The invention discloses a gel waterproof adhesive tape and a use method thereof, wherein the gel waterproof adhesive tape comprises an adhesive tape layer and a release paper layer, and at least one auxiliary element is arranged on the surface of the adhesive tape layer; the adhesive tape layer is made of silicon hydrogel or interpenetrating network hydrogel. The auxiliary member is provided with one, and the auxiliary member sets up in the middle part on sticky tape layer surface. Technical Field

Background
In industries such as the power industry and the communications industry, protection against water and the like is required for components requiring protection such as connector heads.
In the prior art, a waterproof protection technology of '1 +3+ 3' (namely winding 1 layer of electric insulating tape first, then winding 3 layers of rubber waterproof tape, and finally winding 3 layers of electric insulating tape) is generally adopted, and the reason why one layer of electric insulating tape is wound on the bottom layer of a component needing protection is to peel off the whole protection structure of '1 +3+ 3' during maintenance without damaging components needing protection such as joints or cables; the protection mode in the prior art has certain defects:
1. the rubber waterproof adhesive tape only has viscosity on one surface of the tape base, so that the adhesive force is poor, and the risk of falling off exists;
2. the rubber waterproof adhesive tape is not tightly wound on the protective body, so that the waterproof function of the rubber waterproof adhesive tape is directly influenced;
3. the rubber waterproof adhesive tape needs to be stretched and kept to be wound, so that the operation space required by adjacent joints is large and the operation is inconvenient; the appearance consistency is poor due to the influence of human operation factors;
4. the rubber waterproof tape is difficult to peel during maintenance, and particularly, the maintenance is carried out in winter or at low temperature, so that the maintenance efficiency is obviously reduced.

The gel waterproof adhesive tape is soft, the shape of the gel waterproof adhesive tape can be changed only by a little pressure, the whole protection body (comprising a thread or a groove and the like) is filled, and the sealing of the protection body can be ensured only by applying the required pressure to the gel waterproof adhesive tape. The gel waterproof adhesive tape can be constructed in a wide temperature range of minus 30 to plus 60 ℃, and provides long-term waterproof protection with high reliability.
