The first input may be a touch input, a voice input, or other types of inputs, which are not limited in this respect. Alternatively, the first input may be that the user pulls down the message notification bar, and in case of receiving the first input, the target interface is displayed.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2 and 3, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the target interface includes a first application icon, where the first application icon is an application icon of an application program including an unread notification message.
For example, if the unread notification message is a short message, the first application icon is an application icon corresponding to the application program "short message".
In an optional implementation manner, referring to fig. 2, in the application scenario shown in fig. 2, the target interface is provided with a display area, the display area is used for displaying the first application icons, and the first application icons are displayed in a horizontal arrangement in the display area.
In another alternative embodiment, referring to fig. 3, as shown in fig. 3, in the application scenario shown in fig. 3, the target interface is provided with a display area, the display area is used for displaying the first application icons, and the first application icons are arranged and displayed in the display area in a vertical direction.
And S102, displaying a message management list corresponding to the target application program under the condition that the second input to the first target icon is received.
The first target icon is at least part of the first application icon. In this step, the user may perform an operation on at least a portion of the first application icon displayed on the target interface to determine the first target icon.
For example, referring to fig. 4, in the application scenario shown in fig. 4, a user may perform touch operation on three first application icons, namely "short message," "browser," and "game," displayed on a target interface, and determine the three first application icons as first target icons to perform batch setting on notification messages of an application program. It should be appreciated that in other embodiments, the user may determine at least a portion of the first application icon as the first target icon by way of other operations, such as voice input.
The second input may be a touch input or other types of inputs, which are not limited in this respect. In this step, the user may perform a second input on the first target icon, and display a message management list corresponding to a target application program in a case where the second input is received, where the target application program is associated with the first target icon.
Specifically, referring to fig. 5, in the application scenario shown in fig. 5, after receiving the second input, only 1 message management list is optionally displayed, and the message management list includes three message setting items, namely, "preset retention time", "close notification message", and "delayed reminder".
S103, receiving a third input of at least part of message setting items in the message management list.
In this step, as shown in fig. 5, the message management list includes at least one message setting item, the pointing object of the third input is at least a part of the message setting item in the message management list, and the third input may be a touch input or other types of inputs, which is not limited specifically herein.

and under the condition that the receiving time length corresponding to the unread notification message reaches a preset reserved time length, eliminating preview information corresponding to the unread notification message displayed in the second display area, and displaying a reminding identifier in a preset area of a first application icon corresponding to the unread notification message.
In this embodiment, the message management parameter includes a preset retention time, and the preset retention time may be adjusted by setting the message management parameter. As described above, the second display area displays the preview information corresponding to the unread notification message, in this embodiment, when the receiving duration corresponding to the unread notification message reaches the preset reserved duration, the preview information corresponding to the unread notification message is hidden in the second display area, and the prompt identifier is displayed in the preset area of the first application icon corresponding to the unread notification message. Wherein the reminder identification is used to characterize the number of unread notification messages.
Referring to fig. 7, as shown in fig. 7, a reminding identifier is displayed in a preset area of the first application icon "short message" in fig. 7, the reminding identifier is displayed in a form of a digital corner mark, and the digital corner mark represents a number 8, which indicates that 8 unread notification messages exceeding a preset reserved time exist corresponding to the first application icon "short message". Optionally, the preset retention time is one hour.
It should be understood that in other application scenarios, the reminder identifier may also be presented in other manners, such as a graphical identifier, which is not specifically limited herein.
In this embodiment, the preset reserved time length is set, the unread notification message of which the receiving time length reaches the preset reserved time length is eliminated in the target interface, and the reminding identifier is displayed in the preset area of the corresponding first application icon, so that the target interface is more attractive and concise.
