The document processing system of the embodiment includes a client and a server, and the client includes a control module, and an input module, a display module, a selection module, a time axis control module and an operation button identification module which are respectively connected to the control module, as shown in fig. 2. The user uses the editor (input module) of the client side to edit the document, the edited document is displayed in a page form in a whole, the editor automatically creates or the user selects to create a plurality of blocks to store the edited content, the user can edit the content of each block independently, and a single page can display a plurality of blocks simultaneously. The document processing system stores page contents of a document, and specifically, if a control module of a client identifies an editing operation (the editing operation includes insertion, deletion, format setting and the like) of a block in a page by a user, the control module records a current state of the identified block, namely, generates a history version independent of the page of the identified block. The history version includes the content of the block and editing information including editing time, editor, etc. In practice, the generation of the page-independent historical version of the identified block is implemented by generating a complete block snapshot for each block created within a predetermined time (e.g., 1 minute), and the document processing system uploads the block snapshots as historical versions of the block from the client and stores the block snapshots in the server, so as to ensure that the data of the block is not lost due to various accidents of the client. The user can refer to the historical documents stored in the server side through a display module of the client side, and replace the current version with the historical document of any version of the block through historical version recovery.
Specifically, a document processing system initiates a historical version task of inquiring a block, a display window 1 of the block shown in fig. 3 is displayed on the client display page in a popup or other mode in real time, a historical document time axis 2 is arranged in the display window 1, a plurality of time nodes 3 respectively corresponding to historical documents at different times are marked on the historical document time axis 2, and each time node 3 is linked to the corresponding historical document stored at the server. In the display window 1, a content display area 4 above a time axis 2 of the history document is used for displaying the content of the history document, and an information display area 5 of the currently displayed history document is on the left side below the time axis 2 of the history document. When the user selects any time node 3 of the historical document time axis 2, the control module of the client controls the content display area 4 to display the corresponding historical document content, and the information display area 5 displays the information of the block type, the editing time, the editor and the like of the historical document. The middle below the historical document time axis 2 is an operation button area, the operation button area comprises an earliest point button 71, a last point button 81, a play button 6, a next point button 82 and a latest point button 72 from left to right in sequence, and when each button of the operation button area is clicked, the operation button identification module transmits an identification signal corresponding to each button to the control module of the client.
