Background
At present, aluminum alloy sections with large-size (more than 100 diagonal lines) and thin walls (less than 2mm wall thickness) are quenched by extruding the aluminum alloy sections on line in a strong air cooling or water cooling mode at an outlet of an extruder, but for some aluminum alloys with high performance requirements, the on-line quenching cannot meet the performance requirements and needs off-line quenching. And (3) off-line quenching, namely heating the material to a certain temperature, preserving heat for a period of time, and then rapidly cooling to achieve the aim of quenching. For large-size thin-wall materials, rapid cooling can lead to material deformation, and tolerance requirements are difficult to meet, so that the invention is urgently needed to provide a clamping device and a quenching method for quenching large-size thin-wall workpieces.

s2, the clamping arm rapidly moves a workpiece arranged on the outer side of the profiling block into a quenching tank, and water spray quenching is carried out on the workpiece;
s3, after quenching is finished, the flatness deformation of the workpiece is 0.2-0.5%, and the perpendicularity deformation is 0.1-0.2%;
s4, when different workpieces are produced, the clamping device matched with the workpieces can be replaced.
The clamping device has the beneficial effects that the visual grabbing device is arranged on the clamping device, so that clamping is more accurate; the output end of the cylinder pushes the profiling block to stretch out or shrink through the push rod, and the elastic body arranged in the profiling block grabs and tightens the workpiece, so that labor cost and material waste are reduced, and meanwhile production efficiency is improved.
