The two jaws of the hair straightener can be moved from an open position, in which the two jaws are spaced apart from each other, to a closed position, in which the two jaws are at least partially in contact with each other. The hinge is usually arranged at the rear end of the hair straightener. The hinge couples the two jaws to one another to allow a user to rotate at least one of the jaws about the hinge axis between open and closed positions.

Curling irons typically include heated cylindrical curling iron tips about which a bundle of hair may be wound to produce curls. These hair curlers may include a handle and have a form similar to a hair straightener for manually curling hair in a bundle, or the user may be provided with a set of multiple hair curling elements which are secured directly to the user's head by clips, with the hair being wound around the hair curling elements.

Most known prior art hair styling devices are special devices, in particular dedicated to straightening, curling or volumizing. Thus, the user has to have a plurality of different hair styling devices, one for each dedicated hair care device. This is of course not only expensive, but also takes up a lot of space, for example in a private bathroom.

GB1519930 describes a portable electric hair cutting appliance which can be used as (a) a curling or wave-forming appliance or (b) if necessary, to straighten hair by causing curling or wave energy to be removed. The appliance comprises two heater units, each having one surface provided with corrugations and an opposite smooth surface, meaning provided to bring two corrugated surfaces or two smooth surfaces into contact. The corrugations of the two surfaces match each other. The heater unit is changed from one position to another by manually pivoting it through 180 °.

US6627852B1 discloses a curling iron with a rotatable and asymmetrical heating tip. The curling iron allows curling and straightening of hair with one and the same device. That is, a two-in-one solution is provided. By rotating one of the asymmetric heating tips longitudinally along the length of the handle about an axis of rotation, the user can change the device setting from a curling mode to a straightening mode, and vice versa. The user can thus easily alternate between straightening hair and curling hair, while still using the same device.

However, there is still room for improvement. Even though the above-described device known from US6627852B1 allows curling and straightening of hair using the same device, such a device does not allow other ways of styling hair to be applied, for example for volumizing hair.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention mainly solves the technical problem of providing a hair care device which is used for straightening, curling and volumizing hair. Increased fullness at the root of the hair, as well as good straightening and curling properties, can be achieved using only one device without any additional accessories. The hair care device provides a three-in-one solution. It allows straightening, curling and volumizing hair using one and the same device. The user only has to modify the settings between the straightening mode, the curling mode or the volumizing mode in a slightly mechanically easy way.

In order to solve the above technical problem, one technical solution adopted by the present invention is to provide a hair care device for straightening, curling and/or volumizing hair. The hair care device comprises first comb teeth arranged on the outer ring and arranged close to each other, and a plurality of second comb teeth arranged in parallel and arranged close to each other and arranged inside the outer ring. The second comb teeth 102 are rotatable. One technical solution adopted by the present invention is to provide a hair care device for straightening, curling and volumizing hair. Increased fullness at the root of the hair, as well as good straightening and curling properties, can be achieved using only one device without any additional accessories. The hair care device provides a three-in-one solution. It allows straightening, curling and volumizing hair using one and the same device. The user only has to modify the settings between the straightening mode, the curling mode or the volumizing mode in a slightly mechanically easy way.

While the invention has been described above with reference to certain embodiments, various modifications may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the various features of the various embodiments of the present disclosure may be used in any combination, provided that there is no structural conflict, and the combination is not exhaustively described in this specification for brevity and resource conservation. 6. A hair care device as set forth in claim 1 in which the second comb teeth are tapered with threads disposed thereon.

7. A hair care device as set forth in claim 1 in which the second comb teeth comprise a heat resistant synthetic material.

8. A hair care device as set forth in claim 1 further comprising a handle portion disposed below or on the back of said first comb teeth extending along said first comb teeth.

9. A hair care device as set forth in claim 1 in which the second comb teeth are rotatable.
