A board-to-board connector for mating connection, comprising the connection cap for a board-to-board connector according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the connector is hermaphroditic and can be used as a male connector (11) or a female connector (12), and 2PCS are mated with each other to be able to be conductively connected.

A board-to-board connector for plug-in connection according to claim 5, wherein the male connector (11) is internally provided with a first elastic terminal (1101), a first contact surface (1102) and a second contact surface (1103), the female connector (12) is internally provided with a second elastic terminal (1201), a third contact surface (1202) and a fourth contact surface (1203), the first elastic terminal (1101) is in elastic contact with the third contact surface (1202) and the fourth contact surface (1203), and the second elastic terminal (1201) is in contact with the first contact surface (1102) and the second contact surface (1103).

A method of using a connection cap for a board-to-board connector according to any of claims 1 to 4, comprising a method of positioning, inspecting, plugging, protecting or drying the board-to-board connector with a connection cap based on a spacing rib (3) structure, comprising the following steps:
s1, the movable insertion of spacing ribs (3) of a connecting cap is adopted and arranged in a 7-shaped manner, so that the pin arrangement spacing and the pin length of the connector with different pin arrangement requirements are detected, fixed or protected;
s2, a layer of heating film is arranged on the inner surface of the side plate (9) to realize constant-temperature drying inside;
and S3, a structure that the spacing ribs, the limiting columns, the limiting platforms and the limiting holes of the connecting caps are combined is adopted, and fixing and limiting insertion of the connector are further achieved.
