Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
With the rapid development of communication technology, the application range of terminal devices such as mobile phones and the like is more and more extensive, and the requirements on display screens are also more and more increased. The increase of the display screen brings better visual experience, but has the problem of inconvenient carrying.
On the other hand, wearable smart terminals such as smart bands and watches have been developed rapidly in recent years, but are limited by the problems of small screen, poor cruising ability and the like, and the wearable smart terminals have fewer functions and limited application range. Therefore, the bendable intelligent terminal can be produced.
In recent years, with the popularization of an OLED Display (organic light emitting semiconductor), Display terminals of a foldable and bendable flexible screen have been enriched. And more terminal devices such as mobile phones and the like applying the display terminal are provided.
In some technologies, the display surface of the flexible screen is bent outward, for example, by using a hinge design, but this results in a large thickness of the flexible screen at the bending position.
In other technologies, the display surface of the flexible screen is bent inward, and due to the fact that the bending radius is too small, the flexible screen is bent for multiple times, creases appear, and poor display such as black screen is prone to appearing. And in order to meet the requirement of the overall size of the screen, the overall size of the display terminal still cannot be shrunk to a very small range, and the carrying is inconvenient.
To the technical problem, the present disclosure provides a support device for a flexible display screen, which enables the display screen to be suitable for various use scenes. Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram illustrating a supporting apparatus of a flexible display screen according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 1, the supporting apparatus of the flexible display screen of the present disclosure includes: the first support member 101, an upper side of the first support member 101 supports a backside of the first region 201 of the display screen 200.
In the disclosed embodiment, the support device of the flexible display screen further comprises a second support member 102 for supporting the back side of the second area 202 of the display screen 200. The display panel 200 passes over the second support member 102 and bypasses the support end of the second support member 102, so that the first end 211 of the display panel 200 is slidably coupled to the lower side of the second support member 102. The supporting end of the second supporting member 102 is a side end 122 of the second supporting member 102 far from the first supporting member 101.
In this embodiment, the second support member 102 may be disposed side by side with the first support member 101 in the display screen 200 deployment direction, together supporting the back side of the display screen 200. It should be noted that the division of the first area 201, the second area 202, and the like of the display screen 200 in the present disclosure is only for explaining the positional relationship. In a practical structure, the display screen 200 may be a complete display panel, or may be a plurality of display panels, and the disclosure is not particularly limited.
In this embodiment, the side end 122 of the second support member 102, which is away from the first support member 101, serves as a support end to support the display screen 200, so that the display screen 200 can bypass the side end 122 and then be attached to the lower side of the second support member 102.
In this embodiment, the side end 122 opposite to the back surface of the display panel 200 may be curved, so as to provide a smooth supporting surface for the display panel 200 to be bent during the supporting process of the display panel 200. Considering that the flexible screen can not be directly folded although having a certain flexibility, and still needs to be bent at a certain angle, the bending angle of the arc surface and the flexible screen is more fit, and the flexible screen can provide more stable support for the display screen 200.
In some embodiments, the radius of the arc may be set to be suitable for the bending angle of the flexible screen, so that when the supporting effect on the flexible screen is satisfied, the flexible screen can be bent to the maximum extent without damaging the performance of the display screen, and the bending performance of the flexible screen is better exerted.
In the disclosed embodiment, the second support part 102 may be relatively close to or far from the first support part 101 in the unfolding direction of the display screen 200. When the second supporting member 102 is far away from the first supporting member 101, the first end 211 of the display screen 200 is close to the supporting end of the second supporting member 102, and the second region 202 of the display screen 200 is spread out on the upper side of the second supporting member 102.
In the present embodiment, the first and second support parts 101 and 102 are disposed side by side and may be close to or distant from each other so that the display screen 200 may be contracted or expanded. That is, when the second supporting member 102 is far away from the first supporting member 101, the display panel 200 receives the acting force of the side end 122 of the second supporting member 102 on the back of the display panel 200, and then the first end 211 of the display panel 200, which is fixed to the lower side of the first supporting member 101 in a sliding manner, is driven to start sliding towards the side end 122, i.e., the supporting end, of the second supporting member 102. This arrangement increases the display area of the display screen 200 on the first and second support members 101 and 102, and decreases the display area on the lower side of the second support member 102.
In general, in the flexible display panel, a use surface in a bent state is a front surface display panel, and a surface opposite to the front surface display panel in a thickness direction of the display panel is a rear surface display panel. In the present disclosure, the upper side 121 of the first and second support members 101 and 102 is a front display surface, and the lower side of the second support member 102 is a rear display surface.
In the present disclosure, the first supporting part 101 and the second supporting part 102 are far away from each other, and when the display screen 200 is subjected to an acting force applied to the back of the display screen 200 by the side end 122 of the second supporting part 102, and then the first end 211, which is fixed to the lower side of the first supporting part 101 in a sliding manner, of the display screen 200 is driven to start to slide towards the side end 122, i.e. the supporting end, of the second supporting part 102, the front display area of the display screen 200 is larger and larger, and the display screen is in an expanded state.
In the present disclosure, the first support member 101 and the second support member 102 approach each other, and the force of the side end 122 of the second support member 102 applied to the display screen 200 disappears. Since the display panel 200 has a flexible structure, when the force is removed, the display panel 200 is attached to the side end 122, and the first end 211 of the display panel 200, which is fixed to the lower side of the first supporting member 101 in a sliding manner, starts to slide in the direction of the first supporting member 101. At this time, the front display area of the display screen 200 is smaller and smaller, and the back display area is larger and larger, which shows the bending state of the display screen.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first region 201 of the display screen 200 may be fixed to the first supporting member 101, for example, the first region 201 of the display screen 200 may be attached to the upper side of the first supporting member 101. Specifically, the first region 201 of the display screen 200 may be adhered to the upper side surface of the first supporting member 101 by a material such as an adhesive or a double-sided tape.
According to the display screen, the first supporting component and the second supporting component are arranged to be relatively far away or relatively close to each other, the display screen passes through the upper side of the second supporting component and bypasses the supporting end of the second supporting component, and then is connected to the lower side of the second supporting component in a sliding mode, so that the display screen can be in a bent state. When the second supporting part is far away from the first supporting part, one end of the display screen, which is in sliding connection with the second supporting part, can slide to the supporting end of the second supporting part, namely the area of the display screen, which is positioned below the second supporting part, is smaller and smaller, and the area, which is positioned above the second supporting part, is larger and larger, so that the display screen is in an unfolded state. The arrangement of the present disclosure enables the display screen to be bent at a suitable angle and slidably changed between a bent state and an unfolded state, and a user can adjust the use state of the display screen and the bent and unfolded areas of the display screen as needed. The display screen is guaranteed to be bendable, damage to the display screen due to bending is avoided, quality of the display screen is improved, and using scenes of the display screen are increased.
In the present disclosure, the first supporting part 101 and the second supporting part 102 may be close to or far from each other, and may be manually set by a user, or may be driven by a driving device inside the display screen. Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram illustrating a supporting apparatus for a flexible display screen according to another exemplary embodiment, and in the embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, the supporting apparatus may further include a driving member 500, and the driving member 500 is configured to provide a force to move the second supporting member 102 relatively closer to or away from the first supporting member 101 in the unfolding direction of the display screen 200.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the driving member 500 contracts, a pulling action is generated on the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102, so that the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102 approach each other, and the display screen 200 assumes a bent state.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the driving part 500 may be an electric driving part, and the required power may be supplied through a power source of the terminal. The driving member 500 may be a telescopic device, and is disposed between the first support member 101 and the second support member 102, and applies a force to the first support member 101 and the second support member 102.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the driving member 500 may be any one of a piston, a rack and pinion, a crank block, a cam block, and the like, as long as the purpose of applying a force to the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102 to relatively approach or relatively move the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102 is achieved.
Fig. 3 is a structural diagram illustrating an unfolded state of a flexible display according to another exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, when the driving member 500 is extended, a force is applied to the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102 so that the first supporting member 101 and the second supporting member 102 are moved away from each other, and the display 200 assumes the unfolded state.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first supporting part 101 may be a whole, or a plurality of supporting parts may jointly provide a supporting function for the display screen 200. Similarly, the second supporting member 102 may be a whole or a plurality of supporting members may jointly provide a supporting function for the display screen 200.
For example, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, the second support member 102 may include a support body 123, an arc support 124. The supporting body 123 is disposed side by side with the first supporting member 101, and an upper side of the supporting body 123 is flush with an upper side of the first supporting member 101. The arc-shaped supporting member 124 is disposed at the supporting end of the second supporting member 102 and connected to the side end of the supporting body 123.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the upper side of the support body 123 is flush with the upper side of the first support member 101, i.e., the upper side of the support body 123 and the upper side of the first support member 101 are located on the same horizontal plane. Such setting can provide the supporting role to display screen 200 on same horizontal plane for the positive display surface of flexible screen is a smooth plane, ensures the display effect.
In the disclosed embodiment, the upper and lower sides of the support body 123 may be tangent to the arc-shaped curved surface of the arc-shaped support 124. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the arc-shaped supporting member 124 may be a smooth arc surface fixed to the side end of the supporting body 123. The back side of the second region 202 of the display screen 200 may slide along a smooth arc. The arc-shaped supporters 124 are fixed to the side ends of the support body 123, even though the arc-shaped supporters 124 serve as the side ends 122 of the second support part 102, for providing a supporting function to the display screen 200 at the side. So that the display panel 200 can be connected to the lower side of the second supporting member 102 from the upper side 121 of the second supporting member 102 by the supporting force of the arc-shaped supporting member 124 bypassing the side end 122, and finally the display panel 200 is in the bent state.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the arc-shaped support 124 may be a roller or a gear rotatably connected to a side end of the support body through a rotating shaft, and allows the second region 202 of the display screen 200 to be linked with the roller or the gear. As shown in fig. 3, in some embodiments, the arcuate supports 124 may be gears. The gear-shaped arc-shaped supporting member 124 increases the friction force with the back surface of the display 200, which is beneficial to provide a more stable supporting effect for the display 200 when the display 200 is in a static state, so as to maintain the structure of the display 200 in this state.
In the disclosed embodiment, the arc-shaped support 124 may also be configured to be connected to the driving member 500, for example, may be connected to the driving member 500 through a rotating shaft. After the driving part 500 is started, acting force is generated on the arc-shaped supporting piece 124 or acting force is generated on the rotating shaft, so that the arc-shaped supporting piece 124 is driven to rotate, and the arc-shaped supporting piece 124 can drive the display screen 200 to slide by using friction force with the back of the display screen 200 while rotating.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the back side of at least the second area 202 of the display screen 200 is provided with a supporting layer 600, and the supporting layer 600 is cooperatively connected with a roller or a gear. Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram illustrating a supporting layer according to another exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, a supporting layer 600 may be attached to the back side of the display screen 200, and the supporting layer 600 may be a rigid structure, such as a stainless steel material.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the support layer 600 can provide a supporting effect for the display screen 200, particularly for the area of the display screen 200 at the side end 122 of the second support member 102, i.e., for the bending position of the display screen 200.
As mentioned previously, flexible screens have not been able to fold directly, but rather are bent at an angle. The support layer 600 with the rigid structure is utilized at the bending part of the flexible screen, so that a better support effect can be provided for the bending part of the display screen 200, and further, the damage caused by insufficient support force or insufficient support area in the unfolding or shrinking activities and the like of the display screen 200 is avoided.
In the disclosed embodiment, the surface of the support layer 600 opposite to the arc-shaped support 124 may be indented or etched to engage with the gear-shaped arc-shaped support 124. Such setting can further increase the frictional force between supporting layer 600 and arc support piece 124, helps stabilizing arc support piece 124's slew velocity, is convenient for reach the display screen 200 and expand or the effect of buckling at the uniform velocity, brings better use experience for the user.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the second support part 102 may further include a sliding mechanism 300, and the sliding mechanism 300 is slidably disposed at the lower side of the support main body 123 and fixedly connected to the second end of the display screen 200.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display screen 200 has a first end and a second end that are oppositely disposed in the unfolding direction of the display screen 200. The first end and the second end of the display screen 200 are two positions of the display screen 200, respectively, and do not represent a specific orientation. In some embodiments, the second end 212 of the display screen 200 may be fixedly coupled to the first support member 101.
It should be noted that the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram illustrating a supporting apparatus of a flexible display screen according to an exemplary embodiment, and as shown in fig. 5, the second end 212 of the display screen 200 may also be configured to be fixedly connected to the second sliding mechanism 302, that is, the second end 212 of the display screen 200 may change position along with the sliding of the second sliding mechanism 302.
As shown in fig. 3, in the embodiment of the disclosure, a first limiting member 126 and a second limiting member 125 are disposed on a lower side of the second supporting member 102, and the sliding mechanism 300 slides between the first limiting member 126 and the second limiting member 125. The first position-limiting member 126 is closer to the supporting end of the second supporting member 102 than the second position-limiting member 125.
When the first supporting member 101 is far away from the second supporting member 102 and the sliding mechanism 300 abuts against the first limiting member 126, the second region 202 of the display panel 200 has the largest unfolding area, i.e., the front display area of the display panel 200 is the largest, and the display panel is in the unfolded state.
When the first supporting member 101 is close to the second supporting member 102 and the sliding mechanism 300 abuts against the second limiting member 125, the second region 202 of the display panel 200 has the smallest expansion area, that is, the front display area of the display panel 200 is the smallest and the corresponding back display area of the display panel 200 is the largest. The display screen 200 is in a bent state.
It should be noted that the front display area of the display panel 200 in the unfolded state and the folded state in the present disclosure is not fixed, that is, the display panel 200 may be arbitrarily stopped in any state during the moving process or the state transition process. For example, the damping may be provided on the driving member 500 so that the display panel 200 can be fixed in a state of any front display area. Such an arrangement may allow the user to freely select the front display area of the display screen to accommodate different usage scenarios.
For example, when the user operates with one hand, the display screen 200 may be contracted to reduce the front display area of the display screen 200. When the user operates with both hands, the display screen 200 can be unfolded, and the front display area of the display screen 200 is increased. The flexible use of the modes can improve the competitiveness of the product.
In the above embodiment, the sliding mechanism 300 slides between the first limiting member 126 and the second limiting member 125, so that the display screen 200 changes between the unfolded state and the folded state. The distance between the first limiting member 126 and the second limiting member 125 defines the maximum area of the display panel 200 that can be unfolded, i.e. the minimum area of the display panel 200 that can be bent.
In actual production, the distance between the first limiting member 126 and the second limiting member 125 can be specifically set according to requirements. Also, the disclosure is not limited thereto, and in some embodiments, the first limiting member 126 and the second limiting member 125 may also be disposed at the lower side of the first supporting member 101. Alternatively, the first stopper 126 is disposed below the second support member 102, and the second stopper 125 is disposed below the first support member 101.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the supporting device may further include a protective shell 400, one end of the protective shell 400 is fixed to the lower side of the second supporting member 102, and extends around the supporting end of the second supporting member 102 to cover all or part of the second area 202 of the display screen 200.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, one end of the protective shell 400 may be fixed to the second limiting member 125, extend from the second limiting member 125, and surround the supporting end of the second supporting member 102. The extended area of the protective case 400 of the present disclosure may be specifically set according to the display requirements of different display screens, and the present disclosure is not particularly limited.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the protective casing 400 covers the display screen 200, that is, a space is provided between the protective casing 400 and the display screen 200, and the front display surface of the display screen 200 located in the space does not directly contact with the outside. Such an arrangement may protect a portion of the display screen 200 located in the protective case 400 from external force.
Generally, the bending portion of the flexible display screen is easily damaged, and the display screen 200 is prevented from being damaged by external force due to the arrangement of the protective shell 400 because the display screen 200 shakes to a certain extent or collides with other objects in the using process. Meanwhile, the protective case 400 is provided to facilitate a user to hold the display screen during use.
It should be noted that the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and the first end 211 and the second end 212 of the display 200 may also be configured to be both bendable. As shown in fig. 5, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the supporting device of the flexible display screen may further include a third supporting part 103.
In the present disclosure, the third support member 103 serves to support the back side of the third area of the display screen. The display panel 200 passes over the third support member 103 and bypasses the support end of the third support member 103, so that the first end of the display panel 200 is slidably connected to the lower side of the third support member 103, and the support end of the third support member 103 is the side end of the third support member 103 away from the first support member 101.
The third supporting part 103 can be relatively close to or far from the first supporting part 101 in the unfolding direction of the display screen 200, when the third supporting part 103 is far from the first supporting part 101, the first end of the display screen 200 is close to the supporting end of the third supporting part 103, and the third area of the display screen 200 is unfolded at the upper side of the third supporting part 103.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the specific arrangement and structure of the third support member 103 may adopt the same or similar arrangement as the aforementioned second support member 102. Accordingly, the connection between the third support member 103 and the display screen 200 may adopt a similar or identical connection arrangement as that between the second support member 102 and the display screen 200, as described above.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display screen 200 can be bent or rolled to two ends, so as to increase the display area of the back side of the display screen 200, further reduce the display area of the front side of the display screen 200, and facilitate storage. Accordingly, it is also possible to provide a larger display area of the display panel 200 within the same housing area.
The arrangement can meet the pursuit of users for larger display screens, and can also improve the portability of the display screens.
Based on the same conception, the embodiment of the present disclosure further provides a terminal device, where the terminal device includes the supporting apparatus of the flexible display screen as in any one of the foregoing embodiments. The terminal device can be a mobile phone, a tablet, a portable notebook computer and other portable electronic devices, and can also be a wearable electronic device such as an intelligent bracelet.
