Abstract
The invention provides a technical upgrading module of a conditional access card, which comprises a host adapting unit, a conditional access card adapting unit, a technical standard upgrading unit and a controller, wherein the host adapting unit is used for connecting with a host and detecting a technical standard version supported by the host; the condition receiving card adapting unit is used for connecting with the condition receiving card and detecting the technical standard version supported by the condition receiving card; the controller is used for judging whether the technical standard version supported by the host computer is consistent with the technical standard version supported by the conditional access card, if so, starting an internal through mode to enable the host computer and the conditional access card to be in through connection on data interaction; if the technical standards are inconsistent, the technical standard upgrading unit is started, and the host and the conditional access card are adapted to realize the connection between the conditional access card and the host. Detailed Description
In the embodiment of the invention, a technical upgrading module of a conditional access card is provided, which comprises a host adapting unit 1, a conditional access card adapting unit 2, a controller 3, a memory and a technical standard upgrading unit 5. The host adapting unit 1 is configured to connect with a host and detect a technical standard version supported by the host. It should be noted that, the host is a device capable of installing a conditional access card and playing a digital television, and may be a set-top box, or may be the digital television itself with digital signal decoding. In the embodiment of the present invention, the host adaptation unit 1 has a physical interface adapted to a host, and is used for connection with the host. Specifically, the host adapting unit 1 is a physical hardware plug conforming to a universal interface standard, and its main function is to connect with a host having a universal interface, and obtain a technical standard version supported by the host by detecting data on a command channel therein.

In the embodiment of the invention, the storage unit 4 is connected with the network server and is used for periodically downloading certificates and software packages of various technical standard versions of the conditional access card into the network server, thereby realizing the update of the certificates.
The technical standard upgrading unit 5 is used for adapting between the host and the conditional access card, making up the difference between the old standard and the new standard on the conditional access card, and realizing the mutual authentication between the conditional access card and the host. The technical standard upgrade unit 5 may call certificates of various technical standard versions of the host and conditional access cards in the storage unit 4. After the technical standard upgrading unit 5 is started, from the perspective of a host, the conditional access card which is not the conditional access card of the original old standard but the conditional access card of the new standard is connected with the technical standard upgrading unit; there is no previous change in view of the conditional access card compared to the host to which it is connected.
It should be noted that, after the host is upgraded, the technical standard version supported by the host is higher than the technical standard version supported by the conditional access card, so that the receiving card cannot be adapted.
Specifically, when the technical standard version supported by the host is higher than the technical standard version supported by the conditional access card, the technical standard upgrading unit 5 adapts between the host and the conditional access card, and the specific process includes:
