The invention discloses a gas water heater, which comprises a water tank, wherein the water tank is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet, and a cold water diversion tank, a first heat exchange unit, a warm water confluence tank, a second heat exchange unit and a hot water collecting tank are sequentially arranged in the water tank from the water inlet to the water outlet. The gas water heater of the invention is different from the traditional 'fire-in-water' structure, and adopts the water tank to collect water for heating instead of pipeline water running for heating, except the burner, the water wall is formed by all sections of water tanks, thus forming a heating mode of 'water-in-water' fire, thus after the hot water switch is temporarily stopped, a certain amount of hot water and warm water are still stored in the water tank, and the hot water and the warm water can not be quickly emptied or cooled down like pipeline water running, when the hot water switch is turned on, the hot water and the warm water in the water tank can be firstly output, and the phenomenon of short-time cold water can not be generated.

The principles and spirit of the present invention will be described with reference to a number of exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. It should be understood that these embodiments are described only to enable those skilled in the art to better understand and to implement the present invention, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention in any way.
Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a gas water heater including a water tank 100, in this embodiment, the water tank 100 is substantially cubic, but may take other suitable shapes.
The water tank 100 is provided with the water inlet 6 and the delivery port 12, and in this embodiment, the water inlet 6 is disposed on the side of the upper portion of the water tank 100, and the delivery port 12 is disposed on the other side of the bottom of the water tank 100, that is, the water inlet 6 and the delivery port 12 are diagonally disposed with respect to the main body of the water tank 100, so that each part and unit inside the water tank 100 can be conveniently disposed in the S direction, and the structure of the gas water heater is more compact.
A cold water channel 7, a cold water diversion box 8, a first heat exchange unit, a warm water confluence box 9, a second heat exchange unit and a hot water header tank 11 are sequentially arranged in the water tank 100 from the water inlet 6 to the water outlet 12. The outside of the heat exchange tube bundle 3 is the junction of a cold water diversion box 8 and a warm water confluence box 9.

When the gas water heater provided by the invention works, cold water enters the cold water diversion tank 8, then exchanges heat with the heat exchange tube bundle 3 to become warm water, enters the warm water confluence tank 9, then enters the heating tube 2 to be heated to become hot water, enters the hot water collection tank 11, and finally is discharged out of the hot water outlet 12. Flue gas generated by the combustor 1 is firstly used for heating the heating pipe 2, then upwards enters the heat exchange pipe bundle 3 for exchanging heat with cold water, and finally is discharged out of the gas water heater through the smoke collection box 4 and the chimney 5.

6. The gas water heater of claim 5, wherein the heating tube is horizontally disposed.
7. The gas fired water heater of claim 3, wherein the inner wall of said heat exchanger tube bundle is provided with a plurality of fins.
8. The gas water heater of claim 7, wherein the heat exchanger tube bundle is vertically disposed.
9. The gas water heater of claim 1, wherein the cold water diversion tank, the first heat exchange unit, the warm water confluence tank, the second heat exchange unit and the hot water collection tank are arranged in an S-shaped orientation.
