本申请实施例公开了一种资源获取方法、装置以及电子设备。所述方法包括：响应于资源下载请求，所述第一应用分发平台获取待下载的目标资源的信息；根据所述信息，检测所述第二应用分发平台是否已经下载有所述目标资源；若所述第二应用分发平台未下载有所述目标资源，从目标资源节点下载所述目标资源。通过检测第二应用分发平台是否有目标资源，如果没有就通过目标资源节点下载目标资源，通过这种方式使得电子设备中可以加载同一目标资源的多个应用平台不会对同一资源进行重复下载，进而减少了内容分发网络流量开销和用户流量开销，减少了对电子设备存储空间的占用。
