Description

Multifunctional equipment
Technical Field
The invention relates to multifunctional equipment, in particular to a vertical-sitting type trolley.
Background
Trolleys, in particular luggage trolleys, are known from the prior art, which have a height-telescopically adjustable handle, an integrated luggage compartment and at least two roller elements arranged on the underside of the luggage trolley. Furthermore, it is known from the prior art to use luggage trolleys, on which bags, luggage bins or backpacks can be inserted or otherwise fixed. Furthermore, pack baskets are also known from the prior art, which are used in a backpack-like fashion for transporting luggage on the back of a user.
All these known devices are each limited to a single function, such as rolling a luggage item to transport luggage or carrying a corresponding piece of luggage on the back by means of a pack basket. In these devices, it is disadvantageous that only one function, for example a rolling luggage compartment, can be implemented in each case.
Disclosure of Invention
It is an object of the invention to provide a multifunction device which combines the functions of a plurality of devices known from the prior art and achieves a synergistic effect here.
This object is achieved by a multifunction device according to the invention. Further advantages and embodiments of the invention emerge from the following.
According to the present invention, a multifunction apparatus includes a first support region, a second support region, and a holding unit, wherein the holding unit extends substantially along a holding plane, wherein the first and second support regions are unfolded, in particular extend transversely to the holding plane, wherein the first support region is fixed to the holding unit in the region of the first end of the holding unit, wherein the second support region is fixed on the second holding unit in the region of the second end of the holding unit, wherein the holding unit and the support region enclose or delimit a transport space for at least partially accommodating the transport unit in at least three spatial directions, wherein the first support region has a seat surface and/or a storage surface on its side facing away from the second support region, and wherein the second support area has at least one support surface on its side facing the first support area, said support surface being used for placing and supporting the multifunctional device on a floor.
The multifunction device thus basically has three regions: a holding unit that extends substantially in a vertical direction if the multifunction apparatus is erected upright on the ground. The holding unit is preferably substantially flat and extends along a holding plane. Extending substantially along the holding plane means in this context that the holding unit also extends to a small extent transversely to the holding plane, but mainly along or parallel to the holding plane. The preferred rectangular basic shape of the holding unit has a significantly greater extent in the direction lying in the holding plane than transversely to the holding plane. Furthermore, a first and a second support region are provided, wherein the first support region is arranged at a first distal end of the holding unit, preferably at the upper side thereof, and the second support region is fixed or preferably formed at a second distal end of the holding unit, preferably at the lower side thereof. The support region together with the holding unit encloses the transport space in at least three spatial directions, i.e. upwards, downwards and towards at least one side. The transport space is preferably provided here for the arrangement of a transport unit, such as a luggage case, a backpack or a bag, there and for placing or fixing on the multifunctional device. Furthermore, the support region has a seat surface and/or a storage surface on its upper side, i.e. on the side facing away from the second support region. In a state where the multifunction apparatus is upright on the ground, the seat surface and/or the storage surface preferably extend horizontally so that a user can sit on the seat surface or store an object on the storage surface. Thus, the multifunction apparatus combines the functions of the seat apparatus or the storage apparatus with the functions of the transportation apparatus. For the preferred case in which the multifunction device can be transported in a simple manner on the back or by means of integrated rollers, the user can thus have the following possibilities: on the one hand, luggage is transported and on the other hand, the carried multifunctional device is used as a seat or storage platform. This achieves a novel synergistic effect and increases the flexibility and mobility of the user of the multifunction device, since a sitable and/or storable place, for example for a notebook computer, is provided at any time and at any place, and for this reason no additional devices have to be carried apart from the multifunction device which is intended to be carried around in any case and which functions as a transport device. Furthermore, the multifunctional device can also be used as a bar stool, which is preferred by the adjustable seat height. Furthermore, the multifunction device is suitable for use as a standing aid, wherein the user can hold and support a handle, which is advantageously arranged in the region of the seat surface and/or the storage surface.
Furthermore, the second support region has on its underside, i.e. on the side facing away from the transport space and the first support region, a support surface which is provided for bearing on the ground and which can be supported on the ground in such a way that the multifunctional device is prevented from tipping over. Preferably, in order to be able to better compensate for unevennesses in the ground, the second support area has a plurality of support surfaces which are formed on projections which project from the underside of the second support area. In this way, it is possible to distribute the supporting load to the plurality of partial protrusions to prevent the multifunction apparatus from falling over on an uneven ground.
Preferably, the holding unit has a first holding element and a second holding element, wherein the first holding element and the second holding element are movable parallel to the holding plane, preferably in a guide direction, relative to each other, wherein a holding locking device is provided, which is engageable with the first holding element and the second holding element in order to prevent the first holding element and the second holding element from moving relative to each other. The holding unit is therefore preferably constructed from two components, wherein a first holding element and a second holding element are defined. The holding elements are preferably movable relative to one another along the guide direction and are locked against movement relative to one another in all directions transverse to the guide direction. In this way, the length of the holding unit can be increased or decreased by pushing one of the holding elements in or out relative to the other holding element. A holding and locking device is advantageously provided which operates at least one engaging element via a mechanism known from the prior art, which positively locks the first and second holding elements against movement relative to one another. Such a holding and locking device is for example a luggage trolley known from the prior art. Here, an operating mechanism is provided on the handle of the luggage trolley, which operating mechanism operates, via a bowden cable or a link, an engaging element in the form of a button-like projection, which in turn can engage in a form-fitting manner with a recess at the telescopically movable part of the handle, in order to lock the handle of the luggage trolley in a specific height. Preferably, the number of engaging elements and their effective cross-section are increased such that a sufficiently large force can be absorbed along the guiding direction in order to support the weight of a user sitting on the multifunctional device. Particularly preferably, at least two engagement elements, particularly preferably at least four engagement elements, are provided on the holding and locking device.
Furthermore, it is preferred that the first support region is fastened to the first holding element or is formed in one piece, and the second support region is fastened to the second holding element or is formed in one piece. To simplify the design, it is proposed: the at least one holding element in the first embodiment comprises a support region in one piece, wherein particularly high strength values can be achieved. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the holding element can be designed as a formed metal component, wherein a region of the holding element extending along the holding plane is associated with the holding unit and a chamfered region of the holding element extending transversely to the holding plane serves as a support region. In this embodiment, further components, such as pads or rubber bearing elements, can also be formed on the respective support regions. Alternatively, it is preferred that the support regions can be fastened as separate components to the respective holding elements in order to reduce the component size of the individual components and simplify their production.
Preferably, the first holding element has at least one guide strut which is guided displaceably in a guide direction in at least one guide receptacle formed on the second holding element. Advantageously, the first holding element, which is preferably arranged on the upper side of the multifunction device and also surrounds or fixes the seat surface and/or the storage surface, has at least one guide strut. In a first preferred embodiment, a central guide strut can be provided, which can be pushed into a corresponding guide receptacle on the second holding element and can be moved telescopically in each case. In an alternative embodiment, two or more guide struts can be formed on the first holding element, which engage in a corresponding number of guide receptacles on the second holding element and can accordingly absorb the loads distributed over a plurality of engagement geometries there.
In a preferred embodiment, two guide struts are formed on the first holding element, which can be pushed in and out in each case telescopically in guide receptacles formed on the second holding element.
In a further preferred embodiment, the first holding element can be displaced relative to the second holding element by a maximum movement path, wherein the ratio of the movement path to the minimum extension of the multifunction device measured parallel to the guide direction is 0.4 to 0.9, preferably 0.5 to 0.85, particularly preferably 0.6 to 0.8. The movement path thus defines a path in which the first holding element can be maximally pulled out of the second holding element. In other words, the movement path thus defines a length by which the total length of the multifunction device can be increased from the smallest extension of the multifunction device in the state in which the first holding element and the second holding element are fully pushed into each other. It has been shown here that, in a ratio of 0.4 to 0.9 of the movement path, a correspondingly large range of seat heights provided, in terms of the smallest extension of the multifunction device, covers all body-sized users particularly advantageously. Furthermore, the transport space can be correspondingly increased by a large maximum travel path of 0.4 to 0.9, which also enables the arrangement and transport of large transport units. The smaller ratio of the movement path to the smallest extent of the multifunction device allows a higher stability of the holding unit, since a greater overlap of the regions of the holding elements which respectively engage with one another is possible. It goes without saying that between the first holding element and the second holding element there can be further guide elements which allow an increase of the movement path while the overlap length between the respective components which are telescopically movable towards one another is large. In this way, by using further components, a larger movement path can be achieved, but a more complex construction and increased weight must be tolerated. A preferred ratio of the movement path to the minimum extension of the multifunction device of 0.5 to 0.85 has proved to be an advantageous compromise between the small number of components and thus the simple and cost-effective construction and the variability of the seat height or the storage height at the first support region. In addition and particularly preferably, the smaller range of 0.6 to 0.8, in this case, optimal values have already been achieved, particularly for applications in which a high stability of the multifunctional device is important at the same time as a low weight.
Advantageously, the seat surface and/or the storage surface are formed on a upholstered counter element, which can be fixed or is fixed to the first support region. Advantageously, the first support region itself is not formed in one piece, but rather forms a counter element which is preferably provided with a cushion portion made of foam, which is fixed at the upper side of the counter element. In this case, the first support region can be formed integrally with the first holding element, in particular the carrier base of the first support region can be formed integrally with the first holding element, while the other components can be fixed to the carrier base. In the context of the present invention, the design described for the first support region in one piece with the holding element is also advantageously provided for the second support region and the second holding element. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that at least one recess is provided on the seat surface and/or the storage surface, said recess being used for accommodating a key or the like, for example.
Furthermore, the handle is preferably formed or fixed on or adjacent to the first support region.
In a first preferred embodiment, the handle is formed in one piece with the first support region and particularly preferably with the first holding element. A cylindrical geometry can be provided as a handle, and adjacent to the geometry, in each case, a recess for engagement with a hand of a user is provided. Preferably, the handle is located in a region in which an extension of the holding element parallel to the holding plane intersects an extension of the support region transverse to the holding plane. In this way, the handle can be particularly easily accessible to the user from the outside. The handle can also preferably have a partial recess, which is provided in particular for hanging the multifunctional device on a hook, wherein the receiving geometry is preferably arranged centrally on the handle.
Furthermore, preferably, at least one rolling element is formed or fixed on or adjacent to the second support region. The rollers known from the prior art, as are present in known luggage trolleys, are preferably used as rolling bodies. In a particularly preferred embodiment, at least two such rolling bodies are arranged and fixed on the second bearing region. Preferably, the second support region is designed such that, in a state in which the support surface of the second support region stands on the ground, the rolling bodies hardly contribute, or do not contribute at all, to the support of the multifunctional device relative to the ground. In this way, accidental tipping or rolling away of the multifunction device via the rolling elements can be prevented. In other words, a pivoting of the multifunction device about the axis of rotation of the rolling bodies is thus required in order to bring the multifunction device into the tilted position and to have it bear completely on the rolling bodies.
It is particularly preferred that the support surface provided on the second support area has a profile consisting of a single projecting elastic element, preferably a rubber block, which allows a lateral and vertical movement and oscillation of the multifunctional device. During the movement of the seat occupant, the spring element executes a micro-movement, which leads to a particularly advantageous pivoting of the seat surface. Preferably, particularly small movements, i.e. oscillations with low amplitudes, are possible in different directions. Overall, the support surface thus allows the multifunction device to be movable while being protected against tipping over. In this case, similarly to the foot of the seat in the utility model application DE 202016103557, a profile of the support surface is advantageously provided, to which reference is made.
Furthermore, the holding unit preferably has an ergonomic surface which extends substantially parallel to the holding plane, wherein the ergonomic surface has a plurality of recesses, which ergonomic surface is also considered herein as an ergonomic surface which extends substantially parallel to the holding plane and which has a profiling, i.e. an extension, perpendicular to the holding plane, in particular in order to allow a favorable adaptation to the physiology of the back of the user. The ergonomic surfaces are well ventilated by the large number of recesses. On the other hand, the ergonomic surface also enables the holding unit to rest particularly snugly and comfortably on the back of the user. Furthermore, the ergonomic surface preferably contributes to the transmission of the supporting load to the holding unit. The ergonomic surface is preferably made of an elastically deformable polyurethane plastic. Furthermore, the ergonomic surface can also have a rubber or textile component, which is arranged in particular on the side of the holding unit facing the user.
Furthermore, it is preferred that at least two fastening recesses for the passage of the carrying strap and/or at least one carrying strap is fastened to the holding unit. The presence of the fixing stays for passing through the carrying straps allows to pass through the fixing stays the carrying straps already present on the bag, suitcase or backpack so as not only to fix the respective backpack, bag or suitcase on the holding unit but also to be able to carry the multifunctional device together with the transport unit using the existing carrying straps of the transport unit. Alternatively or additionally, the holding unit preferably has its own carrying strap which allows the holding unit to be carried independently of the presence or absence of the transport unit. In this manner, the multifunction device can assume the function of transporting a pack basket.
Preferably, one of the holding unit and/or the support region has an outer cover, wherein the outer cover is made of plastic, preferably polyurethane. For the structure of the multifunction device, it is preferred here that there is a carrier core made of a stronger plastic or metal, wherein the outer cover is at least partially slipped over these carrier parts of the structure of the multifunction device. The cover is preferably made of a weather-resistant, elastically deformable and/or particularly attractive tactile plastic material. Especially preferably, a combination of textile material and plastic can be used.
In a preferred embodiment of the multifunction device, the maximum extension of one of the support regions transverse to the holding plane is 0.05 to 0.5 times, preferably 0.1 to 0.3 times, the maximum extension of the multifunction device parallel to the guide direction. In other words, the height of the multifunction device defined by the extension of the holding unit is several times greater than the depth of the multifunction device defined by the support area. This makes it possible to achieve an advantageous compromise between a corresponding ergonomic sitting position of the multifunction device at a height sufficient for the user and a corresponding saving in space and material and thus weight of the multifunction device, since the support region does not extend unnecessarily far transversely to the holding plane. At the lowest price of the multifunction device, a particularly compact, lightweight and low-cost model of the multifunction device can be created, which only allows a short rest with temporary sitting and which is mainly used as a transport device in other cases. A particularly wide and deep seat or storage surface on the first support region is possible when the extension of one of the support regions is at most 0.5 times the maximum extension of the functional device parallel to the guide direction, or a particularly stable erection of the functional device is possible by a particularly large-area support surface on the second support region.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, a multi-part transport unit is provided, wherein a first transport element of the transport unit is fastened to the holding unit and/or to the second support region, wherein the second transport element is formed integrally with or fastened to the first support region. In this embodiment, in particular, the multi-part transport unit is designed such that one part of the transport unit can be fastened to the lower half of the multifunction device and another part can be fastened to the upper half of the multifunction device. Thereby, the length of the transport unit can also be increased or, alternatively, the transport unit can be opened when the multifunctional device is removed by a movement of the first holding element relative to the second holding element. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the second transport element arranged at the top can be formed integrally with the support region, so that the functional integration between the transport unit and the first support region can be used to realize a particularly simple structure of the multifunctional device, which can be produced with a low number of components.

Detailed Description
The schematic diagram of fig. 1 shows a multifunction device 1 having a substantially C-shaped basic shape as seen from the side. On the holding unit 6, a first support region 2 is arranged and fixed on its upper or first end 63, and a second support region 4 is arranged and fixed on its lower or second end 64. The transport space T is formed between the support regions 2, 4 and is bounded to the right by the holding unit 6. The holding unit extends here substantially in or parallel to a holding plane E, wherein the support regions 2, 4 extend substantially transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the holding plane E. A seat surface and/or a storage surface 22 is formed on the upper side of the first support region 2. On the underside of the second support region 4, a support surface 42 is formed, on which the multifunction device 1 can be erected on a floor (not shown). Furthermore, the rolling elements 44 are shown in the region of the second end 64 of the retaining unit 6 and the second support region 4. It goes without saying in this context that one of the support regions 2, 4 can preferably have a smaller extension than the respective other support region 4, 2, which is not shown in fig. 1.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the multifunction device 1 in which the holding unit 6 has a first holding element 61 and a second holding element 62, wherein the holding elements 61, 62 are moved relative to each other to the greatest extent so that there is a greatest extension G of the multifunction device 1. In this state, the first holding element 61 has been moved relative to the second holding element 2 by the maximum movement path X. Furthermore, the first support region 2, which is fastened to the first holding element 61, preferably has a handle 26. An ergonomic surface 68 with a recess is preferably formed on the second holding element 62. Particularly preferably, the cutouts of the ergonomic surface form a honeycomb-like contour, which has proven to be a particularly ergonomic and ventilation-friendly surface geometry of the ergonomic surface 68. Furthermore, the holding unit 6 advantageously has a fixing recess 69 on the second holding element 62, through which in the present case at least two (not shown) carrying straps can be guided in order to fix the (not shown) transport unit on the multifunction device 1 on the one hand and to be able to carry the multifunction device 1 and the transport unit together on the other hand.
Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of the multifunction device 1 with the transport unit 10 fixed thereto, wherein the above-mentioned carrying strap 8 is guided through a respective fixing opening 69. Further shown are: the first holding element 61 has two guide struts 66 which can be pushed into corresponding guide receptacles 67 on the second holding element 62 parallel to the guide direction F and can be moved telescopically therein. The engagement between the guide strut 66 and the guide receptacle 67 here prevents a movement of the first holding element 61 relative to the second holding element 62 in all directions transverse to the guide direction F. Further shown are: the first support area 2 has a maximum extension Q transverse to the holding plane E which is several times smaller than the maximum extension G of the multifunction device 1 parallel to the guiding direction F. In the preferred embodiment shown in fig. 3, the maximum extension Q of the first support region 2 is equal to the maximum extension Q of the second support region 4.
Fig. 4 shows the embodiment of the multifunction device 1 with the transport unit 10 fixed thereto in fig. 3 in a state in which the multifunction device 1 has its maximum extension H parallel to the guide axis F. In this state, the guide strut 66 of the first holding element 61 is pushed completely into the guide receptacle 67 of the second holding element 62, and the overall extension of the multifunctional device, in particular the distance of the first support region 2 from the second support region 4, is minimal.
Fig. 5 shows a further preferred embodiment of the multifunction device 1 with the transport unit 10 fastened thereto, which is designed as a sports bag. As in the previously described embodiment, the holding unit 6 is formed by a first holding element 61 and a second holding element 62, wherein preferably the first support region 2 is formed in one piece with the first holding element 61. Advantageously, the second support region 4 is fixed to the second holding element 62. Furthermore, adjacent to the first support region 2, the handle 26 is fixed to the first holding element 61. In contrast to the previously described embodiments, the holding unit 6 has a groove 7 in addition to the holding elements 61, 62. The groove 7 serves in particular for stably supporting an inherently unstable movement bag, whereby even heavy objects can be transported together in the bag by means of the multifunctional device 1.
Fig. 6 shows the embodiment of the multifunction device 1 shown in fig. 5 as an exploded view. The structure of the holding unit 6 can be seen here, which is made of a first holding element 61 and a second holding element 62. In the exploded illustration, the first support region 2 is preferably formed in one piece with the first holding element 61, whereas the second support region 4 is fastened as a separate component to the second holding element 62. The second holding element 62 preferably has two guide receptacles 67 with a substantially rectangular cross section. The guide struts 66 of the first holding element 61, which are formed with a rectangular cross section in each case, can be pushed into the guide receptacles 67. Further shown are: two carrying straps 8 are fixed on the holding unit 6, which carrying straps thus are present on the multifunction device 1 independently of the transport unit 10. Furthermore, the seat surface and/or the storage surface 22 is preferably formed on a separate counter element 24, wherein the counter element 24 is preferably adhesively bonded to the upper side of the support region 2. Furthermore, the groove 7 preferably has an engagement region which engages with the holding unit 6 and which at the same time partially surrounds the transport unit 10 inserted into the groove element 7.
Fig. 7 shows a further preferred embodiment of the multifunction device 1 according to the invention, wherein a two-part transport unit 10 is fastened to the multifunction device. The transport unit 10 has as a lower section a first transport element 11, which is fixed to a lower section of the holding unit 6 or of the second holding element 62. Furthermore, the transport unit 10 has a second transport element 12, which preferably forms the first support region 2 and is fastened to the first holding element 61. As shown in the embodiment of fig. 2 and 3, the first holding element 61 has two guide struts 66, advantageously cylindrical, which can be pushed into guide receptacles 67 of the second holding element 62. In a first preferred embodiment, the transport unit 10 can have a woven and foldable area fixed between the first transport element 11 and the second transport element 12, whereby the transport volume of the transport unit 10 is increased by pulling out the first holding element 61 together with the second transport element 12. Alternatively, the second transport element 12, which is similar to a lid, can be moved upwards by pulling out the first holding element 61 so that the transport unit 10 can be opened.
Fig. 8 shows a further view of the embodiment shown in fig. 7 of the multifunction device 1 according to the invention with a two-part transport unit 10 fastened thereto.
Fig. 9 shows a view of the embodiment of fig. 7 and 8, in which the first holding element 61 has been completely moved into the second holding element 62, so that the first transport element 11 and the second transport element 12 therefore lie directly against one another. In this state, the transport unit 10 is therefore preferably closed and/or constructed with its smallest volume.
Fig. 10 shows a typical use situation of a preferred embodiment of the multifunction device 1 according to the invention. The right free standing multifunction device of the shown multifunction device 1 is ready to be used as a place where a user can sit, in particular as a stool. For this purpose, the first holding element 61 has been pulled out of the second holding element 62 by about half of the maximum displacement path X and is locked in this position by means of the holding lock. Thus, the user is provided with an optimal seat height for working in front of the illustrated desk. If the desk is raised as shown on the left side of the drawing and accordingly used as a bar or the user switches to bar work, the multifunction device 1 is designed to hang on a hook 8. For this purpose, the handle 26 is advantageously of wide design and particularly preferably extends over at least two thirds, advantageously at least three quarters and particularly preferably at least four fifths of the width of the multifunction device 1. By means of the wide design of the engagement region with the hook 8, the multifunctional device can be suspended particularly stably and compensate for unevenly distributed loads in the transport unit 10. Instead of using the handle 26 as an engagement area with the hook 8, it is preferred to provide one or additional engagement areas at other locations on the multifunction device 1. Thus, for example, two such joining areas can be provided in the region of the first and second support areas 2, 4, so that the multifunction device 1 is suspended between two tables placed side by side, wherein the transport space T is open upwards and provides an additional bearing area between the tables. The embodiment of the transport unit 10 shown in fig. 10 advantageously has a plurality of partial areas. In this way, the multifunction apparatus 1 with the transport unit 10 provided thereon can be used as a cabinet or rolling container connected to a table, particularly in a state of being suspended on the table.
