The embodiment of the present application takes an electronic device as an example for description. In an alternative case, the first screen region and the second screen region may be two regions of the same screen. Illustratively, the terminal may be a terminal having a split screen function. The display screen of the terminal can be split into two display areas, namely a first screen area and a second screen area, and the two display areas can display different contents.
In another alternative case, the first screen region and the second screen region may be two regions on different screens. Illustratively, the terminal may be a folding screen terminal. The folder screen terminal refers to a terminal having a foldable display screen. The display screen of the terminal may include a first screen and a second screen. The first screen region may be a region on the first screen; the second screen region may be a region on the second screen. Illustratively, the terminal may be a mobile phone, a personal computer, a tablet computer, a wearable device, or the like. The embodiment of the application takes the electronic device as a folding screen terminal as an example for explanation. As shown in fig. 1, the icon management method includes:
step 101, displaying at least one icon in a first screen area, and displaying a first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in a second screen area, wherein the icon includes at least one of the following items: application icons, folder icons.
In this embodiment of the application, the first folder icon may refer to a first desktop folder to which an icon is to be added. The first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon may be used to display an application icon included in the first desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon. The icon displayed by the terminal in the first screen area may be an icon to be added to the first desktop folder. Illustratively, the icons displayed by the terminal in the first screen area may be all or part of the icons of the terminal.
Alternatively, the icons displayed by the first screen region may include an application icon and a folder icon. Alternatively, the icons displayed by the first screen region may include application icons. Alternatively, the icons displayed by the first screen area may include folder icons. Illustratively, as shown in fig. 2, the terminal displays application icons "app 1" through "app 18" within a first screen (i.e., a first screen region) 201. And displays a first folder show window 2021 of a first folder icon "folder a" within the second screen (i.e., the second screen region) 202. The first folder presentation window 2021 includes an application icon "app 20".
Step 202, receiving a first input of a user.
In the embodiment of the application, a user can select a first target icon to be added to a first desktop folder from at least one icon displayed in a first screen area, and then execute a first input, so that the terminal moves the first target icon to a first folder display window, and the first target icon is added to the first desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon.
Wherein, the number of the first target icons can be one or more. Alternatively, the first target icon may be all icons of the at least one icon. Or, a portion of the at least one icon. The first input may be an input for moving the first target icon to the first folder display window. Alternatively, the first input may be a click input, a long press input, a slide input, or an input to move the first target icon from the first screen area to the first folder display window, etc. for the first target icon.
Step 203, responding to the first input, and moving a first target icon in the at least one icon to the first folder display window.
Illustratively, assume that the first target icon is "app 1" and the first input is an input to move the first target icon from the first screen region to the first folder presentation window. The user may move app1 from the first screen region to a first folder presentation window of the second screen region. Such that the terminal, upon receiving the first input, moves app1 into the first folder presentation window in response to the first input to add app1 to the first desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon. For another example, the first target icon includes "app 1" and "app 2", and the first input is a long press input for the first target icon. The user can click on app1 and app 2. So that the terminal, after receiving a long press input for the first target icon, moves apps 1 and 2 into the first folder display window in response to the long press input to add apps 1 and 2 to the desktop folder to which the icon is to be added.
To sum up, according to the icon management method provided by the embodiment of the application, at least one icon is displayed in the first screen area, and the first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon is displayed in the second screen area, so that after a first input of a user is received, a first target icon in the at least one icon is moved to the first folder display window in response to the first input, and a function of adding the first target icon to the first folder display window is realized. In the technical scheme, the first target icon can be directly added to the desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon in a manner of moving the first target icon displayed in the first screen area of the display screen to the first folder display window. Compared with the related art, the method and the device avoid the processes of interface jumping and the like, simplify the operation process of aggregating the application icons to the desktop folder, and improve the icon management efficiency. In addition, in the process of adding the application icon to the desktop folder by adopting the related technology, jumping between the desktop folder display interface and the application icon selection interface is required. Therefore, when a user wants to know the contents included in the desktop folder, the user needs to return to jump to the display interface of the desktop folder, and thus the user cannot intuitively know the icon difference included in the desktop folder before and after the application icon is added. Therefore, in the technical scheme, the icons to be added to the desktop folders and the folder display windows of the desktop folders to which contents are to be added can be displayed on the same screen. Therefore, compared with the related art, the icon difference included by the desktop folder before and after the icon is added can be more intuitively known, the situation of adding a wrong icon is avoided, the efficiency of adding the icon to the desktop folder is improved, and the icon management efficiency is further improved.
Please refer to fig. 3, which shows a flowchart of another icon management method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The icon management method may be applied to an electronic device.
In another alternative, the first screen region and the second screen region may be two regions on different screens. 3, the icon management method includes:
And 301, receiving a second input of the first folder icon by the user.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal can display the first folder icon of the first desktop folder. If the user wants to add an application icon to the first desktop folder or delete an application icon included in the first desktop folder, a second input may be performed on the first desktop folder icon. The second input is used for enabling the terminal to display at least one icon in the first screen area, and a first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon is displayed in the second screen area. Optionally, on the basis that the first folder icon is displayed on the terminal, other icons of the terminal may also be displayed, and the other icons may be application icons of application programs and/or folder icons of other desktop folders. The icon displayed by the terminal in the first screen area may be an icon to be added to the first desktop folder. For example, the icons displayed by the terminal in the first screen area may be all icons of the terminal.
The second input may be: the first folder icon may be a specific gesture input by the user, and the specific gesture input by the user may be determined according to actual use requirements.
The specific gesture in the embodiment of the application can be any one of a single-click gesture, a sliding gesture, a dragging gesture, a pressure identification gesture, a long-press gesture, an area change gesture, a double-press gesture and a double-click gesture; the click input in the embodiment of the application can be click input, double-click input, click input of any number of times and the like, and can also be long-time press input or short-time press input.
It should be noted that the first desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon may be a new blank folder, or may also be a desktop folder that is established in history and already includes an application icon. In the case that the first desktop folder is a new blank folder, optionally, before the terminal performs step 301, the establishing process of the first desktop folder may be performed, where the establishing process may include: the terminal receives input aiming at the new folder identification, responds to the input, establishes a first desktop folder, and displays a first folder icon of the first desktop folder.
Step 302, in response to a second input, displaying at least one icon in the first screen area, and displaying a first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in the second screen area.
In an optional implementation manner, after receiving a second input for the first folder icon, the terminal may start the screen splitting function in response to the second input, so as to display at least one icon in the first screen area, and display a first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in the second screen area. The first folder display window may be used to display all application icons included in the first desktop folder.
In another optional implementation manner, after receiving a second input for the first folder icon, the terminal may display at least one icon in a first screen area of the first screen and display the first folder display window in a second screen area of the second screen in response to the second input.
For one example, as shown in fig. 4, the terminal is displayed with first folder icons "folder a" and 18 application icons "app 1" through "app 18". Assume that the first desktop folder to which the first folder icon corresponds includes the application icon "app 20" and that the second input is a click input. The user clicks on folder a in the display interface shown in fig. 4. After receiving the click input of the first folder icon, the terminal responds to the click input and displays the interface shown in fig. 2. As shown in fig.
Another example, the terminal is displayed with a first folder icon "folder a", 16 application icons "app 1" through "app 16", and two folder icons "folder 1" and "folder 2". Assume that the first desktop folder to which the first folder icon corresponds includes the application icon "app 20" and that the second input is a click input. The user clicks on folder a, so that after the terminal receives a click input for the first folder icon, the interface shown in fig. 5 is displayed in response to the click input. As shown in fig. 5, the terminal displays application icons "app 1" through "app 16" and folder icons "folder 1" and "folder 2" within a first screen (i.e., a first screen region) 501. And a first folder presentation window 5021 of a first folder icon "folder a" is displayed within the second screen (i.e., the second screen region) 502. The first folder presentation window 5021 includes an application icon "app 20".
Step 303, receiving a first input of a user.
The number of the first target icons may be one or more. Alternatively, the first target icon may be all icons of the at least one icon. Or, a portion of the at least one icon.
Step 304, in response to the first input, moving a first target icon of the at least one icon into the first folder display window.
In the embodiment of the present application, the number of the first target icons may be one or more. Alternatively, the first target icon may be all icons of the at least one icon. Or, a portion of the at least one icon. The icon sorting method provided by the embodiment of the present application is further described below for different situations of the first target icon that the user wants to select.
In a first optional case, the first target icon is all icons of the at least one icon.
Optionally, the terminal displays at least one icon in the first screen area, and after the first folder display window is displayed in the second screen area, all icons displayed in the first screen area may be defaulted to be the first target icon. If the user wants to add all the icons displayed in the first screen area to the first desktop folder. The user may perform the first input after the terminal displays the at least one icon in the first screen region and the first folder display window in the second screen region. So that the terminal moves the first target icon into the first folder display window in response to the first input. The first input is used for moving all icons displayed in the first screen area to the first folder display window as first target icons. Alternatively, the first input may be a slide input from the first screen region to the second screen region. Alternatively, the first input may be a double-click input to the first screen region, or the like.
It is assumed that the first input may be a slide input from the first screen region to the second screen region. For example, for the interface shown in fig. 2, if the user wants to add all of the application icons "app 1" through "app 18" to the first desktop folder, a sliding input from the first screen region to the second screen region may be performed in the interface shown in fig. 2. The terminal receives the sliding input, and moves the application icon app1 through the application icon app18 to the first folder display window. And stops displaying the application icon app1 through 18 in the first screen region and displays the application icon app1 through application icon app18 in the first folder display window.
For another example, with respect to the interface shown in fig. 5, if the user wants to add all application icons in the desktop folders corresponding to the application icons "app 1" to "app 16" and the folder icons "folder 1" and "folder 2" to the first desktop folder, a sliding input from the first screen region to the second screen region may be performed in the interface shown in fig. 5. The terminal receives the sliding input, and moves the application icons app1 to app icon app18, all the application icons in the desktop folder corresponding to the folder 1, and all the application icons in the desktop folder corresponding to the folder 2 to the first folder display window.
In a second alternative, the first target icon is a portion of the at least one icon.
In an optional implementation manner, after the terminal displays the at least one icon in the first screen area, and after the second screen area displays the first folder display window, if the user wants to add a part of the icons displayed in the first screen area to the first desktop folder, the user may perform a first input to select a part of the icons that are desired to be added to the first desktop folder from the icons displayed in the first screen area and move the part of the icons into the first folder display window. It should be noted that, of course, the user may also select all the icons displayed in the first screen area through the first input, and move the selected icons to the first folder display window. The first target icon is taken as an example of a part of at least one icon in the present application.
Optionally, the first input may include a first sub-input and a second sub-input. The first sub-input is used for selecting the first target icon. The second sub-input is an input of moving the selected first target icon to the first folder display window. The process of the terminal moving the first target icon of the at least one icon into the first folder display window in response to the first input may include the following steps S11 to S13.
In step S11, in response to the first sub-input, a first target icon of the at least one icon is brought into a selected state.
Alternatively, the first sub-input may be a box input or a click input to the first target icon, and the like. For example, in the case where the first sub-input is a box input, the first sub-input may be a slide input along the outline of the partial region, or a movement input to the selection box. For example, the terminal displays an interface as shown in fig. 2. Assume that the first target icons are app9 through app 18. The user may slide input along a contour line including the area where app9 through app18 are located in the interface shown in fig. 2, i.e., the user may slide input along the wrap-around app9 through app 18. The terminal sets application icons app9 through app18 included in the area corresponding to the slide input to a selected state in response to the slide input. At this time, the terminal may display an interface as shown in fig. 6. The difference between the interface shown in fig. 6 and the interface shown in fig. 2 is: the interface shown in fig. 6 has a movement trajectory line 601 of a slide input, and may be considered as a selection box of a frame selection input. The movement trajectory line may be used to identify a range of the frame selection input.
In another example, the first sub-input is a click input. The terminal displays an interface as shown in fig. 2. Assume that the first target icons are app3 through app 6. The user may click on apps 3 through 6 in the interface shown in FIG. 2. The terminal responds to the click input, causing apps 3-6 to be in the selected state. At this time, the terminal may perform identification processing on the selected application icon. For example, highlighting the first target application icon in the selected state, or changing the modality of the first target application icon in the selected state, etc.
In step S12, a second sub-input by the user is received.
In the embodiment of the application, after the user selects the icon to be added to the first desktop folder, the user can perform second sub-input on the selected icon to move the selected icon to the first desktop folder. Alternatively, the second sub-input may be a slide input from the first screen region to the second screen region, or an input of moving the selected first target icon to the second screen region, or a long press operation on the selected first target icon, or the like.
In step S13, in response to the second sub-input, the first target icon in the selected state is moved into the first folder display window.
Illustratively, assume that the second sub-input is an input to move the selected first target icon to the second screen region. The user performs the first sub-input so that the terminal displays the interface as shown in fig. 6. The user may, in the interface shown in fig. 6, long press and slide app9 through app18 in the selected state, move app9 through app18 to the second screen area to add app icons app9 through app18 to the first desktop folder.
It should be noted that, the user may also remove a part of icons from the first target icon in the selected state to update the first target icon in the selected state, so as to more flexibly implement selection of the icon to be added to the first desktop folder. The process of the terminal moving a first target icon among the at least one icon into the first folder display window in response to the first input may include the following steps S21 through S25.
In step S21, in response to the first sub-input, a first target icon of the at least one icon is brought into a selected state.
For explanation and implementation of this step, reference may be made to step S11, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the present application.
In step S22, a third input by the user to the first icon of the first target icons in the selected state is received.
In the embodiment of the application, after the user selects the first target icon, if the user wants to remove the first icon in the selected first target icon, the user abandons adding the first icon to the first desktop file. A third input may be performed on the first icon, the third input being used to deselect the icon. Optionally, the third input may be a click input on the first icon, or a voice instruction input by the user, or a specific gesture input by the user, which may be specifically determined according to actual use requirements, and is not limited in this embodiment of the application.
In step S23, in response to the third input, the first icon is deselected.
Optionally, after receiving a third input to the first icon in the selected first target icon, the terminal may respond to the third input to deselect the first icon, make the first icon in an unselected state, and perform the second identification processing on the first icon. And reminding the user that the first icon in the first target icon in the selected state is removed.
Illustratively, assume the first icons are app10, app15, and app 17. The user performs the first sub-input so that the terminal displays the interface as shown in fig. 6. The user can click on app10, app14, and app15 in the interface shown in fig. 6. After the terminal receives the click input for the first icon, app10, app14, and app15 are deselected in response to the click input. The first target icon in the selected state at this time includes app9, app11 through app13, app16 through app 18. The terminal may highlight the grayscales for app10, app14, and app 15. At this time, the terminal may display an interface as shown in fig. 7 on the display screen. The difference between the interface shown in fig. 7 and the interface shown in fig. 6 is that app10, app14, and app15 in the interface shown in fig. 7 are highlighted in gray (indicated by oblique lines in fig. 7).
In step S24, a second sub-input by the user is received.
For explanation and implementation of this step, reference may be made to step S12, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the application.
In step S25, in response to the second sub-input, the first target icon in the selected state is moved into the first folder display window.
Exemplarily, the example under step S23 is continued as an example. Assume that the second sub-input is an input of moving the selected first target icon to the second screen region. The user performs the completion of the first sub-input and the third input so that the terminal displays the interface as shown in fig. 7. The user may long press and slide the first target icon in the selected state in the interface shown in fig. 7: app9, app11 to app13, app16 to app 18. The first target icon is moved to the second screen area to add the application icons app9, app11 through app13, app16 through app18 to the first desktop folder.
In another optional implementation manner, if the terminal displays at least one icon in the first screen area, after the first folder display window is displayed in the second screen area, all icons displayed in the first screen area are the first target icons by default, that is, all icons displayed in the first screen area are the icons that need to be added to the first desktop folder by default. The method further includes the following steps S31 to S32 before receiving the first input of the user at step 303.
In step S31, a fourth input by the user to a second icon of the at least one icon is received.
In the embodiment of the application, after the terminal displays at least one icon in the first screen area and displays the first folder display window in the second screen area, if a user wants to add other icons except the second icon to the first desktop file in all the icons displayed in the first screen area. A fourth input to a second icon of the at least one icon may be made. Optionally, the fourth input may be a click input on the second icon, or a voice instruction input by the user, or a specific gesture input by the user, which may be specifically determined according to actual use requirements, and is not limited in this embodiment of the application.
The specific gesture in the embodiment of the application can be any one of a single-click gesture, a sliding gesture, a dragging gesture, a pressure identification gesture, a long-press gesture, an area change gesture, a double-press gesture and a double-click gesture; the click input in the embodiment of the application can be single click input, double click input, click input of any number of times and the like, and can also be long-press input or short-press input.
In step S32, in response to a fourth input, an icon other than the second icon among the at least one icon is made the first target icon.
Optionally, after receiving a fourth input to a second icon in the at least one icon, the terminal may, in response to the fourth input, take all icons except the second icon in the at least one icon as the first target icon, and perform the second identification processing on the second icon. Thereby reminding the user that the second icon will not be added to the first desktop folder.
Assume, for one example, that the second icon is the application icon "app 2" and the second input is a click input for the second icon. After the terminal displays the interface as shown in fig. 2 in response to the first input, if the user wants to add an icon in the first screen region except for the second icon app2 to the first desktop folder, the app2 may be clicked to execute the first input. After receiving the click input aiming at the second icon, the terminal responds to the click input, takes the icons in the first screen area except the second icon app2 as first target application icons, and carries out highlight and grey processing on the app 2. And after receiving the first input, moving the first target icon into the first folder display window in response to the first input.
Assume, for another example, that the second icon is the folder icon "folder 1" and the second input is a click input for the second icon. After the terminal displays the interface shown in fig. 5 in response to the first input, if the user wants to add an icon in the first screen area except for the folder 1 to the first desktop folder, the user may click the folder 1 to execute the first input. And after receiving click input aiming at the second icon, responding to the click input, taking the icons except the folder 1 in the first screen area as first target application icons, and performing highlight gray marking on the folder 1. The first target application icons are application icons "app 1" through "app 16" and folder icon "folder 2". After receiving the first input, the terminal moves the first target icon to the first folder display window in response to the first input.
In an optional embodiment of the present application, when the icon management method is applied to a management device including a first screen and a second screen, for example, a folding screen terminal, a user may further cause the terminal to move a first target icon of at least one icon into a first folder expansion window by folding the first screen and the second screen. Illustratively, the user may cause the terminal to move a first target icon of the at least one icon into the first folder expansion window by folding the first screen toward the second screen.
Optionally, the process of the terminal moving the first target icon in the at least one icon into the first folder expansion window may include: and under the condition that the included angle between the first screen and the second screen is smaller than a first angle threshold value, moving a first target icon in the at least one icon into the first folder expansion window.
Illustratively, the first angle threshold may be 90 °. For example, when the terminal has an included angle between the first screen and the second screen of 0 to 90 °, the terminal may move a first target icon of the at least one icon into the first folder expansion window to add the first target icon to the first desktop folder.
In an optional embodiment of the present application, the user may further move the second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area by performing a fifth input, so as to delete the second target icon from the first desktop folder, and display the second target icon in a non-aggregated manner.
Optionally, after the step 302 displays the first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in the second screen area, the method further includes: a fifth input by the user is received. In response to a fifth input, moving a second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area. The implementation manner of the step 303 and the step 304 may be referred to in the implementation manner of the terminal receiving a fifth input of the user and moving the second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area in response to the fifth input, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the present application.
It should be noted that the number of the second target icons may also be one or more. Alternatively, the second target icon may be all of the icons displayed in the first folder display window. Or, part of the icons displayed for the first folder display window. The icon sorting method provided by the embodiment of the present application is further described below for different situations of the first target icon that the user wants to select. For further explanation and implementation manners of sorting the second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area by the terminal according to different situations of the second target icon selected by the user, reference may be made to the further explanation and implementation manners of the icon management method according to different situations of the first target icon that the user wants to select in the embodiment shown in fig. 3, which is not described in detail in this application.
In an optional embodiment of the present application, when the icon management method is applied to a management device including a first screen and a second screen, for example, a folding screen terminal, a user may also move a second target icon in a first folder display window to a first screen area by folding the first screen and the second screen. Illustratively, the user may cause the terminal to move the second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen region by folding the second screen toward the first screen.
Optionally, the process of the terminal moving the second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area may include: and under the condition that the included angle between the first screen and the second screen is smaller than a second angle threshold value, moving a second target icon in the first folder display window to the first screen area. The second angle threshold may be the same as the first angle threshold, or the second angle threshold may be different from the first angle threshold. For example, the second angle threshold may be 90 °. For example, when the terminal has an angle between the first screen and the second screen of 0 to 90 °, the second target icon in the first folder display window may be moved into the first screen area to add the first target icon to the first desktop folder.
In an optional embodiment of the present application, in a case that the at least one icon includes a third folder icon, the user may select an icon that is desired to be added to the first desktop folder from icons included in a third desktop folder, where the third desktop folder is the desktop folder indicated by the third folder icon. Thereby adding the selected first target icon to the first desktop folder. Based on this, in another icon management method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the embodiment is described by taking an electronic device as a folding screen terminal as an example. As shown in fig. 8, the icon management method includes:
Step 801, receiving a second input of the first folder icon from the user.
For explanation and implementation of this step, reference may be made to step 301, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the application.
Step 802, in response to a second input, displaying at least one icon in the first screen area, and displaying a first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in the second screen area.
For explanation and implementation of this step, reference may be made to step 302, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the application.
And step 803, receiving a seventh input of the third folder icon from the user.
In this embodiment, if the user wants to select an icon that is to be added to the first desktop folder from icons included in the third desktop folder, a seventh input may be performed on the icon of the third desktop folder. The seventh input is used to display a second folder display window corresponding to the third folder icon in the first screen area. Optionally, the seventh input may be an input in the form of clicking, long-pressing, sliding, or voice on the third folder icon, similar to other inputs, and will not be described herein again.
And step 804, responding to the seventh input, and displaying a second folder display window corresponding to the third folder icon in the first screen area.
In an embodiment of the present application, the second folder display window may be used to display an application icon included in the third desktop folder. For example, assume that the third folder icon is the folder icon "folder 1" shown in fig. 5, the seventh input is a click input to the third folder icon, and the third desktop folder indicated by folder 1 includes application icons "app 1" through "app 6". The user performs a second input to the first folder icon after causing the terminal to display the interface as shown in fig. 5. If the user wants to select an icon that is to be added to the first desktop folder from icons included in the third desktop folder indicated by folder 1, a click input may be performed on file 1 within the first screen area. The terminal receives the click input, and in response to the click input, displays an interface as shown in fig. 9. In the interface shown in fig. 9, a second folder display window 9011 corresponding to file 1 is displayed in the first screen area 901, and a first folder display window 9021 corresponding to file a is displayed in the second screen area 902. The second folder show window 9011 displays a third desktop folder including apps 1 through 6.
Step 805, receiving a first input of a user.
Optionally, the user may select a first target icon to be added to the first desktop folder from icons displayed in the second folder display window in the current first screen area, and then perform a first input, so that the terminal moves the first target icon to the first folder display window, and the first target icon is added to the first desktop folder indicated by the first folder icon. The number of the first target icons may be one or more. Alternatively, the first target icon may be all of the icons displayed within the first screen region. Or, some of the icons displayed in the first screen region.
Step 806, in response to the first input, moving a first target icon of the at least one icon into the first folder display window.
Optionally, after receiving a first input from the user, the terminal may move the first target to the first folder display window among the icons currently displayed in the second folder display window in the first screen area in response to the first input, so as to add the first target icon to the first desktop folder. The first target icon may be all of the icons displayed in the first screen region. Or, some of the icons displayed in the first screen region. For different situations of the first target icon that the user wants to select, the further explanation and implementation manner of the icon sorting method in the embodiment shown in fig. 8 may refer to the further explanation and implementation manner of the icon sorting method in the embodiment shown in fig. 3 for different situations of the first target icon that the user wants to select, which is not described in detail in this application.
In an optional embodiment of the present application, in a case that at least one icon of the first screen region includes a second folder icon, the user may further perform a sixth input on the second folder icon to move all application icons in the second folder icon into the first folder display window, so as to add all application icons included in the second desktop folder into the first desktop folder, where the second desktop folder refers to the desktop folder indicated by the second folder icon.
After displaying at least one icon in the first screen area and displaying the first folder display window corresponding to the first folder icon in the second screen area (or step 802), the method further includes: receiving a sixth input of the second folder icon by the user; in response to a sixth input, all application icons in the second folder icon are moved into the first folder display window.
Alternatively, the sixth input may be in the form of a click, long press, swipe, or voice input to the second folder icon. Illustratively, assuming that the second folder icon is "folder 2", the sixth input may be an input of moving the second folder icon to the first folder presentation window. The user performs a second input on the first folder icon so that the terminal displays the interface as shown in fig. 5. The user may click on folder 2. The terminal receives click input to the folder 2, and all application icons of the first folder 2 are moved to the first folder display window in response to the click input. All application icons of folder 2 refer to all application icons included in the second desktop folder.
