The browser integrated in the set-top box is responsible for displaying the browser display page, when the browser display page is displayed, it is assumed that 35 ticker elements are included in the browser display page, in the traditional set-top box, every time a controller finds one ticker element, a thread is established to perform calculation such as position conversion, synthesis and the like of the ticker element, for example, the corresponding moving parameters after the browser display page is moved are calculated according to the parameters of the ticker elements, the calculation such as synthesis rendering, temporary layer data synthesis and the like is carried out on the temporary layer according to the moving parameters, therefore, 35 threads are required to be established by the controller for the calculation of position conversion and synthesis of 35 ticker elements in the browser presentation page for realizing the presentation of the browser presentation page, and then the controller resource is seriously occupied for the calculation of the ticker element when the browser display page is displayed. Of course, it is not known that a browser presentation page may include a large number of ticker elements, as may be included in some other user interfaces. In order to solve the problem that the computation of the ticker element severely occupies the control resource, an embodiment of the application provides a set-top box, for example, for solving the problem that the computation of the ticker element in a browser display page severely occupies the control resource.
Fig. 1 is a usage scenario diagram of a set-top box provided according to some embodiments. As shown in fig. 1, a user may operate the set-top box 100 through the set-top box control 101 and the display apparatus 200 through the display apparatus remote control 201. The set-top box control device 101 and the display device remote control device 201 may be remote controllers, the communication between the remote controllers and the set-top box 100 includes infrared protocol communication or bluetooth protocol communication, and other short-distance communication modes, and the communication between the remote controllers and the display device 200 includes infrared protocol communication or bluetooth protocol communication, and other short-distance communication modes, and the display device 200 is controlled by wireless or wired modes.
The set-top box 100 and the display device 200 are each also in data communication with a server 300. The set-top box 100 and the display device 200 may be allowed to be communicatively connected through a Local Area Network (LAN), a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and other networks. The server 300 may provide various contents and interactions to the display apparatus 200. The server 300 may be a cluster or a plurality of clusters, and may include one or more types of servers.
In the embodiment of the present application, the set-top box 100 includes a controller, a first port and a second port; the first port is connected with the controller and used for connecting the controller with a network; the second port is connected to the controller, and is used for the controller to connect to the display device 200, and further, data transmission and interaction between the controller and the display device 200 are realized through the second port, so that the display and playing of the data of the set top box 100 are performed through the display device 200, for example, the display of a browser display page, the playing of audio and video, and the like. The second port may be an HDMI interface, and is connected to the display apparatus 200 through an HDMI line.
In the embodiment of the application, the controller detects the ticker element in the browser display page, controls the thread of the ticker element to pause according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element, namely, the controller determines whether the thread of the ticker element can pause according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element, and when the thread of the ticker element is determined to meet the pause requirement according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element, the thread corresponding to the ticker element is controlled to pause. Because, usually, the ticker element begins to be scrolled only when the control or column corresponding to the ticker element is selected. Therefore, in the embodiment of the application, the pause control of the threads of the ticker elements is performed according to the attribute parameters of the ticker elements, so that the number of the threads of the ticker elements which run simultaneously in the controller can be reduced, and the occupation of the threads of the ticker elements on the resources of the controller is saved.
In the embodiment of the present application, the ticker element is used by the page developer to create a scrolling text subtitle, and the attribute parameters of the ticker element include specific attribute parameters of the ticker element, such as: direction, indicating the scrolling direction; behavior, which indicates a scrolling manner, such as continuous scrolling, back-and-forth scrolling; loop, indicating the number of scrolls; scrollmountain, which represents the scrolling speed, such as a step size of one movement, and has a unit of pixel; scrolldelay, which represents the scroll delay, e.g., the time interval between two scrolls, in milliseconds; height, which represents the height of the motion area; width, which indicates the width of the motion region, etc. The attribute parameters of the ticker element also include basic characteristics of the display element, such as: opacity, which means the opacity of the ticker element, e.g. 0 is completely transparent, 1.0 is completely opaque; or display, which represents the visibility of a ticker element, such as none representing the complete absence of visibility (invisible), i.e. not displayed, block or some other value representing the display by property, etc.
In this embodiment of the application, whether the ticker element is visible at the current time or whether the scroll area is outside the display area of the device screen may be determined according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element, so as to further determine whether to control the thread corresponding to the ticker element to pause, that is, determine whether to pause the thread of the ticker element.
In some embodiments of the present application, if the attribute parameter of the ticker element relates to a visibility parameter of the ticker element, when the ticker element is included in the page, the controller detects the ticker element in the page, and the controller acquires the visibility parameter of the ticker element; and if the visibility parameter of the ticker element is invisible, namely the ticker element is invisible at the current moment, controlling the thread of the ticker element to pause, namely pausing the computation of position conversion, synthesis and the like of the ticker element. For example, if the visibility parameter of the ticker element is not invisible, a thread of the ticker element may be run, and calculations such as position conversion and composition of the ticker element may be performed; alternatively, it may be necessary to determine whether the thread of the ticker element needs to be paused by other mechanisms, and the determination may be specifically performed according to actual needs.
In some embodiments of the application, if the attribute parameter of the ticker element relates to a transparent attribute parameter of the ticker element, when the page includes the ticker element, the controller detects that the ticker element in the browser display page is displayed, and the controller acquires the transparent attribute parameter of the ticker element; and if the transparent attribute parameter of the ticker element is fully transparent, namely the ticker element is invisible at the current moment, controlling the thread of the ticker element to pause. For example, if the transparency attribute parameter of the ticker element is not fully transparent, a thread of the ticker element may be run, and calculations such as position conversion and composition of the ticker element may be performed; alternatively, it may be necessary to determine whether the computation of the ticker element needs to be suspended by other mechanisms, and the determination may be specifically selected according to actual needs.
Of course, in some embodiments, the visibility parameter of the ticker element and the transparency attribute parameter of the ticker element may not be involved in the attribute parameters of the ticker element, and then the selection may be made in combination with the attribute parameters actually included in the attribute parameters of the ticker element, and other attribute parameters of the ticker element may be selected as long as they can indicate whether the ticker element is visible or not.
In some embodiments of the application, the attribute parameters of the ticker element can be combined to determine whether the scrolling region of the ticker element is outside the screen display region at the current moment, and when the scrolling region of the ticker element is outside the screen display region at the current moment, the thread of the ticker element is controlled to pause. Illustratively, whether the scrolling area of the ticker element is outside the screen display area at the current moment is confirmed by confirming the position of the frame of the ticker element and the scrolling direction. Furthermore, the initial position of the marquee element and the position of the parent frame can be combined with the transformation direction and parameters of the whole page, and the initial position of the marquee element is superposed to carry out the frame position of the marquee element at the current moment.
In some embodiments of the present application, the controller obtains an attribute parameter of the ticker element to confirm a scrolling direction of the ticker element; if the scrolling direction of the ticker element is the up-down direction, determining the display position and the display width of the left frame of the ticker element at the current moment; confirming whether the scrolling area of the ticker element is outside the display area of the equipment or not through the display position and the display width of the left frame; and when the rolling area of the ticker element is outside the display area of the equipment, controlling the thread of the ticker element to pause.
In some embodiments of the present application, the controller obtains an attribute parameter of the ticker element to confirm a scrolling direction of the ticker element; if the scrolling direction of the ticker element is the left-right direction, determining the display position and the display height of the upper frame of the ticker element at the current moment; confirming whether the scrolling area of the ticker element is outside the display area of the equipment or not through the display position and the display height of the upper frame; and when the rolling area of the ticker element is outside the display area of the equipment, controlling the thread of the ticker element to pause.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a display area of a device screen according to some embodiments, where a solid line box in fig. 2 is a boundary of the display area of the device screen, and a dotted line is a boundary of a browser presentation page. In order to facilitate determining whether the scrolling region of the ticker element is outside the device display region, in some embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 2, a frame display position of the ticker element at the current time is determined based on a coordinate system in which a left vertex of the device display region is an origin O, a direction in which a left boundary of the display device screen deviates from the origin is a positive direction of an x-axis, and a direction in which a left boundary of the display device screen deviates from the origin is a positive direction of a y-axis.
In an example, if the scrolling direction of the ticker element is the up-down direction, comparing the left frame display position of the ticker element at the current time with the width of the device screen display area, or comparing the sum of the left frame display position of the ticker element at the current time with the width of the device screen display area and 0; and if the display position of the left frame is larger than the width of the display area of the equipment screen, or the sum of the display position of the left frame and the width of the display area of the equipment screen is smaller than 0, confirming that the scrolling area of the ticker element is outside the display area of the equipment screen, and further pausing the calculation of the ticker element.
In an example, if the scrolling direction of the ticker element is the left-right direction, comparing the display position of the upper frame of the ticker element at the current moment with the height of the display area of the screen of the device, or comparing the sum of the display position and the display height of the upper frame of the ticker element at the current moment with 0; and if the display position of the upper frame is larger than the height of the display area of the screen of the equipment, or the sum of the display position of the upper frame and the display height is smaller than 0, confirming that the scrolling area of the marquee element is outside the display area of the equipment, and further pausing the calculation of the marquee element.
In some embodiments of the application, the controller may detect whether the ticker element is visible or whether the scrolling area is outside the device display area at the current time according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element at regular time, and perform pause control of the ticker element calculation when the ticker element is invisible or the scrolling area is outside the device display area, that is, pause the calculation of the ticker element corresponding to the thread at the current time. With the advance of time, the display position of the browser display page can be moved, so that whether the marquee element is visible at the current time or whether the rolling area is outside the display area of the equipment is detected according to the attribute parameters of the marquee element at regular time, and the pause and the start of the calculation of the marquee element at the current time can be accurately controlled.
In some embodiments of the present application, it is determined whether the ticker element is visible at the next time or whether the scrolling area is outside the device display area according to the attribute parameter of the ticker element, and it is determined to perform pause control on the thread corresponding to the ticker element, that is, it is determined whether the running state of the thread corresponding to the ticker element needs to be changed.
In some embodiments of the application, when a thread of a ticker element is paused, an attribute parameter of the ticker element at the current moment is detected at preset time intervals, and whether the thread corresponding to the ticker element needs to be controlled to be started or not is determined according to a detection result. The ticker element calculation is started when the ticker element does not meet a pause condition, such as the ticker element is visible and the scrolling region is in the device display region. The preset time interval may be set according to the scrolling delay attribute parameter of the ticker element, for example, the preset time interval is equal to the scrolling delay attribute parameter of the ticker element, or N times the scrolling delay attribute parameter of the ticker element, where N is greater than or equal to 2.
As shown in fig. 2, the position of the ticker elements A, B, C, D, E and F in the page at a certain time is shown in fig. 2, where: the scrolling direction of ticker elements A, C and E is the left-right direction, and the scrolling direction of ticker elements B, D and F is the up-down direction. When the browser display page is displayed, the controller detects the ticker elements A, B, C, D, E and F, and correspondingly establishes threads a, b, c, d, e and F for calculating the ticker elements A, B, C, D, E and F; the controller detects ticker elements A, B, C, D, E and F and determines from the attribute parameters of ticker elements A, B, C, D, E and F whether the ticker element is visible or the scrolling region is outside the device display area at the current time, and the thread of the ticker element that is not visible or the scrolling region is outside the device display area will be paused.
From fig. 2, it can be clearly seen that ticker element a and ticker element B are both located within the device display area regardless of the scrolling direction of ticker element a and ticker element B. And if the visibility parameter of the ticker element A at the current moment is invisible or the transparent attribute parameter is fully transparent, pausing the calculation of the ticker element A, namely pausing the thread a, and skipping the calculation related to the ticker element A. And if the visibility parameter of the ticker element B at the current moment is completely invisible or the transparent attribute parameter is completely transparent, pausing the calculation of the ticker element B at the current moment, namely pausing the calculation of the thread B at the current moment, and if the calculation related to the ticker element B is skipped.
The rolling direction of the marquee element C is the left-right direction, the upper frame display position and the display height of the marquee element C are obtained and determined, the upper frame display position and the equipment screen display area height are compared, the upper frame display position of the marquee element C is larger than the equipment screen display area height, the rolling area of the marquee element C is determined to be outside the equipment display area, and the calculation of the current moment of the marquee element C is paused, namely the calculation of the current moment of the pause thread C is paused. Certainly, along with the operation of a user, the display page of the browser is moved, the position of the marquee element C and other devices relative to the display area of the screen changes, and if the marquee element C moves above the display area of the screen at a certain moment, the display position of the upper frame of the marquee element C is negative, so that the calculation of the marquee element C at the moment, namely the calculation of the pause thread C at the moment, can be determined by comparing the sum of the display position of the upper frame and the display height with 0, and when the sum of the display position of the upper frame and the display height is smaller than 0, the calculation of the marquee element C at the moment is paused.
The scrolling direction of the marquee element D is the up-down direction, the left frame display position and the display width of the marquee element D at the current moment are determined, the left frame display position and the equipment screen display region width of the marquee element D are compared, the left frame display position of the marquee element D is smaller than the equipment screen display region width, and the scrolling region of the marquee element D at the current moment is confirmed in the equipment screen display region. Certainly, as the browser display page is moved along with the user operation, the position of the ticker element D relative to the device screen display area changes, and assuming that the ticker element D moves to the left side of the device screen display area at a certain moment, the left frame display position of the ticker element D will be negative, so that the calculation of the ticker element D at the moment, that is, the calculation of the pause thread D at the moment, can be paused by comparing the sum of the left frame display position and the display width of the ticker element D at the moment with 0 and determining that the scrolling area of the ticker element D is outside the device display area when the sum of the left frame display position and the display width is less than 0.
The rolling direction of ticker element E is left right direction, acquires ticker element E's last frame display position and demonstration height, and frame display position and equipment screen display region height are gone up in the comparison, and ticker element E's last frame display position is less than equipment screen display region height, confirms ticker element E's the rolling region in equipment screen display region. Certainly, along with the operation of a user, the display page of the browser is moved, the position of the ticker element E and other relative device screen display areas changes, assuming that the ticker element E at a certain moment moves to the position above the device screen display area, the upper frame display position of the ticker element E will be negative, so that the calculation of the ticker element E at the moment, namely the calculation of the pause thread E at the moment, can be paused by the rolling area of the ticker element E outside the device display area by comparing the sum of the display heights of the upper frame display position and the display height of the ticker element E at the moment with 0, and when the sum of the display heights of the upper frame display position and the display position of the ticker element E at the moment is smaller than 0.
The scrolling direction of the ticker element F is up and down, the left frame display position and the display width of the ticker element F at the current moment are determined, the left frame display position of the ticker element F and the width of the device screen display area are compared, the left frame display position of the ticker element F is larger than the width of the device screen display area, the scrolling area of the ticker element F at the current moment is confirmed to be outside the device screen display area, the calculation of the ticker element F at the current moment is suspended, and the calculation of the thread F at the current moment is determined temporarily.
Even so even there are 35 ticker elements in the browser show page, through the control processing of above-mentioned STB controller, the ticker element that needs to calculate in the controller of a certain moment usually can not be more than 3, has greatly reduced the ticker element quantity that needs to calculate in the controller in the same moment, and then has reduced the occupation of ticker element calculation to the controller resource in the browser show page.
Therefore, according to the set top box provided by the embodiment of the application, the controller detects the marquee element of the browser display page, the pause control of the marquee element thread is carried out according to the detected attribute parameter of the marquee element, namely, the controller judges whether the marquee element meets the pause requirement or not through the attribute parameter of the marquee element, and when the marquee element meets the pause requirement, the thread corresponding to the marquee element is controlled to pause. Therefore, in the set top box provided by the embodiment of the application, by performing pause control on the threads corresponding to the ticker elements, the starting number of the threads corresponding to the ticker elements at the same moment in the controller can be controlled and reduced, and the occupation of the controller resources by the calculation on the threads corresponding to all the ticker elements in the page at the same time is reduced; meanwhile, when a large number of marquee elements are included in the page, the occupation of the calculation of the marquee elements in the page on the controller resources can be effectively reduced.
