Abstract
The invention discloses a GPS-based vehicle positioning system, which comprises a data acquisition unit, a data comparison unit, a data calibration unit and a data storage unit, wherein the data acquisition unit is used for acquiring road, running speed and time data of a target vehicle, road, running speed and time data of a passing vehicle and position and passing time data of a fixed reference object, the data comparison unit is used for positioning an initial target position of the target vehicle by comparing the data of the target vehicle and the passing vehicle acquired by the data acquisition unit, and the data calibration unit is used for calibrating according to the initial target position of the target vehicle and the position and the passing time data of the fixed reference object acquired by the data acquisition unit to position a final target position of the target vehicle. The invention also provides a vehicle positioning method based on the GPS. Compared with the related art, the vehicle positioning system and method based on the GPS are more accurate in positioning.
Description
Technical Field

Background
At present, with the maturity of the GPS technology, the vehicle is more and more accurately positioned.
