Description

Method, apparatus and medium for communication mode configuration of terminal device
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to network technology and security, and more particularly, to the field of mobile communications.
Background
China telecommunications is actively developing 5G SA laboratory tests and outfield test points and actively promoting the commercial process of 5G SA. At the initial stage of 5G SA deployment, the voice traffic of 5G users will adopt a fallback 4G solution, i.e. EPS fallback. With the development of the 5G network, the 5G network coverage is better and better, and when the 5G network reaches a certain coverage rate, the voice service of the 5G user will evolve from EPS Fallback to vonr (voice over New radio). However, the VoNR can be realized only by the support of the terminal device, and when the network provides the VoNR, the network still needs to use the EPS Fallback to provide the 5G voice service for the terminal which does not support the VoNR and is on the storage.
Accordingly, a technique capable of providing different voice solutions for terminal devices having different capabilities is desired.
Disclosure of Invention
Currently, in the process of an EPS Fallback evolving to VoNR, a need to provide a voice service for a terminal that does not support VoNR at the same time is met, and therefore, the present invention aims to provide a method and an apparatus for providing VoNR and EPS Fallback at the same time, so as to provide different voice solutions for terminal devices with different capabilities.
