Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is an IC card held by a mobile Subscriber of the GSM system. The GSM system identifies the GSM subscriber by means of a SIM card. The same SIM card can be used on different mobile phones. The GSM mobile phone can be accessed to the network only after the SIM card is inserted. And so-called eSIM cards, i.e., Embedded-SIM, Embedded SIM cards. The eSIM card concept is to embed a conventional SIM card directly onto the device chip rather than adding it as a separate removable component to the device, without the user having to insert a physical SIM card. This will allow the user more flexibility in choosing a package of operators or changing operators at any time without having to unlock the equipment or purchase new equipment. The future universal eSIM standard establishment can save more mobile equipment use cost for common consumers and enterprise users, and bring more convenience and safety.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for managing an eSIM card in an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes:
s101: when a starting-up instruction is detected, initializing the eSIM card and a common SIM card in the electronic equipment;
embodiments of the present application are generally directed to a dual-card electronic device, such as a mobile device including but not limited to a mobile phone, a tablet, a smart watch, or the like, configured with a common SIM card and an eSIM card, or other electronic devices including at least one common SIM card and at least one eSIM card.
The step aims to initialize both the eSIM card and the common SIM card when a starting instruction of the electronic equipment is detected. The specific initialization process is not limited herein, and operations including, but not limited to, reading information of the SIM card are generally required to determine information such as the card number, communication frequency, and the like of the SIM card.
S102: establishing data transmission between the common SIM card and a user interface of the electronic equipment, and shielding the data transmission between the eSIM card and the user interface;
in this step, data connection between the user interface and the two SIM cards needs to be established, and it should be noted that the eSIM card is not visible to the user, that is, any data transmission between the eSIM card and the user interface needs to be shielded, so that the state information of the eSIM card and the like are not visible to the user. The state of the ordinary SIM card, such as the current network state, the applied operator and other information can be displayed through data transmission with the user interface and is visible to the user.
The method for shielding data transmission between the eSIM card and the user interface is not limited, and the data shielding between the eSIM card and the user interface can be realized by configuring the baseband chip, that is, prohibiting data transmitted by the slot corresponding to the eSIM card from being transmitted to the application layer of the electronic device, so that the eSIM card is invisible to the user.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the eSIM card is in the invisible state, that is, in the full usage flow from the power-on initialization of the electronic device to the application of the electronic device and the power-off process of the electronic device, the eSIM card is invisible to the user, and the user cannot change the application state of the eSIM card.
S103: and when the electronic equipment enters a deactivated state, switching the user identity identification card currently applied by the electronic equipment from the common SIM card to the eSIM card and networking.
And under the normal operation of the electronic equipment, the network is connected by utilizing the common SIM card. And once the electronic equipment enters the deactivation state, the electronic equipment is automatically switched to the eSIM card for networking in the background of the electronic equipment. Since the eSIM card is not visible to the user, this step is also actually in the background running process, and is likewise not visible to the user.
The deactivated state refers to a state where the user is not operating or cannot operate, for example, the user cannot operate the electronic device during a sleep period, also referred to as a screen lock period, or when the electronic device is turned off. However, it should be noted that the flight state in the mobile device also belongs to the inactive state in this application, and in the flight state, the networking function of the ordinary SIM card in the electronic device cannot be normally applied. It should be further noted that how to enter the deactivated state in this step is not limited, and may be that the apparatus enters the deactivated state through active operation of the user, or may directly enter the deactivated state due to long-time non-use of the apparatus, or the like.
In this step, there is no particular limitation on how to switch the SIM card currently used by the electronic device from the ordinary SIM card to the eSIM card and perform networking, and one possible manner is:
firstly, performing networking diagnosis on a current common SIM card in the electronic equipment, and when the electronic equipment enters a disabled state, determining the networking state of the common SIM card in the electronic equipment. Because the electronic devices are usually connected to the network through the common SIM card, when the electronic devices enter the disabled state, whether the network connection of the current electronic devices is normal is determined. If the SIM card is normal, the switching from the common SIM card to the eSIM card is naturally not required.
In other words, the essence of this step is that the baseband chip changes the SIM card to which it is applied, but the SIM card remains physically connected to the electronic device. Even when the electronic device is not powered off, the SIM card function is still usable, but is restricted in use due to the electronic device entering a deactivated state.
It is easy to understand that before the SIM card of the user identity card currently applied to the electronic device is switched from the ordinary SIM card to the eSIM card, the eSIM configuration file corresponding to the eSIM card may be obtained first, and the eSIM configuration file is imported into the electronic device, so as to implement configuration of the eSIM card, so that initialization of the eSIM card is completed after the electronic device is started, and this process may be completed by a manufacturer of the electronic device.
When the step is executed, different switching modes can be adopted according to different deactivation states.
As an implementation manner of this embodiment, if the deactivation state is a sleep state, after the electronic device enters the sleep state and meets a preset duration, the background of the electronic device automatically activates the eSIM card to perform networking and maintain network connection.
As another implementation manner of this embodiment, if the deactivation state is a power-off state, after it is detected that the electronic device enters the power-off state, the baseband chip is controlled to maintain the power-on state, and the baseband chip is used to ensure network connection of the eSIM card. Of course, after the power-off state is entered and the second preset duration is met, the eSIM card may be enabled to perform networking and maintain network connection. Of course, the preset time period and the second preset time period are not limited herein, and can be set by those skilled in the art, and both of them can be the same time period. For other disabled states, the application process settings in the hibernation state and the shutdown state may be referred to, and the description thereof is not repeated here.
This step is intended to network and maintain network connectivity using eSIM cards. It is easily understood that before networking using the eSIM card, number information of the eSIM card may be set and an operator package of the eSIM card may be configured. It is to be understood that the number information of the eSIM card, the operator package, and the like are not limited thereto, and can be set by the manufacturer of the electronic device.
When the eSIM card networking is performed, the eSIM card networking can be performed according to the network connection parameters in the configured eSIM configuration file, and the network connection can be maintained. The network connection parameters are not limited herein, and may include a frequency of a network, an IP address, a networking frequency of the electronic device, and the like.
It should be noted that, in this step, the electronic device is not required to maintain the network connection at all times, and the electronic device is required to have the network connection only when information needs to be transmitted. For example, in a search process for a person who is lost in the field, the mobile phone of the lost person is limited, and usually the lost person is kept at the minimum use requirement or even powered off, and in the process, in order to ensure that the positioning information can be transmitted for a longer time to be saved, the eSIM card networking process may be executed every ten minutes or half an hour and the positioning information of the mobile phone is transmitted.
In addition, once the electronic equipment exits the deactivated state, correspondingly, the network connection of the eSIM card is ended, and the electronic equipment is connected with the ordinary SIM card instead, namely, the electronic equipment enters the normal application state.
The method and the device for setting the dual-card electronic equipment can be applied to dual-card electronic equipment with a common SIM card and an eSIM card, when the electronic equipment is initialized, the eSIM card and the common SIM card are initialized at the same time, but only the common SIM card is visible for a user, but the eSIM card is hidden for the user and cannot be seen in state. Therefore, when the electronic equipment enters a non-use state, namely a state that a user does not actually use the electronic equipment, the user identity identification card applied to the current electronic equipment is changed, the common SIM card is changed into the eSIM card, and the network connection of the eSIM card is established, so that the network connection of the electronic equipment is not interrupted when the use state of the electronic equipment is changed.
On the basis of the above embodiment, as a preferred embodiment, after networking is performed by using the eSIM card and a network connection is maintained, the eSIM card management instruction sent by the remote server is acquired, so that the electronic device executes the eSIM card function corresponding to the eSIM card management instruction. For example, the wake-up time of the electronic device can be set through a network connection of the eSIM card.
Still taking the search for the lost personnel in the field as an example, once the search and rescue personnel find the mobile phone of the lost personnel, the mobile phone of the lost personnel can be confirmed through the established network connection, and even the information such as the electric quantity and the like, so that the mobile phone awakening time of the lost personnel can be changed. Under the condition of abundant electric quantity, the dormancy awakening frequency of the mobile phone can be increased, otherwise, the cell phone is suitable for awakening at the lower dormancy awakening frequency, and therefore remote configuration of awakening time is achieved. Of course, the wake-up time is not limited herein and can be configured by those skilled in the art.
The following describes, in a possible implementation manner, a method for managing an eSIM card in an electronic device provided by the present application:
firstly, when the mobile equipment leaves a factory, an eSIM is built in, a commercial eSIM profile configuration file is imported, and a preset operator package is set;
because the eSIM card is mainly used for networking and transmitting a small amount of data, such as positioning information of a positioning component, etc., the data traffic demand is low, and an operator package of the eSIM card can be configured in advance after a manufacturer of the mobile device negotiates with an operator.
And secondly, normally initializing the eSIM card and the common SIM card in the process of starting up and initializing the mobile equipment so that the eSIM card can normally work, but the eSIM card is hidden and invisible for a user, and the user cannot know the initialization, operation and other states of the eSIM card.
Because the conventional networking requirements of users can be fulfilled by a common SIM card, when the eSIM card is set invisible to the users, all the settings of the users are invalid for the eSIM card, for example, in an airplane mode, only the airplane mode is actually set for the common SIM card, but the eSIM card is invalid.
Thirdly, in the normal starting process of the mobile equipment, the data service is completed through the networking of a common SIM card; then entering a fourth step when the mobile device enters a dormant state; entering a fifth step when the mobile equipment enters a power-off state;
and fourthly, under the condition that the normal SIM can not be networked, automatically switching the background to an eSIM (embedded subscriber identity Module) networking state, realizing real-time online, and remotely configuring the awakening interval time.
And fifthly, the baseband chip continues to keep the power-on state, the eSIM network connection is established, and meanwhile, the awakening interval time can be remotely configured.
And sixthly, when the mobile equipment is recovered from the power-off state or the dormant state, when the common SIM networking is detected, the mobile equipment is automatically switched to the common SIM card for communication, so that the exclusive flow of the eSIM card is saved.
And when the fourth step and the fifth step are executed, the remote electronic equipment can be connected through the eSIM card, and the management control function of the eSIM card is realized.
In the following, a management system of an eSIM card in an electronic device provided by an embodiment of the present application is introduced, and a management system described below and a management method of an eSIM card in an electronic device described above may be referred to correspondingly.
