutting area 417.
Referring to fig. 6 to 9, the saw blade holder 41 can rotate and position relative to the water tank 22 about the second axis L2 between a cutting position and a retracted position. In the cutting position (see fig. 6 and 7), the cutting portion 412 is relatively far from the water tank 22. In the stowed position, the cutting portion 412 is relatively close to the sink 22 (see fig. 9).
The engaging pin 34 is inserted through the insertion hole 414 and can be selectively inserted into the engaging groove 372 (see fig. 3) to position the saw blade holder 41 relative to the water tank 22 in the cutting position and the retracted position, respectively. The second elastic member 35 is disposed in the insertion hole 414 and can constantly provide a potential energy for keeping the engaging pin 34 inserted into the corresponding engaging groove 372.
The table unit 5 is slidably arranged on the base unit 2 and adapted to move the tiles towards or away from the sawing unit 4. The baffle unit 6 is detachably and alternatively installed to the base body 21 and the table unit 5. The baffle unit 6 is installed on the base 21 corresponding to one of the second sides 212 to block the splash splashed when the tile is cut.
Referring to fig. 3, 5, 6 and 8, when a user wants to use the tile cutting machine with folding function, the user needs to mount the tile cutting machine with folding function on the supporting unit, pull the pulling section 323 of the positioning pin 32 to make the inserting section 321 away from the positioning slot 231 and press the first elastic member 33, and synchronously operate to make the connecting arm 31 rotate to the away position, and then release the pulling section 323, so that the inserting section 321 is supported by the first elastic member 33 and inserted into the corresponding positioning slot 231 to position the connecting arm 31 relative to the water tank 22.
Subsequently, the user pulls the operation section 343 of the engaging pin 34 again to make the stopping section 341 get away from the engaging groove 372 and press the second elastic member 35, and synchronously operates to rotate the saw blade holder 41 to the cutting position, and then releases the operation section 343, so that the stopping section 341 is supported by the second elastic member 35 and inserted into the corresponding engaging groove 372 to position the saw blade holder 41 relative to the water tank 22. The operating bolt 46 is then operated to cause the operating bolt 46 to urge against the boss 375 (see fig. 2) to retain the guide rod 45 in the guide slot 374. The tile cutter with the folding function can be operated as shown in fig. 6 by installing the shutter unit 6 on the base 21 and moving the water tank 22 to the expanded state. Finally the tiles can be placed on the table unit 5 to begin cutting the tiles.
Referring to fig. 3, 5, 8 and 9, when the user wants to store the tile cutter with folding function, the same procedure as the above-mentioned procedure is followed, first the pulling section 323 of the positioning pin 32 is pulled to make the inserting section 321 away from the positioning slot 231 and press the first elastic member 33, and the connecting arm 31 is rotated to the approaching position (i.e. the state shown in fig. 7) by the synchronous operation, and then the pulling section 323 is released to make the inserting section 321 insert into another positioning slot 231, so that the connecting arm 31 is positioned with respect to the water tank 22.
Then, the operating bolt 46 is released to make the operating bolt 46 away from the protruding block 375 (see fig. 2), the operating section 343 of the engaging pin 34 is pulled to make the stopping section 341 away from the engaging groove 372 and press the second elastic member 35, and the saw blade holder 41 is rotated to the retracted position by synchronous operation, and then the operating section 343 is released to make the stopping section 341 inserted into another engaging groove 372, so that the saw blade holder 41 is positioned relative to the water tank 22. The tile cutting machine with the folding function can be operated as shown in fig. 9 by mounting the flap unit 6 on the table unit 5 and detaching the support unit.
Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 10, the water tank 22 is finally operated to the contracted state, so that the height and length of the tile cutting machine with the folding function can be effectively reduced and the tile cutting machine can be easily stored.
In this way, by rotatably connecting the connecting arm 31 to the seat body 21 and rotatably connecting the saw blade holder 41 to the second section 37, the connecting arm 31 is rotated to the approaching position and the saw blade holder 41 is rotated to the retracted position, so that the cutting portion 412 can be brought close to the water tank 22, and thus the storage space can be effectively reduced.
In addition, when carrying is required, the user can conveniently hold the handle 24 to carry the tile cutter with the folding function, and since the handle 24 is disposed on the first side 211, when holding the handle 24, the first axis L1 and the second axis L2 (i.e. the rotation axes of the connecting arm 31 and the saw blade holder 41) extend substantially vertically, the connecting arm 31 is not influenced by gravity to rotate towards the remote position or the saw blade holder 41 to rotate towards the cutting position.
It should be noted that, in the tile cutting process, it is usually necessary to pour water (not shown) while cutting to help lubrication and prevent overheating, the water tank 22 can contain the water to avoid overflowing, and the hard portion 223 has a material hardness greater than that of the surrounding portion 222 and is connected between the surrounding portion 222 and the seat 21, so that deformation is not generated, and the water tank 22 can be prevented from being separated from the seat 21 due to the increase of the water amount in the accommodating space 224.
Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 8, it is to be noted that the engaging pin 34 has the engaging block 344 protruding from one side of the operating section 343 adjacent to the connecting wall 413, the connecting portion 411 has the locking block 415 protruding from the connecting wall 413 on the side opposite to the abutting surface 371, when the stopping segment 341 is inserted into one of the engaging grooves 372, the engaging block 344 and the engaging block 415 are dislocated, that is, the operating segment 343 is attached to the connecting wall 413, however, in the above-mentioned operation steps, after the user pulls the operation section 343, the operation section 343 may be rotated to make the engaging block 344 correspond to the engaging block 415, so that the operation section 343 maintains a distance from the connecting wall 413 and the stopping section 341 is away from the engaging groove 372, thus, the user can rotate the saw blade holder 41 with both hands without holding the operating section 343.
It should be noted that, since the driving motor 43 is provided on the saw blade holder 41, the weight is heavy and the moment is large, and by providing the extension wall 373, the guide groove 374, the protrusion 375, and the operation bolt 46, the moment received by the engaging pin 34 can be dispersed when the saw blade holder 41 is at the cutting position, and the vibration and the sloshing can be reduced when the tile is cut, thereby improving the cutting quality.
It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, when the water tank 22 is in the contracted state, the folding regions 225 are sequentially bent upward and downward, so that the folding regions 225 are overlapped with each other along the second axial direction X, and therefore, the height of the water tank 22 can be reduced by more than half, and compared with other embodiments (not shown) in which the folding regions 225 are sequentially bent inward and outward, that is, overlapped with each other along the first axial direction Z, the reduced height of the present embodiment is larger, and the overlapping manner of the folding regions 225 is less affected by gravity, so that the water tank 22 is restored to the expanded state.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the surrounding portion 222 of the water tank 22 is made of rubber material, so that the water tank 22 can move between the expanded state and the contracted state by being operated in a pressing manner, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the surrounding portion 222 can also be made of other soft materials, and can also move the water tank 22 from the contracted state to the expanded state by the weight of the contained water (not shown) without being operated in a pressing manner.
Referring to fig. 2, 3, 6 and 7, it is to be noted that the rotation direction of the connecting arm 31 from the far position to the near position is defined as a first direction I, and the rotation direction of the saw blade seat 41 from the cutting position to the retracted position is defined as a second direction II, in this embodiment, the second direction II is opposite to the first direction I, so as to minimize the volume and keep the saw blade 42 facing downward when retracted. In addition, by providing the protecting cover 44, since the gap 441 faces the water tank 22 when the connecting arm 31 is in the approaching position and the saw blade seat 41 is in the retracted position, the saw blade 42 can be prevented from being exposed and damaged during storage or transportation.
