本申请提供了一种图像动态范围处理方法和装置,其中,方法包括:获取第一三次样条曲线相关的第一插值点的第一坐标值和第三插值点的第一坐标值;根据待处理图像的第一亮度区间的直方图信息,确定第一三次样条曲线相关的第二插值点的第一坐标值,第一亮度区间为第一插值点的第一坐标值和第三插值点的第一坐标值之间的区间,第一插值点的第一坐标值、第二插值点的第一坐标值以及第三插值点的第一坐标值用于确定第一三次样条曲线的函数,第一三次样条曲线的函数用于将待处理图像中亮度值位于第一亮度区间内的像素的亮度值映射为第一目标亮度值,从而修正待处理图像的动态范围。本申请提升了图像的显示效果。
