Description

Sand blasting tooth cleaning system and method
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of oral medical equipment, in particular to a sand blasting tooth cleaning system and a sand blasting tooth cleaning method.
Background
At present, the clinical tooth cleaning modes mainly comprise hand scraping, ultrasonic tooth cleaning and sand blasting tooth cleaning, and mainly remove tartar, dental plaque, tea scale, smoke scale and the like attached to the surfaces of teeth.
The principle of sand blasting tooth cleaning is that high-speed flowing gas is used for driving tooth cleaning powder to form particle flow, the particle flow is acted on the tooth surface through a fine nozzle, and the kinetic energy of the particle flow is utilized to remove tartar and bacterial plaque on the tooth surface.
Sand blasting clean tooth equipment generally comprises the dental chair, host computer and sandblast handle, the dental chair passes through air waterline and outside air supply or water source intercommunication, the sandblast handle is handheld terminal equipment, be equipped with air passage and waterway, air passage and waterway pass through air passage system respectively, waterway system is connected with the dental chair, under the effect of air pump, compressed air can drive clean tooth powder and form the particle stream, spout from the tiny nozzle of sandblast handle through the air passage and act on tooth surface and clean tooth.
However, there are a number of problems with current sandblasting dentifrice systems:
(1) for a dental scaler: in the working process, the tooth cleaning powder is easy to agglomerate due to the contact with water, so that the sand blasting handle is blocked, and the use is influenced; at present, the problem is solved by mainly cleaning or dredging the nozzle of the sand blasting handle after the blockage occurs, and because the diameter of the nozzle is very small (the pipe diameter is about 0.5-0.8mm), the cleaning or the dredging not only wastes time and energy but also has poor effect, so that the blockage problem can not be really solved.
(2) For the tooth cleaning process: during the treatment process, splashes of part of water, blood, solid impurities, sandblasting powder and the like can be generated, and even viral oral aerosol can be accompanied. These splashes can fly out of the patient's mouth, contaminating the surrounding environment, requiring cleaning by a doctor or staff after surgery; the current processing method for the problem is as follows: the periphery of the mouth of the patient is covered with a paper towel or a thin cloth with an opening, however, the method only can prevent the splash from adhering to the periphery of the mouth of the patient and cannot prevent the splash from entering the surrounding environment or falling onto the body of a doctor or a worker.
Therefore, there is a need for a new abrasive blasting dentifrice system that addresses the above problems.
