The embodiment of the application discloses a display device and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the display device comprises: the display panel comprises a display panel body and a protective cover plate arranged on the display side of the display panel body, wherein the protective cover plate comprises a protective cover plate body which is made of organic materials. According to the display device, the protective cover plate made of the organic material is used for replacing the stripping protective cover plate, so that the display device becomes light and thin, the cost of the display device is reduced, and the strength of the display device is improved.

Background
Display panels of Organic Light Emitting Display (OLED) type have been widely used in human life, such as Display screens of mobile phones and computers. The hardness of the surface of the OLED display panel is low, so that the display device needs to be provided with a protective cover plate (CG) attached to the display side of the display panel to improve the scratch resistance and other performances of the display device.
However, in the prior art, the protective cover plate is made of glass, and the protective cover plate made of glass has the defects of heavy thickness, high cost and low strength.
Disclosure of Invention
The application provides a display device and a manufacturing method of the display device, which can solve the problems of heavy thickness, high cost and low strength of a protective cover plate made of glass.

The embodiment of the application provides a display device 100, the display device 100 includes a display panel 10 and a protective cover plate 15, the display panel 10 includes a display panel body 11, the protective cover plate 15 is disposed on the display side of the display panel body 11, the protective cover plate 15 includes a protective cover plate body 151, and the protective cover plate body 151 is made of an organic material.
Specifically, the display panel 10 includes a display panel body 11, and the display panel 10 may further include other structures, which will be described later.
Specifically, when the display panel 10 is an organic light emitting display panel, the display panel body 11 includes an array substrate, a light emitting device layer, and an encapsulation layer, and the display panel body 11 refers to a structure or a component for displaying an image.

Specifically, the protective cover plate body 151 is made of an organic material, and the organic material has the advantage of being light and thin compared with glass, and the protective cover plate made of the organic material is used to replace a glass protective cover plate, so that the display device becomes light and thin, the cost of the display device is reduced, and the mechanical strength of the display device is improved.
In some embodiments, the protective cover sheet 15 has a surface hardness greater than or equal to 6HB (brinell hardness number).
Specifically, the surface hardness of the protective cover 15 is 6HB or more, and scratch resistance of the display device can be provided with high strength.
Further, a hardened layer, such as a hardened coating, may be provided on the surface of the protective cover body 151.
In some embodiments, the protective cover 15 further includes anti-glare particles 152 disposed on a surface of the protective cover body 151 on a side away from the display panel body 11.
Specifically, the anti-glare particles 152 may play a role in preventing glare by reducing total reflection of ambient light such as sunlight or by filtering out high-color-temperature rays in sunlight to reduce the intensity of reflected light.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, the anti-glare particles 152 may be integrally formed with the protective cover body 151.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, the anti-glare particles 152 may be an anti-glare layer 150 disposed on a surface of the protective cover body 151 on a side away from the display panel body 11, and a material of the anti-glare layer 150 is different from a material of the protective cover body 151.
Specifically, the protective cover 15 may use an anti-glare film.
In some embodiments, the display panel 10 further includes a touch film 13, and the touch film 13 is disposed between the display panel body 11 and the protective cover 15.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4, the touch film 13 may include a first touch electrode 131 and a second touch electrode 132, and the first touch electrode 131 and the second touch electrode 132 may be a touch receiving electrode and a touch transmitting electrode, respectively, and are not limited herein.
Specifically, the touch film 13 may be any one of touch films in the prior art, and the type and the detailed structure of the touch film are not described herein again.
In some embodiments, the material of the protective cover plate body 151 includes at least one of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), and Polyimide (PI).
It should be noted that the protective cover 15 is attached to the touch film 13 through the optical adhesive layer 14, that is, the optical adhesive layer 14 is disposed between the protective cover 15 and the touch film 13, and the optical adhesive layer 14 may include, but is not limited to, OCA and OCR.
It should be noted that the touch film 13 and the polarizer 12 are attached to each other through the optical adhesive layer 14, that is, the optical adhesive layer 14 is disposed between the touch film 13 and the polarizer 12, and the optical adhesive layer 14 may include, but is not limited to, OCA and OCR.
In the embodiment of the present application, the protective cover body 151 is made of an organic material, and the organic material has a light and thin advantage compared to glass, and the protective cover made of the organic material is used to replace a peeling protective cover, so that the display device becomes light and thin, the cost of the display device is reduced, and the strength of the display device is improved.
Example two
Referring to fig. 5 and fig. 6, fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a first flow step of a method for manufacturing a display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; fig. 6 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a second process of a method for manufacturing a display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
The present embodiment provides a method for manufacturing a display device, and the display device 100 in any of the above embodiments can be manufactured by the method for manufacturing a display device in this embodiment.
The embodiment of the application provides a manufacturing method of a display device, which at least comprises the following manufacturing steps: step S100, step S200, and step S300.
Step S100: a display panel is provided, which includes a display panel body.
Specifically, a display panel 10 is provided, and the display panel 10 includes a display panel body 11.
Step S200: a protective cover plate is provided, and the protective cover plate comprises a protective cover plate body which is made of organic materials.
Specifically, a protective cover 15 is provided, the protective cover 15 includes a protective cover body 151, and the protective cover body 151 is made of an organic material.
Step S300: and the protective cover plate is attached to the display side of the display panel body.

step S210, providing the protective cover plate and a touch film;
step S220, attaching the protective cover plate to the touch film;
