Description

Method, system and device for configuring one number with multiple terminals
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a one-number multi-terminal configuration method, a one-number multi-terminal configuration system and a one-number multi-terminal configuration device.
Background
An eSIM card (embedded SIM, embedded SIM card, or built-in chip subscriber identity module card) is a device chip in which a conventional SIM card is directly embedded, and is a part of the device, and is not separable. One or more profiles (user subscription parameter sets) may be stored on the integrated communication chip of the built-in eSIM card, and when a certain Profile is in an activated state, a user may access the network of its home operator using the Profile.
The development of the eSIM remote configuration technology promotes one-number multi-terminal service based on eSIM, breaks through the constraint that a mobile phone is used as a unique mobile communication carrier, effectively solves the requirements of vast users on all-time and ubiquitous communication, and provides a foundation for the development of multi-scene communication and intelligent application.
Currently, multiple IMSI binding modes are adopted by an eSIM number one and multiple terminals for binding the same MDN number. The multiple IMSIs are connected to the mobile network at the same time, which occupies a large amount of IMSI resources and network air interface resources of the operator, and needs to modify the core service flow.
In the existing eSIM terminals with multiple numbers, a plurality of IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) binding modes are adopted, where the IMSI binds to the same MDN (Mobile Directory Number), that is, the terminals configure different profiles. Resulting in multiple devices with different IMSIs connecting to the mobile network simultaneously, which occupies a significant amount of the operator air interface resources.

For clarity of explanation, the following terms are to be interpreted.
The IMSI is an identification code that is not repeated in all cellular networks to distinguish different users in the cellular networks. The handset sends the IMSI to the network in a 64-bit field. The IMSI may be used to query a Home Location Register (HLR) or Visitor Location Register (VLR) for subscriber information.
MDN is the personal cell phone number of a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) network user, and is also a phone number that is disclosed externally by a mobile user, similar to 8613313565789. MDN is commonly used for routing, number analysis, call management, subscription information binding, billing, etc.
The embodiment of the invention provides a one-number multi-terminal configuration system, and referring to fig. 1, the one-number multi-terminal configuration system of the embodiment of the invention comprises a first terminal, a second terminal and an eSIM management server.
The first terminal is used for initiating a one-number-multi-terminal opening request to the eSIM management server, wherein the one-number-multi-terminal opening request comprises a first identifier of the first terminal;
the eSIM management server is used for setting the Profile of the first terminal into a downloadable state according to the one-number multi-terminal opening request;
the first terminal is also used for sending a Profile downloading instruction to the first terminal;
the second terminal is used for initiating a Profile downloading request to the eSIM management server according to the Profile downloading instruction;
the eSIM management server is also used for sending the Profile of the first terminal to the second terminal according to the Profile downloading request;

In the service platform, the terminal identifier and the corresponding Profile are stored in an associated manner. The first terminal may be a user's primary device, such as a cell phone that is frequently used by the user, and the second terminal may be a user's sports watch, a back-up cell phone, etc. The method comprises the steps that a first terminal initiates a first multi-terminal opening request to a service platform, after the service platform receives the first multi-terminal opening request, the Profile of the first terminal is determined according to a first identifier in the first multi-terminal opening request, the corresponding Profile in an eSIM remote configuration platform is set to be in a downloadable state, and a service opening message including a first authorization identifier is returned to the first terminal. And the first terminal generates a Profile downloading instruction according to the first authorization identifier and sends the Profile downloading instruction to the second terminal. And the second terminal initiates a Profile downloading request comprising a second identifier for identifying the second terminal and a second authorization identifier to the eSIM remote configuration platform according to the Profile downloading instruction. And matching the second authorization identifier with the first authorization identifier through the eSIM remote configuration, recording the second identifier and binding the second identifier with the Profile of the first terminal after the identity of the second terminal is determined to be legal, and sending the Profile of the first terminal to the second terminal. And after receiving the Profile, the second terminal respectively returns a downloading success message to the first terminal and the eSIM remote configuration platform. And after receiving the download success message, the first terminal deactivates the Profile of the first terminal and then sends a communication capacity switching-out instruction to the second terminal. And after receiving the communication capability switching-out instruction, the second terminal activates the downloaded Profile of the second terminal and then returns an activation success message to the first terminal, so that the first terminal and the second terminal share one paging number, the profiles of the first terminal and the second terminal are not activated at the same time, and the network resources occupied by one number of multiple terminals are reduced.
In a further embodiment, referring to fig. 1, when the user needs to switch the communication capability back to the first terminal, a number one multi-terminal shutdown request including the first identifier may be initiated to the service platform. And after receiving the one-number multiple closing requests, the service platform sets the corresponding Profile on the eSIM remote configuration platform with an un-downloadable state. And then the eSIM remote configuration platform determines the second terminal according to the binding relationship between the Profile of the first terminal and the second identifier, and sends a Profile deletion instruction to the second terminal. And after receiving the Profile deletion instruction, the second terminal deletes the Profile in the second terminal and returns a Profile deletion success message to the eSIM remote configuration platform. And the eSIM remote configuration platform deletes the stored second identification and informs the service platform. And the service platform returns a service closing message to the first terminal.
In the embodiment, the eSIM management server is divided into the eSIM remote configuration platform and the service platform, and the interactive flow between the second terminal and the eSIM management server in the one-number-multi-terminal configuration process is transferred to the eSIM remote configuration platform, so that the one-number-multi-terminal configuration can be realized without carrying out large-scale improvement on the original service platform, and the improvement pressure of an operator on the service flow is reduced.
